Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat adopsi cloud computing dikalangan mahasiswa kota Batam. Mengambil mahasiswa di lima perguruan tinggi di Batam sebagai sampel, penelitian ini akan mengkaji sejauh mana mereka memanfaatkan teknologi cloud dan apa alasan untuk menggunakan atau tidak menggunakan teknologi cloud computing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden sudah menggunakan teknologi cloud computing. Meskipun sebagain besar telah menggunakan teknologi cloud computing namun hanya sebagian saja yang memiliki pengetahuan lebih mendalam tentang cloud computing. Mengingat besarnya manfaat yang dirasakan, diharapkan peran pemerintah ataupun stakeholder yang lainnya untuk lebih peduli terhadap pengembangan keahlian khususnya yang berkaitan dengan cloud computing sehingga mahasiswa tidak hanya sebagai pemakai saja namun juga memiliki keahlian yang baik dan siap di tempatkan dilapangan kerja sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri yang ada. Selain itu mahasiswa juga diharapkan mampu menciptakan ide – ide yang berguna dan menciptakan produk yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat luas.

Abstract

Traditional music is a music that develop across the archipelago and is a here dictary practice which is still on the run in society. The music is scattered almost all over and every region have different characteristics. Musical archipelago is born, grows, and develops throughout the archipelago. But the public interest to learn and know traditional musical instruments have begun to decrease because the traditional musical instruments are considered ancient and out of date so they are reluctant to learn it. One way for people to know as well as learning the traditional musical instrument is by creating an introduction application of traditional musical instruments archipelago based android instrument made in 3D to make it interesting interest of the community to learn it. System modeling On the construction of this application use UML (Unified Modelling Language) with tools activity diagram, use case And developed using the model waterfall Which is run on android operating system. This app is expected Can be an appropriate tool So that people want to Learn the traditional musical instruments archipelago.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to introduce folklore and tales which shaped Jambi’s culture today. As the world is getting more and more accustomed to more sophisticated and advanced technology, our children tend to forget cultural inheritance and prefer to spend their time on mobile phones. The research methodologies that are applied in this research are, in sequential order: Literature study, observation, application design, and acceptance test, which will ultimately yield an application to serve the purpose of this research. The new application will allow a more attractive delivery of folklores and legend of Jambi people via interactive comics with a unique drawing style. The application will also be one of the many medias to preserve the folklores as well as the history behind the lore itself.

Abstract

I'm Collection is one of the stores that sell women's clothing that is in Wiltop Trade Centre (WTC) Jambi BatangHari Block C No. 8-9. Marketing and sales system used by the store I'm Collection now the buyer must come directly to the store to see and buy goods. Based on interviews, the authors conclude that the sales process at this time creates difficulties for customers, which are located far apart the store I'm Collection. Customers would always want the ease or speed of the relevant information to facilitate their activities, one of them ordering or purchasing clothes on I'm Collection. The method used is the method of field research and interviews. This study produced a computerized application by using the main programming language PHP and My SQL Database. It is expected that these applications can help data processing system Sales and Sales Transactions that exist in the store I'm Collection WTC Jambi.

Abstract

Bengkel HMS motor is a bussiness that sells spare parts, oil and serve the service of motor service. In stock replenishment parts repair shop is buying spare parts, oil from supplier.Namun, in the activity of all transactions are still recorded manually. In the transaction service or customer acceptance only rely on paper transaction proof, so that on service service process still often happened error of transaction and stock data. Based on that, hence this research formulate problem to build an information system application which function as recording, monitoring, until processing data of HMS Motor Workshop. The first stage of literature study on information system, uml modeling, oop, code igniter and mysql. The next stage is the process of collecting data. This process is done by collecting workshop transaction data, transaction processing manually. As for system modeling method used using UML (Unified Modeling Language). After the design is completed next is the construction of an information system application that serves as the recording, monitoring, until data processing on repair services that exist in the Workshop HMS Motor.Proses include the design of user interface, coding and testing. To evaluate output results, the system will be tested using blackboxtesting testing. And the last is the stage of preparing reports after the research activities produce a system result, evaluation and analysis.

Abstract

PT. Indotruck Citra Pramata Jambi is one of the companies located in the Jambi where system rental heavy equipment still use help help book , agenda , microsoft excel and microsoft word .So that problems occur that is difficult to increase the number of reservations in rental heavy equipment significantly , the slow the dissemination of information to rental and the way rental heavy equipment in detail , and the availability of and price heavy equipment that will leased and the obstacles in data processing rental heavy equipment in recording data customers , calculation data rental heavy equipment and payment. Hence , this study aims to give solution to the problem by offering application rental heavy equipment use of language programming PHP and a database MySWL where writer do system development with the methods waterfall and used the model system the unified model language use use case diagram ,activity diagram ,class diagram and flowchart, diagram. The new system produce outputs that can manage and display data heavy equipment, data rental heavy equipment ,data payment heavy equipment and data forum

Abstract

Madrasah Nurul Hidayah is an educational institutions that teaches the religion of islam, one the subject which madrasah Nurul Hidayah taught is the guidance of Shalat. The learning process in this madrasah is still using a book accompanied by the teacher. This research aims to implement Android-based augmented reality as a media for introduction of shalat guidance virtually as an alternative media. System development method which this research uses is a waterfall with UML as a modeling system. The software used for the development is Unity 3D that is combined with the Android SDK and Vuforia SDK. This application can display shalat movement animation in a 3D form and displayed in the virtual wolrd. From the test results it can be concluded that any module on the application have run well.

Abstract

Mirabella Batik Jambi is a business engaged in the sale of Jambi typical batik with various types of materials such as atbm, silk, semi silk, sanwos and cotton. The system runs now where consumers still have to come directly to the store to purchase the product. Constraints faced by the store today is difficult to market or sell its products outside the city or region and can only market it in jambi region alone, the lack of new product information updates, and it affects the lack of maximum income store. The purpose of this study to design ansystem e-commerce to support the sales process that can make reservations online and provide information up todate.The method used is a method of analysis that is done by literature study, data collection (observation).Development methodmethod waterfall and emphasis UML. Types of e-commerce that is used is Business to Customer (B2C). This research resulted in anapplication e-commerce for Mirabella Batik Jambi stores to facilitate costumer to see the product in detail and make a reservation without having to come to the store simply by accessing the web site e-commerce store Mirabella Batik Jambi

Abstract

Information quality of an information system required three aspects: the input, process, and output. If one of the three aspects is not executed properly then the resulting information will be distorted and will not be in accordance with academic needs so that there will be various losses both from the aspect of prospective students concerned and academics who manage the data of new students. STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi is one of the campuses that move in computer science education in jambi. In the past, the new student admissions activities are still offline and fill out the forms provided by the committee. Currently, STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi has created a new student admissions information system and is online in supporting and simplify prospective students in registering themselves as students at STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi. Therefore, this study aims to measure the maturity level of information systems of new admissions STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi using Monitor, Evaluate and Assess (MEA01) domain with interview method and questionnaire of Process Capability Model (PCM), so it can be known the current condition (as is) with the expected conditions (to be) by prospective new students who want to register as well as the internal STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi namely Front Office and Biro Administrasi Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan (BAAK).
