Abstract

Abstrak: Lulusan vokasi seperti Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) menjadi penyumbang terbesar angka pengangguran. Fenomena ini bertolak belakang dengan orientasi pembelajaran yang diterapkan yang menggunakan metode praktikum berbasis project based learning (PBL). SMK Jurusan Teknik Sepeda Motor adalah jurusan yang memiliki potensi penyerapan tenaga kerja terbesar dengan mempertimbangkan fenomena volume kendaraan bermotor yang terus meningkat. Program Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi sepeda motor bagi siswa Teknik Sepeda Motor SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat Kabupaten Tegal. Metode yang digunakan adalah PBL yang diterapkan melalui Workshop propertis bahan bakar dan Workshop Karakteristik bahan bakar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Juni 2024 bertempat di bengkel Teknik Sepeda Motor SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat Kabupaten Tegal yang diikuti 20 siswa kelas XI. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, siswa kelas XI memperoleh peningkatan kompetensi sepeda motor dengan prosentase 20%. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil pengukuran kompetensi awal melaluisi pada PreTest dengan capaian penguasaan sebesar 68% dan meningkat menjadi 88% melalui pengukuran pada evaluasi PostTest. Pemberian materi propertis bahan bakar, performa dan karakteristik bahan bakar yang dilakukan melalui workshop dengan metode PBL terbukti dapat terserap secara maksimal.Abstract: Vocational graduates such as Vocational High Schools (SMK) are the largest contributors to unemployment. This phenomenon is in contrast to the applied learning orientation which uses a practical method based on project based learning (PBL). SMK Motorcycle Engineering Department is a department that has the greatest potential for absorbing labor considering the phenomenon of the increasing volume of motorized vehicles. This Community Service Program aims to improve motorcycle competence for Motorcycle Engineering students at SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat, Tegal Regency. The method used is PBL which is implemented through the Fuel Properties Workshop and Fuel Characteristics Workshop. The activity was carried out on June 21, 2024 at the Motorcycle Engineering workshop of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat, Tegal Regency which was attended by 20 class XI students. Based on the evaluation results, class XI students obtained an increase in motorcycle competence with a percentage of 20%. This is shown from the results of the initial competency measurement through the PreTest with a mastery achievement of 68% and increasing to 89% through measurements in the PostTest evaluation. The provision of material on fuel properties, performance and fuel characteristics carried out through workshops using the PBL method has proven to be maximally absorbed.

Abstract

Abstrak: Program edukasi transformasi digital ini sangat penting dilaksanakan untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda menghadapi tantangan era digital yang terus berkembang dan program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam rekayasa perangkat lunak, sekaligus mengembangkan soft skill dan hard skill pada siswa SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan yang berjumlah 35 siswa. . Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini mencakup ceramah interaktif, pelatihan langsung, dan simulasi pembuatan aplikasi serta situs web sederhana, yang tidak hanya mengajarkan teori tetapi juga penerapan praktis melalui simulasi proyek. Hasil evaluasi dengan observasi dengan pengaplikasian materi yang diberikan ke dalam diskusi dan koloborasi praktik menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan di berbagai indikator. Pemahaman dasar rekayasa perangkat lunak meningkat dari 70% menjadi 90%, sementara pemahaman dasar pemrograman meningkat dari 75% menjadi 85%. Penguasaan alat pengembangan perangkat lunak juga mengalami peningkatan dari 70% menjadi 80%. Selain itu, pemahaman algoritma dan struktur data meningkat dari 70% menjadi 85%, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari meningkat dari 75% menjadi 82%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi berbasis transformasi digital berperan penting dalam membekali generasi muda dengan keterampilan yang relevan untuk menghadapi tantangan Revolusi Industri 4.0.Abstract: This digital transformation education program is crucial to prepare the younger generation to face the challenges of the ever-evolving digital era. The program aims to enhance students' understanding and skills in software engineering, while also developing both soft and hard skills in the 35 students of SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan. The methods used in this program include interactive lectures, hands-on training, and simulations for creating simple applications and websites, which not only teach theory but also provide practical application through project simulations. The results of the evaluation through observation, including the application of the materials into discussions and collaborative practice, show significant improvements across various indicators. Basic software engineering knowledge increased from 70% to 90%, while basic programming knowledge improved from 75% to 85%. Mastery of software development tools also rose from 70% to 80%. Additionally, understanding of algorithms and data structures increased from 70% to 85%, and the use of technology in daily life grew from 75% to 82%. This study indicates that digital transformation-based education plays an essential role in equipping the younger generation with the relevant skills needed to face the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
