Abstract

Hinduism has many religious holidays, especially Balinese Hinduism. One of the holy religious holidays in Bali is Galungan. Galungan Day is usually greeted with a joyful atmosphere, this is because the philosophy of Galungan Day is the day when good (dharma) wins over evil (adharma). Speaking of traditions, the island of Bali itself has so many traditions that have been passed down from ancestors and are still preserved today. Likewise, when the Galungan holiday arrives, it will also be followed by the implementation of various traditions, one of which is the Ngejot Tumpeng-Anten tradition in the Kesian Pakraman Village. This research uses qualitative research. The results of this study indicate that the Ngejot Tumpeng-Anten tradition is a tradition that means togetherness between people, as a means of establishing relationships and silahturahmi with new couples. The implementation of this tradition is divided into two stages, namely right on Galungan day and on Galungan umanis. The difference between the first and second stages of ngejot lies in the time, the anten (bride) and the gift (jotannya). The tradition of Ngejot Tumpeng during Galungan is a tradition that has a high divine (theological) value, because it is a tradition related to faith in God Almighty. The use of offerings in Balinese terms called banten in this tradition is a form of self and also Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa as the ruler of the maxrocosmos (bhuana agung) and microcosmos (bhuana alit) and also the universe. The values contained in this tradition, namely the value of togetherness, the value of mutual cooperation and the value of divinity / religion.

Abstract

The Hindu-Trunyan religious beliefs in Trunyan Village, Bali, differ from the Balinese Hindu religion in celebrating important ceremonies such as Galungan, Kuningan, Nyepi, Ciwaratri, Sarasawati, and Pagarwesi, which are generally carried out by Hindus in Bali. In contrast, Trunyan Hindus hold important ceremonies unique to themselves or may not even celebrate at all. The research method in this literature study is library research, which involves collecting data from various library sources such as books, encyclopedias, documents and scientific journals. The funeral ceremonies in Trunyan Village are divided into three locations, namely Sema Wayah, Sema Nguda, and Sema Bantas, which are differentiated based on the circumstances of a person's death, not based on their social status or position.

Abstract

Education is actually a process of inheriting a culture from one generation to the next. Education is defined as the process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group of people in an effort to mature through teaching and training efforts. However, the world of education in Indonesia is not devoid of criticism and rebuke. In addition to the implementation of the education curriculum policy which is still complicated, the high cost of education to the poor quality of Indonesia is still the talk of all Indonesian citizens. But it cannot be denied that the development of digital technology also has a negative impact on the world of education. Excessive use of information technology has proven to have a negative impact on conceptual thinking skills. In response to the above, the author has an assumption that it can be overcome with the concept of Tri Hita Karana. The method used is qualitative research method, which is a type of research that examines and can describe complex and concrete social realities. The application of Tri Hita Karana teachings in the Baris Tengklong tradition at Badung Mine Temple, Pemucutan Village, West Denpasar is a cultural practice that illustrates the harmony and balance between three important aspects of Balinese life, namely human relations with God, human relations with each other, and human relations with nature. Thus, the application of the Tri Hita Karana teachings in the Baris Tengklong tradition at the Badung Mine Temple in Pemucutan Village, West Denpasar, is a clear example of how Balinese culture integrates spiritual, social, and ecological principles to create balance and harmony in their daily lives. This ceremony is a concrete manifestation of Balinese people's lives that pay great attention to harmony in relationships with God, fellow humans, and the surrounding nature. Overall, the application of Tri Hita Karana teachings in the Baris Tengklong tradition at Badung Mine Temple, Pemucutan Village, West Denpasar is a concrete example of how these teachings are still very relevant and alive in the daily lives of Balinese people. It is a manifestation of the way Balinese people try to maintain balance and harmony with nature, gods, and fellow humans in an effort to achieve happiness and prosperity together.
