This goal can be achieved by a variety of paths known as catur marga or catur yoga. Catur marga or catur yoga is a method or way that can be done to get closer between humans and God. The catur yoga marga are bhakti yoga, karma yoga, jnana yoga, and raja yoga. Each individual can take the path that he wants to pursue to reach God. This path is carried out with a sincere heart and in accordance with the conditions of each Hindu. Through this yoga path, Hindus can actualize their lives in accordance with their respective obligations. Self-control through mind control as a whole through the practice of meditation can be a medium in achieving this life goal. Abstract

The quantity of students for a college is of particular concern, this is because the quantity of students indirectly affects public confidence in educational institutions. In addition, the quantity of students will also affect the assessment process of the institution by the competent body or institution. So that the quantity of students is always strived to increase every year both by universities and study programs as a unit of education in it. The selection of a study program is not a question that can be decided simply. There are many determinants that prospective students should consider. From various searches of literary sources, it was found that the factor that determines the basis for choosing is attraction or attractiveness. In addition, a person's decision to make a choice often occurs very quickly sometimes less than half a minute and is influenced by the likes and beliefs. The study program in attracting prospective students must conduct study and analysis as a first step.Looking at what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges that may arise today, this of course becomes important because the results of this study can affect in the process of achieving organizational goals, especially in an effort to increase the number of students.

Abstract

Hindu ethics are good and bad rules of human actions that are based on Hindu teachings. Hindu ethics reveal how to get along, sit, walk, eat and drink, sleep and dress. There are standards that must be followed, as in the pattern of associating with all people regardless of ethnicity, race and religion. Humans are essentially living creatures that describe the value of God into the natural environment and the activities they do. The activities of human or associating use the value of God as a basis for moving forward in order to become better. efforts that can be made by Hindus include keeping the mind with a noble common goal, speaking in order to support that goal, and making a serious effort to realize it. all efforts undertaken for the nobler public interest become a tangible manifestation of the brotherhood among the children of the nation. this common goal can only be realized if we are able to control the emotion and personal interests. Everything must be able to set forth in various opportunities to achieve life goals “Moksartam Jagathita ya ca iti Dharma”

Abstract

Mythology became a familiar word to everyone. Some think of mythology as a speech that actually happens and some think of it as just a delusion. But in reality mythology has a very important role if it is associated with religious life. Mythology as an oral or written tradition that is passed down in a particular ethnic group for generations, has been able to provide an image or example for the people supporting the mythology. The values contained in mythology are used as a valuable teaching to increase confidence in God and as a way to foster harmony in life. In ancient times, myths were accepted by primitive peoples or arkais humans, because they were related to nature. The phenomena of nature are manifestations of the holy. The sacred saying (myth) is always a magical secret and beyond human thought. Myth is seen as an attempt by arkais humans to describe the supernatural's trajectory into the world. The existence of myths is largely determined by the supporting community. Although the times are modern, but myths are still believed in modern human life. Keywords: Faith, Mythology, Religious People

Abstract

Religion can direct a person towards the path of liberation. Various attempts can be made to achieve these goals. Shivaism as one of the understandings that is widely developed in the archipelago offers a way that can be guided by humans in living their lives in the world. In the tattwa jnana text, the figure of Shiva is a central figure in every stage of achieving goals. Siva even becomes the basis for belief and the highest goal attained by humans. Through mind control and complete meditation practice it becomes a vehicle for attaining life goals. Controlling human senses and thoughts is an important point in living life. Seeing this background, the author is interested in exploring how the teachings of sivaism in the Tattwa Jnana text will influence the way of thinking of Hindus. In addition, the author hopes to contribute in encouraging critical thinking towards religious teachings that have been studied in order to strengthen sraddha as a Hindu society.

Abstract

Abstract

Religion in today's modern era faces such great challenges. If religion was initially very feared but along with the development of the age humans began to deny the nature of the religion.Modern society is pragmatic thinking, prioritizing a little effort but expecting maximum results, more clearly humans today want everything to be instant.Pleasure and material pleasure become one of the purposes of life. Hedonism that places pleasure as the highest value and must be realized in social practices that in this case are manifested in the implementation of rituals in Hindu communities in Bali. This spiritual hedonism has great peulang in creating hyperitual, where the ritual is carried out beyond the nature of the ritual itself.Religious ritual activities developed into a lifestyle and prestige. In the current era spiritual hedonism is closely related to matrealistic spirituaism, commodity spirituality, market spirituality and money.Considering this understanding prioritizes enjoyment as the highest goal so it requires markets, commodities and money. In essence, the implementation of the ritual will run smoothly and bring peace if based on dharma and during the procession follow the ethics of the religious ritual. Keywords: Hedonism, Rituals, Hinduism
