Abstract

This paper seeks to promote the need for massive reform in the body of Islamic education. This reform is necessary for Islamic education to respond to the challenges and demands of the changing age. In addition, this paper also seeks to offer a solute offer to Islamic education in the face of the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. As we all know, the era of 4.0 has a broad impact in all areas of life, not least in the field of education. The era that gave birth to this phenomenon disruption requires the Islamic education world to participate in adjusting. Islamic education graduates are now faced with new challenges, demands, and needs that have never existed before. So it is necessary to update and innovate the system, governance, curriculum, competence of human resources, facilities and infrastructure, culture, work ethic, and others. Otherwise, Islamic education will be increasingly lagging and obsolete. Therefore, it is necessary to find definite steps for Islamic education in order to remain competitive in this disruption era. Solutive step is to participate disruption themselves.

Abstract

Pesantren develops with an encompassing tradition which is supported by the presence of kiai as the guardian of wholeness and consistency of its establishment, character and ideology of kiai together with institutional pesantren. The existence of pesantren in the development of education is still well preserved, without much dependent on helping to improve the consistency of education. There are many interesting things from pesantren and it is not found in other institutions that are the standard subjects that are textualized in the salaf (classical) or yellow book. Pesantren that provide education during difficult times, the struggle against colonial and is a center of study that still survive to the present. The existence of pesantren in conducting education and character formation has been tested, so that many national figures are born through education in pesantren. But along with the global world, the realm of education has also changed, from the oriented to prepare human resources as part of strengthening the faith to the Almighty, turning to materialistic life. The liberal-capitalistic educational system is the whole form of educational management that serves as a means to gain only financial gain, which ignores the importance of education for every child. However, it is clear that the presence of pesantren makes one momentum remain its existence in the development of education that always put forward on the goal of education that haqiqi always based syiar Islam.

Abstract

Character education is a systematically designed and executed effort to help learners understand the values ​​of human behavior related to God, self, fellow human beings, the environment, and nationality embodied in thoughts, attitudes, feelings, words and deeds based on religious norms, law, etiquette, culture, and customs. This paper aims to Understand the formulation of the concept of character education perspective Al Quran and Hadith. Through the understanding of textual and contextual understanding. The existing problems are answered through library research (library research). The data are collected from various references; both primary, secondary, and supporting data. Existing data were analyzed by hermeneutic approach by content analysis (content analysis). The results show that the Hadiths raised in this study contain human character or behavior towards God, self, fellow human being, and environment. Some concepts of character education that can be revealed from Al-Quran and Hadith is First, the foundation of character education, Second. The concept of character education in Islam. Third, the stages of character education formation. Fourth, the method of internalization character education. Fifth, the role of teachers and parents in character education.

Abstract

Muhammad Iqbal is a great scholar from India who influences the Islamic world, one of whose attention is on character education. To face the millennium era requires a strong and responsible person, and high motivation to achieve goals. A student who is still in a period of rapid development physically and mind easily affected from various things, both positive and negative. Therefore, a teacher must equip students with a character education with real and habitual examples. The result of character education habituation becomes the guidance of students in facing a challenging future and many changes. Seeing the condition of students in many countries of Indonesia are exposed to the impact of technology and moral crisis to make various circles to give attention and salvation in various ways and methods. Muhammad Iqbal offers character education to save and prevent students from moral crisis is through the formation of characters in the form of exemplary, self-potential development of students, and fosters the attitude of tolerance.

Abstract

This paper will discuss the nature, values ​​and strategy formation of character in Islam. See the environment around us, especially urban areas many children aged students do not have good character in their daily life, even every behavior there are no values ​​in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Like ditching school, fights and others, even educated people also often has a bad character, such as corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN). Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has indirectly influenced the world of education and learning in this country. These developments are fundamental and have brought significant changes in the acceleration and innovation of education. However, in addressing these developments, not all parties or circles are able to respond well. Therefore, to be able to give a positive impact, one that needs to be done is the development of information and communication technology that is done through the utilization of ICT in education that includes the role of ICT as the substance of education, learning aids, educational facilities, competency standards, administrative support education, education unit management tools, and educational infrastructure. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The method of data collection is: observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique using qualitative analysis. The steps in data analysis techniques include, data reduction, data display and verification. The results of this study can be concluded that the development of information and communication technology in the field of student affairs in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik applied in terms of: acceptance of new students, reporting of learning outcomes, and student discipline control. In the field of personnel, technology is developed in terms of employee planning and staffing assessment. While in the field of finance is developing services in the field of finance by working with Bank BRI Syari’ah.

Abstract

Memory method is a classic learning method that has been used by the Arabs since Islam began to come. Until now this method is still often used in pesantren salaf and modern pesantren. IAIN Jember is the only Islamic state college located in the horseshoe. The development and progress in IAIN Jember has undergone some changes to the learning method used in Arabic learning along with the development of Arabic language learning innovation. But in fact there are some Arabic instructors who are still strongly maintaining to use the memorization method in Arabic learning. Even though it was a lot of contradictions from campus citizens.
