Abstract

Solar based automatic braking system. This tool is used as an automatic braking system when a vehicle sees an object in front of it. The HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is mounted on a system that is used as an object signal receiver, with Arduino as a control to control motor speed and brakes automatically when seeing an object right in front of the vehicle with a certain distance. The braking is carried out using a PWM speed control system, while the driver used for the motorbike is L298N. as clean energy and reduce waste of costs in the use of electricity, this tool uses solar cells as a power source or as a battery charger.

Abstract

Until now there are no system that helps determine candidates who are eligible to receive the Sandjojo Foundation scholarship at Soegijapranata Catholic University. Therefore, scholarship recipients are sometimes not on target. This research can help solve problems by using the Naive Bayes algorithm as a medium for decision makers with criteria such as based on the student's GPA, the total income of parents, and must be an active student in the organization. Using previous registrant data, the Naive Bayes algorithm can study the data for each of the criteria entered to determine whether applicants qualify or not to receive scholarships from the Sandjojo Foundation. This research was made using a web-based application and has been tested four (4) times with a variety of test and training data, with an accuracy of around 50% to 65% and a time of less than three (3) seconds..

Abstract

Adsorption using biosorbent become an alternatif for recovery heavy metals such as gold from electronic waste. Mangosteen rind can adsorp Au(III) ions in acid condition pH 2 optimally. Kinetics study of Au(III) ions adsorption using mangosteen rind was aim to determine adsorption kinetics model, adsorption rate constanta (k) and activation energy (Ea) Au(III) ions using mangosteen rind. Adsorbent. Adsorbent preparation was carried out using maceration methof for activate adsorption functional group and remove contaminant materials. Au(III) ions adsorption was analyzed by varying temperature and time. Adsorbed Au(III) was determined using Atomic Adsorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and characterized using Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) Spectroscopy dan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) Spectroscopy. The result proved that KBM adsorbent could adsorp Au(III) ions effectivelly and follow Ho pseudo-second order kinetic with Ea of 24,65 kJ/mol and k of 2.05x10-3 ( 40℃); 3.63x10-3 ( 50℃) dan 3.60x10-3 ( 60℃) g mg-1 minutet-1 respectivelly.

Abstract

Menjes is an food that was made by tofu pulp. In order to be made a menjes chis, it must be dried as dry as possible. In this research, it’ll develop a menjes dryer with variation of heat and time in order to calculate the efficiency of the dryer. The results, drying process using menjes dryer was faster than ordinary process. If menjes dried by sunlight, it need 3 hour to decrease 14% of water level inside menjes, but if menjes dryed by menjes dryer it only need an hour to decrease 12,33% water level using T=400C heat source temperatur and 8.6% using T=500C. Keywords: Menjer, Dryer, Menjes Chips, Water Level Abstrak Menjes merupakan makanan berbahan dasar kedelai yang umumnya terbuat dari ampas tahu. Untuk dibuat menjadi keripik menjes, menjes tersebut harus dikeringkan sekering mungkin. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan rancang bangun mesin pengering menjes dengan variasi temperatur pemanasan dan lama pemanasan. Hasil dari penelitian ini pengeringan menggunakan mesin pengering menjes lebih cepat dibandingkan dijemur di matahari. Proses pengeringan menjes dengan dijemur hanya bisa menurunkan kadar air hingga 14% dalam waktu 3 jam, sedangkan dengan menggunakan pengering menjes dapat menurunkan kadar air 12,33% pada T=400C dan 8,6% pada T=500C dalam waktu 1 jam. Abstract

In line with the development of thin-film technology, its also developing plasma-based removal techniques such as plasma ashing. Plasma is an ionized gas-like phase. Ionized gas when the temperature approaches or exceeds atomic ionization energy. The atoms are ionized into positive and negative ions. The purpose of this research to analyze the working system of plasma generation using 2,45GHz microwaves. The plasma reactor was successfully operating, but it only maintain to generate plasma in short time. The reactor broke because it couldn’t hold the bombardment energy of particles which the energy was 1,623x10-24 for each every second. At last, the reactor could maintain the plasma only for ±240 s. Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out how many packaging can be produced each day in canteens around Unika Soegijapranata (in terms of the packaging materials they use). Respondents in this study are sellers or owners of the canteens. The number of respondents in this study were 50 canteens around Unika Soegijapranata (inside and outside Unika Segijapranata). The research method is by conducting direct interviews with open-ended questions to respondents to analyze whether the canteen around Unika Soegijapranata is already green or no, then the results of the interview are processed into quantitative data. From the results it can be seen how much the number of wrappers issued by 50 canteens in 1 day. From this study it can also be concluded that there was no canteen around the university that actually implemented green pembungkus in its business with various causes (seller awareness, weak regulation, etc.). ABSTRAK: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa banyak pembungkus yang dikeluarkan kantin di sekitar unika Seogijapranata dalam satu harinya (ditinjau dari bahan pembungkus yang digunakannya). Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah penjual atau owner dari kantin - kantin tersebut. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 kantin di sekitar unika (di dalam unika dan luar unika). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan wawancara secara langsung dengan pertanyaan terbuka kepada responden untuk menganalisis green atau tidaknya kantin yang berada di sekitar unika tersebut. kemudian dari hasil wawancara diolah menjadi data kuantitatif. Dari hasil dapat diketahui seberapa besar jumlah pembungkus yang dikeluarkan 50 kantin yang menjadi responden dalam 1 harinya. Dari penelitian ini pula dapat disimpulkan bahwa ternyata tidak ada kantin di sekitar unika yang benar - benar menerapkan green pembungkus dalam usahanya dengan berbagai faktor penyebabnya (kesadaran penjual, lemahnya regulasi, dan lain - lain).

Abstract

The system of patriarchal prevents women from leaving the domestic sphere. However, that does not mean women cannot fight. This study aims to find the discourse of resistance offered by the film Marlina The Murderer in Four Acts. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with the discourse analysis approach. Based on the results of the study found that two cultural roles performed by women, namely activities on the bed and activities in the kitchen. Through discourse analysis that sees meaning through text and images based on the themes of the film, it has several conclusions. The cultural role that women have can be used as a force against male domination. Furthermore, women use the way men do to against, which is to be masculine. Abstrak Kuatnya sistem patriarki membuat perempuan tidak bisa keluar dari wilayah domestik. Namun, bukan berarti perempuan tidak bisa melawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat wacana perlawanan yang ditawarkan oleh film Marlina Si Pembunuh dalam Empat Babak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan dua peran kultural yang dilakukan oleh perempuan, yaitu aktivitas di atas kasur dan aktivitas di dalam dapur. Melalui analisis wacana yang melihat makna melalui teks dan gambar berdasarkan tema yang ditawarkan film maka memiliki beberapa kesimpulan. Peran kultural yang dimiliki perempuan dapat digunakan sebagai kekuatan untuk melawan dominasi laki-laki. Selanjutnya, perempuan menggunakan cara yang dilakukan laki-laki untuk melakukan perlawanan, yaitu menjadi maskulin.

Abstract

Jepara Regency is one of the areas that is the center of the furniture industry in Indonesia. The development of the furniture industry is expected to increase regional income and tax revenue. This study discusses to look at the development of the furniture industry in Jepara Regency, asking for the development of the furniture industry with Jepara Regency revenue as well as potential tax revenues related to the development of the Jepara Regency furniture industry. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis method. The quantitative descriptive analysis used includes trend analysis, analysis of the furniture industry tax, and Input-Output (I-O) analysis. The results showed; 1. Furniture Industry in Jepara Regency still has an upward trend of development from year to year both in terms of the number of business units, production volume and number of workers, 2. The Furniture Industry has an important role in developing Jepara Regency in terms of labor, 3 The role / relationship of the furniture / wood material industry in Jepara Regency to other sectors to input suppliers or related future links above the regional average. 4. Increase in taxes in accordance with government taxes, but the potential for tax revenue from the furniture business industry in Jepara Regency shows a positive trend.
