Abstract

PT. APW is a manufacturing company of the bus body. One of the production process department in PT. APW is frame work department. It is in charge of making the bus body frame. The problem faced in this department is inadequationvof the current system. It is because the work is done manually and is not by using computer applications with database systems. The study used the assembly information management system based on Group Technology to help its assignment of bus body frame assembling process and the work report. Management Information System Design Assembly (SIMPER) were performed by using the Microsoft Access 2013 to produce a prototype application SIMPER consisting of phase identification, analyzing, planning, designing, implementating and testing. By designing this SIMPER prototype application, it is expected to meet the needs of users of information systems in Production Manager, SPV and Admin employees.

Abstract

Composite material could be developed into new material that would be useful for many interests. Fiber as composite raw material must be given pretreatment to improve the quality of composite. In this research, raw material for the composite was umbrella grass (Cyperus Alternifolius). A tool was designed to facilitate the processes of rolling or pressing, or abbreviated as roll press. Indeed, the design of roll press was preceded by designing the construction section that involved shaft, transmission system, bearing, pulley belt, and driver motor to move the roll. Result of rolling must be suitable for processing umbrella grass into the fiber of composite raw material. Testing was conduced to examine the work of the tool against the stalk of umbrella grass. Two testing was considered. First was testing against the variation of loads, which involved 10kg, 12kg and 14kg. Second test was against the variation of roll rotation at 160rpm, 197rpm and 280 rpm. Result of both tests provided specific fiber derived from umbrella grass that would be compatible to be composite material. Some results of research were indicated. Main drive motor was ½ PK with rotation (n1) = 1430rpm. Pulley diameter (d1) was 75mm. Reducer system was signified by n2 = 831rpm and d2 = 129mm, and if d3 = 59mm was used, the outcome was n4 = 160rpm with d4 = 307mm. In case of bearing, its sliding moment was 0.309N.mm and tangent force was 2.06N. The frame of roll press tool was designed at the dimension of length x wide x height = 600mm x 320mm x 1200mm. The best parameter was 160rpm with load force of 10kg. By taking account all these results, it could be said that the result of roll press processing had successfully produced the fiber from umbrella grass into the suitable raw material for the composite.

Abstract

Wilayah Desa Sitiarjo terdiri dari perbukitan dan dataran. Saat musim penghujan, selalu terjadi banjir yang mengakibatkan kerugian materiil termasuk rusaknya infrastruktur desa.Pendanaan terhadap perbaikan kerusakan infrastruktur dilakukan dengan menyusun proposal dana yang akan diajukan baik kepada pihak pemerintah maupun non pemerintah. Perangkat Desa Sitiarjo dituntut mampu untuk menyusun proposal dana dengan baik dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan Gambar Teknik dan Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB).Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, pelatihan tahap I, II, dan III telah berjalan dengan cukup lancar dan baik. Kegiatan ini juga diikuti dari perangkat desa di luar Sitiarjo serta melebihi dari jumlah yang direncanakan pada tahap I, hal ini menunjukkan antusiasme perangkat desa di dalam memperoleh materi yang diberikan. Tersusunnya RAB pembangunan infrastruktur Desa Sitiarjo menunjukkan bahwa Perangkat Desa Sitiarjo telah mampu menyusun RAB dengan baik. Sedangkan pembuatan gambar dengan AutoCAD cukup sulit untuk dilakukan oleh perangkat Desa Sitiarjo, hal ini dikarenakan software tersebut masih cukup baru bagi mereka serta kurangnya kemampuan dasar tentang pengetahuan komputer.Sehingga di kemudian hari diperlukan pelatihan yang lebih intensif mengenai pembuatan gambar dengan bantuan AutoCAD Kata kunci: AutoCAD, Gambar Teknik, RAB

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang besar terhadap proses pembelajaran khususnya pendidikan dasar. Berbagai masalah yang dihadapi tidak hanya dari sisi siswa dan orang tua, namun dari sisi guru. Diperlukan keterampilan guru di dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tersampaiakan dengan baik kepada siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SDK Frateran 1 Kediri untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru tentang pemanfaatan teknologi di dalam pembelajaran daring. Dari hasil pelatihan terdapat peningkatan tingkat pemahaman guru di dalam pembelajaran daring. Kata Kunci: kompetensi guru, pembelajaran daring, pemanfaatan teknologi

Abstract

In line with the development of thin-film technology, its also developing plasma-based removal techniques such as plasma ashing. Plasma is an ionized gas-like phase. Ionized gas when the temperature approaches or exceeds atomic ionization energy. The atoms are ionized into positive and negative ions. The purpose of this research to analyze the working system of plasma generation using 2,45GHz microwaves. The plasma reactor was successfully operating, but it only maintain to generate plasma in short time. The reactor broke because it couldn’t hold the bombardment energy of particles which the energy was 1,623x10-24 for each every second. At last, the reactor could maintain the plasma only for ±240 s. Abstract

Concrete is a discreet material that consist of aggregate as filler and cement paste (matrix) as binder. Both of them work together as a composite or monolithic mechanism, depends on the interface zone characteristic that developed by aggregate. Monolithic mechanism leading to failure catastrophically (brittle and instantly), while composite mechanism prevails failure occurs gradually. Monolithic mechanism maybe found in high strength concrete where hardness and stiffness of aggregate are compatible with their matrix. At the moment when the matrix tensile strength (ft) is reached. The cracks will propagate quickly cutting both aggregates and matrix, as well at once. Contrary to the composite condition, when the matrix tensile strength is reached, the aggregate will take over the load and the crack will propagate through the interface zone. The perspective of fracture mechanics and the failure parameters explain the mechanism of crack propagation based on the energy principles. This investigation reviews the phenomenon of concrete compressive strength with angular aggregates compared to rounded aggregates on cylindrical specimens with diameter (d) 15 cm and height (h) 30 cm of the same compressive strength.  The difference between them, shows the tendency of the influence of the interface zone as traction, which significantly contributes to the performance capacity before  collapse

Abstract

The design of production machines always requires an innovation with the aim of making improvements and to improve production results. The umbrella grass stem pressing roller machine in previous research can still be developed to improve the performance of the engine. In this research, the first method used is to design a transmission system and gearbox reduction with the main drive motor with 1 HP power specifications and 1400 rpm rotation. The second method is to test the press roller machine. In this study, 3 variations of loading were made (35kg, 40kg, and 45kg) and for each loading variation 3 fiber samples were taken for the tensile test. The results obtained from this research are that the transmission system is selected by using a wormgear type gearbox with a rotation ratio (i) of 1/20 and from the calculation, the rotation of the press roller is obtained by 20 rpm. The results of the fiber tensile test, obtained the highest tensile strength value at the loading variation of 35 kg with the resulting fiber is better. Whereas for the average tensile stress of the 3 samples the result is 61.136 MPa.

Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan di era Industri 4.0 pada saat ini menuntut kemampuan sumber daya manusia yangharus mengikuti pula akan perkembangan teknologi. Berhubungan dengan hal tersebut, ParokiGereja Ijen Malang menginginkan Putra-Putri Altar (PPA) selain mampu menjalankan tugaspelayanan dengan baik juga diharapkan mampu mengembangkan kemampuannya dalammendokumentasikan kegiatan-kegiatan PPA, membuat desain untuk keperluan publikasi kegiatan,dan mempublikasikan kegiatan tersebut. Dari permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukan pelatihanketerampilan desain. Pelatihan dalam kegiatan IbM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuanPPA Paroki Santa Perawan Maria dari Gunung Karmel - Gereja Ijen Malang dalam mendesainmenggunakan CorelDRAW dan desain bangunan menggunakan Autodesk Revit Building.Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah peserta dapat memahami materi yang disampaikan dengan baik dandapat mengaplikasikan dalam project kecil dengan pembuatan logo, pembuatan layout sederhanauntuk cover majalah. Selain dari itu, tingkat pemahaman peserta pelatihan juga meningkat. Hal inidibuktikan dengan rekapitulasi hasil pre-test dan post-test.Kata kunci: desain grafis, desain bangunandigital, dokumentasi, pelatihan AbstractDevelopments in the Industrial 4.0 era currently demand the ability of human resources to keepup with technological developments. In this case, Ijen Parish Church Malang expects the Altar Servers(Putra-Putri Altar - PPA), in addition to being able to carry out their ceremonial duties properly, tobe able to develop their abilities in documenting PPA activities, making designs for publicationpurposes, and publicizing the activities. These problems suggest that design skills training is needed.The training in this IbM activity aims to improve the ability of the Parish of the Blessed Virgin Maryof Mount Carmel - Ijen Church Malang in using CorelDRAW for design and using Autodesk RevitBuilding for designing buildings.The result of this training is that after the implementation of the training the trainees are able tounderstand well the material presented and apply it in small projects by making logos and simplelayouts for magazine covers. Furthermoret, the comprehension level of the training results in thetraining participants show an increase as evidenced by the recapitulation of the pre-test and post-testresults.Keywords: graphic design, digital building design, documentation, training

Abstract

Kegiatan abdimas ini bertujuan untuk membantu memberikan solusi atas masalah yang dihadapi oleh kelompok wanita tani (KWT) Mawar yaitu (1) peningkatan kapasitas produksi, dan (2) pencatatan keuangan. KWT Mawar mempunyai kegiatan utama menanam sawi. Saat ini, KWT Mawar berupaya untuk memenuhi pupuk tanaman sawi dengan memproduksi sendiri. Kotoran kambing yang menjadi bahan utama pupuk kandang diperoleh secara gratis dari peternak kambing. Kotoran kambing tersebut dihancurkan dengan tenaga manusia, sehingga hasil produksinya hanya mencapai 75 kg per bulan. Padahal kebutuhan pupuk sebesar 250 kg per bulan. Metode pelaksanaan abdimas ini adalah pembuatan mesin komposter elektrik, pelatihan penggunaan mesin komposter elektrik, dan pendampingan untuk pencatatan keuangan. Pembuatan komposter elektrik didasarkan dari hasil penelitian salah satu anggota Tim Abdimas. Mesin komposter elektrik ini dapat mempercepat dan meningkatkan kapasitas produksi pupuk menjadi sebesar 900 kg. Kelebihan produksi tersebut dijual ke anggota KWT Mawar dan non anggota. Penjualan ini memberikan konsekuensi logis bagi pengurus KWT Mawar untuk mengadministrasikan pencatatan keuangan secara akuntabel. Solusi atas permasalahan ke-2 adalah pendampingan penetapan harga pokok produksi dan pencatatan keuangan sederhana berbasiskan MS Excel. Penetapan harga pokok produksi menggunakan konsep target costing. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa biaya produksi untuk kemasan pupuk 5 kg sebesar Rp 11.560. Harga jual ditetapkan sebesar harga pasar Rp 13.000 untuk kemasan 5 kg. Ini memberikan tambahan penghasilan sebesar Rp 187.200. Pencatatan keuangan sederhana berbasiskan MS Excel mengakomodir kebutuhan pengurus KWT dalam mencatat dana titipan anggota dari hasil penjualan sawi. Dana titipan ini akan dibagikan ke para anggota pada saat bulan Ramadhan.

Abstract

Hydrogen is a fuel that is being developed today as a substitute for fossil fuels that are depleting. One way to produce hydrogen fuel is through the electrolysis method using a water-based HHO generator. This study aims to determine how much hydrogen is produced from each electrolyte solution, which is then compared to the area and color of the resulting flame. The comparison of each electrolyte solution comes from the ratio of moles of solute and solvent (H2O), which is 1:12, with the solutes used being NaCl, CH3COOH, and NaHCO3. The concentration of hydrogen gas produced is detected using the MQ-2 sensor. At the same time, the area and color of the flames are obtained through the results of a 20-minute combustion video, which is made into 100 photo frames for each electrolyte solution. The results of this study showed that the average hydrogen production for NaCl solute was 891.0 ppm and the flame area was 12.64 mm2 without blue color, the solute CH3COOH was 917.33 ppm, the flame area was 16.46 mm2 with 40.52% blue color, and NaHCO3 solute was 980.67 ppm with a flame area of 17.47 mm2 with 76.19% blue color
