Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of career management training to provide self-reliance on the students who prefer SMK. This research is a quantitative study with experimental methods that use two group pre test-post test design. The subject of a trial scale of 58 students from a population of 455 students and 40 students who have low self-reliance are selected as samples of research. The measuring instrument of this study in the form of a self-reliance choose career based on Steinberg's proven self-reliance aspect has proved valid and reliable. Analyzing the data using the test analysis technique T. Results of the study proved that effective career management training increased independence of choosing a VOCATIONAL student career, so the research hypothesis was accepted (P < 0.01)

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between meaningful work, transformational leadership and organizational commitment of teachers both simultaneously and also partially. The subjects in this study were SDIT Ghilmani teachers who had 1 year minimum service period. Data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS Versiaon 20. The results of the study stated that there is a relationship between meaningful work, transformational leadership and organizational commitment in SDIT Ghilmani Surabaya teachers, so that both of these variables can predict organizational commitment. The results of the study stated that there is a relationship between meaningful work, transformational leadership and organizational commitment in SDIT Ghilmani Surabaya teachers, so that both of these variables can predict organizational commitment. There is a partial positive relationship between meaningful work with organizational commitment and there is no positive relationship partially bertween transformational leadership and organizational commitment.

Abstract

AbstrackAnglican Community Center Batam is a community of social volunteers who gives their time, energy and funds to help people who are in difficulities. The illegal house (ruli) community of Baloi Kolam Batam is known as a community where the people live in difficulties and have violence, alcoholic, infidelity and low prosocial behaviors. Anglican Community Centre volunteers give assistance through medical programs, food distribution, reading and writing tuition and character education at ruli Baloi Kolam. Everything is given free of charge. The purpose of this study is to determine the correclation of religiosity and motivation to be volunteers with prosocial behavior at Batam's Anglican Community Center volunteers. This study involves 66 volunteers from Batam's Anglican Community Center. The research instrument used is the scale of prosocial behavior, religiosity and motivation to be volunteers. This study uses multiple regression analysis techniques that are processed with the SPSS version 20. The results of the study show (1) religiosity has a very significant correlation with prosocial behavior with a calculated t value of 2.781 and siginification of 0.007 (p<0.01); (2) motivation to be volunteers has a very significant correlation with a value of t count of 3.835 and a significance of 0.000 (p<0.01); (3) religiosity and motivation to be volunteers have a very significant correlation simultaneously with prosocial behavior with a F value of 20.813 and a significance of 0.000 (p<0.01). The implication of this research is that volunteers at Anglican Community Center Batam need to maintain and further improve religiosity as a means to maintain motivation to be volunteers so that they increase their prosocial behavior.Keywords: Religiosity, Motivation To Be Volunteers and Prosocial Behavior

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan review terhadap dokumen tugas pokok dan fungsi milik salah satu perusahaan daerah di Kota Surabaya. Diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian ini, perusahaan daerah memiliki dokumen dekkripsi jabatan dan persyaratan jabatan yang sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Republik Indonesia nomor 35 Tahun 2012. Metode penelitian ini merupakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan studi kasus. Subyek pada penelitian ini yaitu pemangku jabatan pengawas umum yang merupakan jabatan penting dalam perusahaan yang merupakan bagian dari satuan pengawas intern perusahaan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan wawancara langsung kepada pemangku jabatan. Selanjutnya untuk memeriksa keabsahan dan kebenaran data, peneliti melakukan klarifikasi data yang telah didapat kepada atasan langsung. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkannya dokumen deskripsi jabatan dan persyaratan jabatan pengawas umum yang lebih detail yang dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan sebagai acuan melaksanakan pekerjaan dan untuk menyusun standar opersional prosedur pada bagian terkait.

Abstract

Perilaku prososial remaja SMP dapat dilihat pada tindakan menolong guru, gotong royong membersihkan sekolah, dan tidak adanya perilaku perudungan. Perilaku prososial ini harus terus ditingkatkan untuk mengantisipasi dinamika perubahan jaman. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan perilaku prososial adalah diskusi moral melalui film. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas diskusi moral melalui film dalam meningkatkan perilaku prososial remaja. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Kr. Anak Bangsa Surabaya, dengan populasi semua siswa SMP, berjumlah 83 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, terpilih pelajar kelas VIII A, berjumlah 17 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode one group pretest posttest design tanpa group kontrol. Perilaku prososial remaja diukur menggunakan skala ukur perilaku prososial sebelum dan sesudah treatment, meliputi aspek menolong, bekerjasama, berbagi, dan mempertimbangkan hak dan kesejahteraan orang lain. Hasil penelitian diuji dengan uji t, didapatkan hasil ada perbedaan yang sangat signifikan dari rata-rata perilaku prososial remaja sebelum dan sesudah diberi treatment diskusi moral melalui film. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah hipotesis diskusi moral melalui film sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan perilaku prososial remaja, terbukti.
