Abstract

Scholarships are a work program in every school or madrasa. The scholarship program is held to ease the burden on students in pursuing their studies especially in financial costs. Scholarships are given to students in a selective manner in accordance with the type of scholarships held. Distribution of scholarships is carried out by several institutions to help someone who is less capable or achievers during his studies. Based on this to help determine in determining a student to get a scholarship, then a decision support system is needed. The model used in this decision support system is simple additive weighting, this method is often also known as the weighted sum method, the basic concept of this method is to find the weighted sum of the ranking of performance on each alternative on all attributes. This method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the intended alternative is the one who is entitled to receive a scholarship based on specified criteria.

Abstract

Admin Application PT. World Trans which is being developed, found a problem in the database system that failed to communicate with the application system, namely when the admin enters the application using a user name and password, the database does not respond to data calls that are being made and the admin cannot enter the application. The development team has made improvements, and this time the test was carried out in an effort to see the possibility of the same defects or new defects in the application. So, if not tested, it will be very detrimental for business owners and other users. This test uses the Black Box testing technique. Black Box testing method consists of several ways, including Equivalence Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, Comparison Testing, Sample Testing, Robustness Testing, and others. Among the many testing methodologies, this test method was chosen using Equivalence Partitioning. Because Equivalence Partitioning is a Black Box testing method that breaks or divides the input domains of the program into data classes so that a test case can be obtained. The design of the Equivalence Partitioning test case is based on evaluating the equivalence class for input conditions that describe a set of conditions that are true or not. The results of this test are the admin application system PT. World Trans can make data calls to the database and there are no problems as before or new problems so that the system can run properly and according to software requirements that have been determined. With the results of this test, the development team can find out the extent of the problem in this application, as well as see the possibility of similar or new problems that can harm the team and business owners.

Abstract

Technological advances are growing rapidly, including mobile device technology, one of which is an Android smartphone that is experiencing rapid progress with a variety of features so that it can spoil its users, with the rapid development of smartphone technology, many users benefit, but many are disadvantaged by the growing smartphone. technology, so that many perpetrators or persons who commit crimes and seek profits with smartphone facilities. Case simulation by securing Samsung Galaxy A8 brand android smartphone evidence using the MOBILedit forensic express forensic tool with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) method which consists of four stages of collection, examination, analysis and reporting. The results of testing the Samsung Galaxy A8 android smartphone are carried out with the NIST method and the MOBILedit Forensic Express tool obtained by data backup, extraction and analysis so that there are findings sought for investigation and evidence of crimes committed by persons using android smartphone facilities.

Abstract

Testing software that is incomplete and ineffective can cause various problems that cause losses, especially for users, this test is carried out to ensure that if it does not match what is expected then the system fails. The sales information system at the Hi Shoe Store is then carried out using the Black Box test based on Equivalence Partitions, so it will be known weaknesses in the information system after testing. The system test results show that testing can improve quality and guarantee error free.

Abstract

In this employee payroll application, if there is an error program there will be a loss for employees and the company. Losses for employees, if this application program error occurs then the salary reduction will experience delays due to the difficulty in the process of calculating employee salaries and employees will be late in receiving salaries. Losses for the company, if there is an error program in this application, the company will suffer losses if the employee wants a salary reduction quickly but the company cannot calculate quickly and accurately. In solving this problem, the authors use the black box testing method. Black box testing method is a test that sees the results of execution through test data and ensures the function of the software. Black box testing method has several testing techniques, namely Sample Testing, Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitions and others. From the testing techniques that have been mentioned, we use the Equivalence Partitions testing technique. Equivalence Partitions are tests that refer to data entry on the employee payroll application form, input will be tested and then put together based on the test function, both valid and invalid values. The expected results of this test are a payroll system for employees who are computerized, have standard rules in the process of developing the program so that it is easy to develop and maintain, and can minimize errors in processing salary calculations for employees.

Abstract

In its implementation, the document recording process carried out by this company is still done manually so that it is not uncommon to find difficulties when processing data. Employee Performance Appraisal Application at Java-based PT.Bluepay Digital International is an organizational process in evaluating employee performance. The purpose of conducting performance appraisals in general is to provide feedback to employees in an effort to improve the appearance of their work and efforts to increase organizational productivity, and specifically carried out in relation to various policies towards employees. Problem limitation is centered on the design of employee performance appraisal applications at Java-based PT.Bluepay Digital International by HRD whose workmanship is still manual to make the application more efficient in evaluating employee performance. The purpose of making an employee performance appraisal application is to provide innovation by using IT technology in processing employee performance appraisals. In making this application using the experimental method so that a good, effective and easy solution can be obtained. The method used is data collection using interview and observation techniques to PT Bluepay Digital International.

Abstract

The problem of several agencies or companies in determining employees or new employees is how the institution can select qualified new employees where currently the recruitment of each applicant candidate to be accepted at the company more applicants in the available vacancies. HRD will be selective in screening prospective employees who can be relied on to fill important parts of the company specifically the section provided for the right people and providing the required qualifications. The need for fast and precise information also needs to be applied by PT Abacus Dana Pensiuntama in the recruitment of new employees to be able to select and provide competent human resources for their fields. Research is offered to use the method in the decision making process on the recruitment of prospective new employees. To support the decision making process, a weighted sum method is used. The research method used is the foundation of research and observation. This decision making process will produce optimal decisions in determining the prospective employees who are entitled to the company in accordance with the results of the calculation by the weighted sum method.

Abstract

Routine events required by tertiary institutions require escort from selected security guards. Elections based on personal subjectivity will lead to results that are not in accordance with the purpose of the security itself. However, if the selection is based on the objectives will give results that are in accordance with professionalism. Each security unit has a different level of importance, so that at the level of security the event needs a level of professionalism in accordance with the level of importance at the college level. In detail the selection of security units on several criteria, namely event, years of service, cooperation, service, personality, skills and responsibilities. The method used in this selection process is the K-Nearest Neighbor, with the final result approval rate of  0.88%

Abstract

Testing is one level that must be passed in order to produce results from a weighted system. If no testing is done on the system, the quality of the system cannot be known so that if an error occurs it can harm the system. By conducting experiments can find the location of defects in a system that can be known from the beginning that can be fixed immediately. Testing there are several types of system experiments, experiments used are black box testing using a limit value analysis method that is effective in trying the functions of a system. The technique determines the limits on the lower and upper values to produce the actual values. Based on the test results using the boundary value analysis technique that still has a disability that is the lack of data verification, then there must be an improvement in the validation function.
