Abstract

Learning history, especially about national heroes, is the first thing that needs to be done to instill the value of struggle and is a moral lesson for students at school. Observations that the author made on students in the SDN Cikancung 1 environment, the problem obtained was that there was so much material that had to be memorized and the lecture learning method applied at this time made students less interested and bored quickly. So the purpose of this research is to create a WEB-based question-and-answer educational game on the names of national heroes using the GDLC method for grade 4 SDN Cikancung 1. GDLC (game development life cycle) is a step-by-step approach to analyzing and building games using a specific cycle and more complex. The GDLC method is used as a research method in making this game, where the research stages consist of initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, and release. The results of this study indicate that students as game users judge that they can operate this game easily, helping the learning process to be more interesting than the previous learning process as well as making teachers and students more creative and innovative in the learning process at school.

Abstract

Trading companies, such as automotive product sales companies, of course prepare stock of sales products in the warehouse section. The warehouse department often has difficulty in the process of finding goods. The placement of inventory positions that are not well organized is one of the causes of the warehouse section having difficulty finding goods. The condition of the goods in the warehouse is often placed in an unfavorable position so that the search for goods takes time. This incident is very ineffective if the goods are needed at the time of the sale of goods. This incident also affects the time of making inventory reports. This research was conducted to help the activities of product data processing in the warehouse to be better. Development of a web-based inventory information system using the Economic Order Quantity method. How this method works can provide information about the number of requests is known, constant, independent. Inventory information is available according to customer orders, there are no price discounts and avoid stock outs if there is an order for goods but the goods are not available.

Abstract

Civil Servants (PNS) are Indonesian citizens who have certain conditions and are given the mandate to be a State Civil Apparatus on a permanent basis and are not bound by a contract to carry out their assigned duties and positions. There is a view that states that civil servants have useful guarantees in the future and there is no contract system in work. Each government has civil servants with different groups. This study aims to group the central civil servants according to agencies and groups in Pematangsiantar. In completing this research, it was carried out using the k-means algorithm. The data used in the study came from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) by processing the data into 3 clusters, namely high, medium, and low. The results of this study indicate that the k-means algorithm can be applied in determining the grouping of Central Civil Servants by Agencies and Groups in Pematangsiantar with the results that 1 item is high (C1), 4 items are medium (C2), and 21 items are low (C3).

Abstract

The large number of prospective college students and new college students who do not know the relationship between courses and the skills needed in the world of work, causes college students to study at a minimum. Many college students also do not know the relationship between courses and courses that will be taken in the future, making students passive and unprepared when taking courses. There are also students who even just found out that they took the wrong major. This study is intended to provide an overview for prospective students and early students to find out the relationship between courses and careers in the world of work. It is hoped that the final results of this research will be able to provide direction for students to be more serious when taking courses and find out the skills that must be mastered in facing the challenges of the world of work according to their interests and desired career. the other result is to reduce students who drop out in the middle of the road because they do not know the importance of education to build a career.

Abstract

Scholarship means an assistance given to individuals (students) which aims to be used for the continuation of the education taken. Every year, MTS Mathlaul Anwar provides scholarships to outstanding students. The current selection of scholarships, which is still done manually, makes schools need to determine a clear way of calculating which students get the right scholarships so that the scholarships given are right on target. Therefore, a Decision Support System (SPK) application is designed which is expected to be able to determine scholarship recipients according to the qualifications determined by the school. SPK is expected to help select scholarship recipients. The existence of the proposed SPK can help schools in the selection process for scholarships easily, quickly and accurately. In this study, the author uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method which can provide assessment results based on each weight on each scholarship award qualification. The criteria for awarding scholarships are the value of knowledge, the value of skills, activeness in school activities (ex-curricular activities), attendance and morals. By making a decision support system by applying the SAW method, it is easier for schools to determine students who get scholarships. Of the five selected scholarship recipients, student D was found to be in the first rank with a result of 14.25.

Abstract

Recruiting new employees is the process of selecting potential employees to attract talented employees who will join the company later. Improve your company's productivity by hiring new employees who meet your company's standards. In addition to the development of information and communication technology, it is considered necessary to use a decision support system for recruiting new employees to facilitate the management process in the selection of new employees. One of the decision support system methods that can be used in the potential employee selection process is the Order Preference Method (TOPSIS), which resembles an ideal solution. In this study, we developed system applications using PIECES system analysis techniques, system development techniques using waterfall models using Unified Modeling Language (UML) models, application development using Sublime, and devices using black boxes. Describes the test. The end result of hiring an employee using a decision support system provides managers with hiring recommendations and is already available as a web-based hiring system.

Abstract

SPP-IRT is a system of BPOM agencies that implements consulting services for users who are applied using live chat.  Judging from the SPP-IRT live chat administrator, there were 254 unserved messages out of 665 messages, and included out-of-hours incoming messages. Judging from the data, SPP-IRT live chat has quite dense traffic. Therefore, it is necessary to create a chatbot that is able to answer questions automatically. Chatbots are designed to be able to communicate with humans using Natural Language Processing (NLP). This chatbot is built with Node.Js and leverages Wi.ai for a knowledge base. Wit.ai is a machine built with NLP. The steps taken in this research start from data collection, analysis, knowledge base design, system design, program creation, testing and  system application. This research data was obtained from SPP-IRT related FAQs. The results obtained that chatbots are able to provide diverse responses in accordance with data that has been trained and validated through Wit.ai.

Abstract

Data Center (DC) is currently one of the most popular Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) along with the increasing digitization of business processes. The concept of centralization provides convenience for the improvement, development and efficiency of energy resources. DC networks support cloud-inspired environments that require stability and agility, thereby extending the functionality of DC networks into a public cloud provider infrastructure to better manage hybrid cloud networks. The TIA-942 standard allows DC designs to be considered early in the building development process and contributes to architectural considerations, by providing multidisciplinary design and construction information. It is used for a comprehensive understanding of DC design including facility planning, cabling systems, and network design. Good planning during building construction or renovation is significantly less expensive and less intrusive than after the facility is operational. The DC design using the TIA-942 standard was tested through Computational Fluid Dynamic simulation to produce a better analysis. All of these analyzes are to avoid misplacing or positioning cooling devices or racks in the DC, as well as assisting in the selection of efficient cooling system technology. So that the DC design can function as an operation center and service provider, as well as increase efficiency and energy resources for all SKPD in XYZ Province.
