Abstract

Sentiment analysis of customer reviews is vital for e-commerce, yet conventional CNNs and LSTMs face architectural constraints when processing unstructured Amazon Kindle Store feedback data. Specifically, CNNs prioritize local n-gram features over long-range semantic dependencies, while LSTMs often suffer from information dilution in the lengthy narratives typical of e-book product reviews. To address these identified research gaps and technical challenges, this study proposes an enhanced hybrid deep learning architecture integrating Gated Recurrent Units (GRU) with a Self-Attention mechanism. The methodology utilizes a large-scale dataset of 982,619 review instances, mapping five-point rating scales into binary sentiment categories while employing trainable GloVe embeddings and fixed-length sequences of 100 tokens to capture intricate domain-specific features. Furthermore, Random Oversampling is rigorously applied to mitigate inherent class imbalances between positive and negative reviews. Experimental results demonstrate that the GRU-Attention architecture achieves a superior classification accuracy of 0.973 and a training loss of 0.0930, significantly outperforming the CNN (0.961) and LSTM (0.948) baselines. The proposed model effectively prioritizes sentiment-critical tokens within reviews, attaining balanced Precision, Recall, and F1-scores of 0.973. These findings confirm the efficacy of attention-based recurrent networks in modeling unstructured textual data, offering stakeholders high-precision analytical insights to optimize customer satisfaction strategies and objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an Arduino Uno and NodeMCU ESP8266-based air quality monitoring system integrated with Telegram as an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic notification medium. This system uses MQ-7, MQ-135, and MG811 sensors to detect CO, CO₂, and other air pollutants. The research method is descriptive quantitative with testing at two locations with different activity levels, namely (1) Lebak Bulus Terminal (heavy traffic) and (2) Jl. H. Midar Pondok Pinang (low activity). The results show that CO levels reached 120 PPM at Lebak Bulus Terminal in the afternoon, which is categorized as “unhealthy” based on the Air Pollutant Standard Index (ISPU). The system was able to detect differences between clean and polluted air with 97% accuracy, a response time of 2.3 seconds, and a 98% notification success rate via Telegram. These results indicate that the system operates in real-time, efficiently, and is easily accessible, while also increasing public awareness of air quality and mitigating health risks due to pollution.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital payment systems has encouraged large-scale companies to adopt efficient and integrated cashless transaction mechanisms. PT Telekomunikasi Selular implemented the Corporate Online Payment System (CoPS) to support non-cash payments to Pelanggan Corporates. This study aims to analyze the implementation of CoPS and identify its benefits and challenges. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied using in-depth interviews, document analysis, and literature review. The results indicate that CoPS improves payment efficiency, accelerates financial reconciliation, and enhances transaction accuracy and transparency. However, several challenges remain, including human resource readiness, Pelanggan Corporate adaptation, and system data integration. This study concludes that CoPS plays a significant role as a supporting system for cashless transactions and corporate financial management, with strong potential to support sustainable digital transformation in corporate payment systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of wireless network services in the Universitas Teknologi Digital Indonesia (UTDI) laboratories based on Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, namely throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter, using the TIPHON standard as a reference. The main issue addressed is the lack of measurable evaluation of laboratory network performance despite the increasing demand for connectivity to support academic activities. Network measurements were conducted over five working days during active lecture hours when network usage was relatively high. The collected data were processed in CSV format and analyzed to calculate the daily average of each QoS parameter and classify them according to TIPHON quality categories. The results indicate an average throughput of approximately 2.4 Mbps, packet loss of about 1.2%, delay values below 65 ms, and jitter around 4 ms. Based on the TIPHON standard, these results place the wireless network service quality in the UTDI laboratories within the “Good” to “Excellent” categories. These findings suggest that the laboratory wireless network is sufficiently reliable to support internet-based learning activities and online academic services. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that a structured QoS analysis workflow implemented using Google Colab provides a systematic and replicable approach for evaluating wireless network performance in educational environments.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based network monitoring application named SunSets (System Utilization Network Solution and Enhancement Technology Software) as a solution for monitoring local network infrastructure at PT Agiva Indonesia. The system implements near real-time monitoring using the SNMP protocol through periodic polling every one minute, which has been technically proven to consistently detect changes in device conditions. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach consisting of problem identification, requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. Supporting data were collected through interviews and direct observation of the company’s local network infrastructure. Testing was conducted through OrbStack simulation using Linux Ubuntu to replicate the network environment and to evaluate performance parameters such as response time, polling reliability, and user satisfaction level. The results indicate that the application achieves an average response time of 148 ms, detection accuracy of 99.1%, and polling reliability of 98.7%. User evaluation based on a Likert-scale questionnaire shows that the majority of respondents selected strongly agree and agree, indicating that the SunSets application is easy to use and effective. This study demonstrates that near real-time monitoring using the SNMP protocol can improve the reliability and performance of enterprise networks.
