Abstract

Arkhan Subari, Saiful Manan, in this paper explain that most electronic equipment is non-linear load. Likewise with the equipment in campus buildings Diploma III Faculty of Engineering. Non-linear load is a load that has a voltage waveform supplied from non sinusiodal although sinusoidal voltage. Non-sinusoidal wave causes the shape of the voltage becomes distorted or defects that result in decreased quality of power. The defect wave called harmonics. To dampen harmonics on non-linear load can be used filter. With the addition of a filter on the power system, then the waves of unwanted harmonics can be suppressed as small as possible. In addition, harmonic filter at the fundamental frequency can compensate for reactive power and is used to improve the power factor of the system. From the measurement results in the Diploma Program Campus FT Undip found that the influence of harmonic waves big enough. THDv reached 32.13% while the THDi amounted to 7.85%. It affects so cos phi cos phi measured just 0.72. After the installation of a passive filter, the value THDv and THDi be good lebik ie 1.61% and 0.39% to reach 0.94 cos phi measured. Abstract

Tiar Kusuma Dewi, Priyo Sasmoko, in paper application of programmable logic controller (PLC) omron CP1E NA20 DRA in control system of fish pellets builders engine explain that better known as PLC or Programmable Logic Controller is an electronic apparatus that works digitally , has a programmable memory , save the commands to perform specific functions such as logic , timing , counting and arithmatik to control different types of machines or processes through modules input / output analog or digital . PLC will run the display module according to the mnemonic code is entered into the PLC via the Programming Console or the CX - Programmer programs . However , here are discussed PLC using the CX - Programmer . OMRON PLC used is CP1E NA20 DRA . PLC works by observing input ( via sensors related ) , then the process and take action as needed , ie turn on or turn off the output ( logic 0 or 1 ) . Users create a program that will then be executed by the PLC in question , so that the tool Fish Pellet Machine Manufacturers Automatic will work as desired . Abstract

Didik Ariwibowo, Sutrisno, in this paper explain that this research is to increase thermal conductivity of a adsorbent bed by adding metal particles in it so that the bed become a granule-mixed bed. The adsorbent bed contains activated-carbon granule and aluminium particles. The research activity include: design and fabrication of adsorbent bed prototype following thermal performance study of the adsorbent bed. The thermal performance study of the adsorbent bed was conducted by varying metal/adsorbent ratio of 5%, 10%, 15% by volume. The result showed that adding 5%, 10%, and 15% aluminium particles into adsorbent bed has increased its thermal conductivity, those are 10,9 Wm-1K-1; 21,9 Wm-1K-1; and 30,9  Wm-1K-1 respectively from 1,6 Wm-1K-1 activated carbon thermal conductivity. The values of experimental thermal conductivity were higher than those of calculated thermal conductivity. The percentage of the difference between experimental thermal conductivity and calculated thermal conductivity decreased as bed surface temperature increased. The relatively higher percentage was in 45% whereas the lower was 10%. The lower range of the difference was 10-20% occurred in 55-65 oC temperature range. Abstract

Enny, in this paper explain that many mobile phone users around the us, but only a portion of the concerned about the dangers of cell phones. This paper was compiled to determine the impact and solutions of cell phone radiation. Mobile phones emit electromagnetic waves which will affect the surrounding environment. Based on existing information, cell phone radiation is thought to cause cancer. Waves emitted from mobile phones over the air is causing electromagnetic radiation. Potential disrubtion of health consequences of radiation electromagnetic field has become an issue which examined till now, so found a variety of health disorders as a result of mobile phone users that includes the impact of mild and severe impact. Experts have discovered some efforts to minimize the effects of cell phone radiation on health of mobile phone users. Every user should know the dangers of mobile phone users. Radiation caused cell phone not only arise when used, but when putting a cell phone in your Pocket can also be exposed to any radiation. Therefore, mobile users need to know how to use a cell phone. Users should pay attention to the level of radiation caused by cell phones, so that the influence of electromagnetic radiation on health can be scaled down for mobile users. Abstract

Yuniarto, in this paper explain that the utility of high transmission line result in the transient over voltage in transmission-line will also increasingly higher, mainly for lightning and switching surge. Switching surge is a dominant factor to show up much transient over voltage in the transmission-line in the level of 230 kV or higher, if it is compared with lightning surge.  Switching surge is caused by single energized process, the process itself to energize a transmission line in no load condition with energy power through switch closure operation. The research was aiming at observing the influence of transmission-line length to transient over voltage that occurred at the energized process in 500 kV transmission line Ungaran-Pedan, which used EMTP (Electromagnetic Transients Program) to simulate it.  The result of simulation showed that the transient over voltage occurred along the transmission-line which caused the higher voltage increase, providing that the line is also longer. Abstract

Sutanto, in this paper explain that line of Balance is a variation of the linear scheduling method that allows the operating balance so that all activities can continue. In the various International leteratur usually shown as Line of Balance scheduling tool that is only suitable for the project - a project that is composed of repetitive activities, and is not suitable for non-repetitive projects. Network method is introduced towards the end of the 1950s by a team of engineers and mathematicians from Dupont company is working with the Rand Corporation, in an effort to develop a management control system. These systems are intended to plan and control a large number of which have a complex dependency relationship in the construction of engineering design problems and maintenance. Businesses - emphasized efforts to seek methods to minimize the costs, in conjunction with the completion of a period of activity. The system was then known as the critical path method (Critical Path Method/CPM). Research application method Line of Balance (LOB) and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling activities in residential construction and the impact on the field of technical constraints is one solution . Conclusions obtained from the results of the research, the use of residential construction projects activities scheduling with Line of Balance method combined with the Critical Path Method method would have added value. Abstract

Retno Hartati, Edy Supriyo, Muhammad Zainuri, in this paper explain that many salt industry is currently undergoing a inefficiencies process in the production system. Declining quality of salt from the salt ponds and lack of homogeneity in the iodine content of salt briquettes and much KIO3 wasted. So it is necessary to increase the iodine levels in salt. This activity aims to design, create and test a iodized salt machine with a capacity of 1-2 tons per hour and perform quality control on products. Community service activities have been successfully implemented by creating iodized salt machine. The process is done by means of iodized salt machine in the salt product becomes higher and meet ISO standards, in which prior to iodized salt machine the content of KIO3 is 0 ppm and become 50 ppm after using KIO3. Abstract

Dyah Palupi Utami, Subali, in this paper explain that information security is a very important thing, therefore we need a system that can identify the users who will be accessing an information system security. SCADA stands for Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition meaningful data acquisition and supervisory control according to the indication. SCADA is not a complete control system, but more focused on the level of supervision. Thus, SCADA is a software package that is positioned to hardware connected to the system, generally through a microcontroller. PIR sensors and touch sensors. Where the sensor will detect the presence of human presence and sends a signal to the microcontroller. Indicator lights and an alarm will sound. The microcontroller will send a signal to the PC. In this study, applied in the security tower using a computer to pengkontrolan system as well as a display monitor and a monitoring system security information on this tool. Safety and time efficiency into consideration in making this tool, where the use of an identification system is needed. Abstract

Wahyu Adi Prasetiyo, Heru Winarno, in this paper explain that with the SCADA system delivery and processing of data from substation equipment consisting of equipment protection, control and measurement becomes faster known by the operator (dispatcher). Measurement and status information indicative of the electric power system are collected in RTU is placed in the substation (GI) which is then sent to the SCADA Master Station.Kinerjasistem dipengaruhiolehpopulasigangguan happened. The more the population of nuisance, then it will significantly reduce the level of reliability of the distribution network which is under the control of the SCADA system. SCADA interference in the distribution of electrical power distribution systems 20 kV affect the level of reliability of the distribution network. Especially if the disturbance of the telecontrol Circuit Breaker. To repair SCADA telecontrol especially the disruption of the necessary investigative trials open close CB, but in emergency situations CB load shedding can not be done with the many considerations. Simulator cubicles with Circuit Breaker Dummy serves to replace the function of the actual CB in order to do the test cubicles control of SCADA without load shedding. By removing the SCADA communication in cubicles and then move it to the CB Dummy testing/investigation disorder can be performed optimally. This tool is equipped with IED Digital Meter Relay Protection and SCADA based so that in addition to the investigation failed control can also be used for investigations and telesignal telemetering disorders.
