Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif. Media pembelajaran adalah sesuatu yang diperlukan pada proses pembelajaran karena dapat memberikan gambaran fakta dari materi matematika yang diajarkan, khususnya pada materi unsur-unsur aljabar yang pengaplikasiannya berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran berbantuan Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII E dan VII D SMP Al Furqon MQ Tebuireng-Jombang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar tes hasil belajar materi unsur-unsur aljabar. Uji validitas instrumen pada penelitian ini yaitu melalui validasi ahli. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana yang meliputi uji statistik parametrik menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, serta uji statistik nonparametrik melalui uji Mann-Withney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) = 0,154 > α = 0,05. Itu berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan hasi belajar yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh media pembelajaran berbantuan Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of Student Worksheets on students' mathematical understanding abilities. The research subject is a private university in East Jakarta. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively. The statistical test used was the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Z test for the normality test with the test results not being normally distributed. Meanwhile, for the average difference test, the Mann-Whitney non-parametric test was used with the test results that there were differences in results between the experimental class and the control class, then for the average, variance and range of the experimental class, namely 87.57; 196.14 and 40. Meanwhile, the average, variance and range of the control class were 79.29 ; 335,513 and 60. From this it can be seen that the average of the experimental class is higher than the control class, and the variance and range of the experimental class is smaller than the control class, this means that the experimental class is more homogeneous than the control class so it can be concluded that the students' mathematical understanding ability learning using the LKM is more effective than students who learn without using the LKM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematika siswa berdasarkan kemampuan siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah tiga siswa kelas 5 SD di Sampangan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Mereka dipilih dari 30 siswa yang memiliki kemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi mampu menggunakan representasi visual, simbolik dan verbal. Siswa dengan kemampuan sedang mampu menggunakan representasi visual dan simbolik namun kurang mampu menggunakan representasi verbal. Siswa yang berkemampuan rendah, tidak mampu menggunakan  representasi baik dalam bentuk visual, simbolik maupun verbal. Kemampuan melakukan representasi verbal disebabkan karena representasi ini jarang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

 In the era of globalization in the world of education, it is necessary to consider things in facing the challenges of today's world of education. The world of education is growing as the information age advances sharply. Therefore, education is very important to pay attention to for the development of the nation as an effort to increase human resources who excel in improving the welfare of the nation. One of the cases found in the field is the obstacle for SMK students to master the matrix material. The research method used is experiment. Where will be selected randomly and then compared the learning outcomes of the experimental class with the PQ4R method with the control class with conventional learning using Control Group Design. The research was conducted at a Vocational High School in Bekasi, namely SMK Bina Insan Kamil with 30 students as respondents in the Experiment class and 30 students as respondents in the control class. The sample in this study was taken by cluster random sampling technique. This study gives the result that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of mathematics between students who are taught using the PQ4R learning method and students who are taught using conventional learning methods. Looking further, it can be said that the results of learning mathematics in students who are taught by the PQ4R learning method are better than the results of students who are taught by conventional learning methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Santo Don Bosco Manokwari berdasarkan kriteria Krulik dan Rudnick pada materi aritmetika sosial mengenai keuntungan dan kerugian. Metode penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif. Prosedur penelitian ini mulai dari penentuan indikator, pengembangan istrumen tes, pengembangan pedoman wawancara, penentuan subjek, pemberian tes, pengambilan data dan wawancara. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada kelas VIII SMP Santo Don Bosco berdasarkan kriteria Krulik dan Rudnick dikategorikan kedalam tiga kelompok yaitu siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika tinggi, sedang dan rendah

Abstract

Selama ini Universitas Banten Jaya menerapkan pengukuran karya ilmiah mahasiswa melalui pengujian baik berupa seminar atau siding skripsi saja, namun belum ada penilaian kinerja penelitian mahasiswa yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja penelitian mahasiswa dari tahun 2019-2020 di Unversitas Banten Jaya dengan menggunakan data mining algoritma Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) untuk membentuk tabel probabilitas sebagai dasar proses klasifikasi kinerja penelitian mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil klasifikasi NBC pada tools weka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa metode NBC berhasil mengklasifikasikan 50 data dari 64 data yang diuji. Sehingga metode NBC berhasil memprediksi artikel mahasiswa yang sudah terpublish dengan presentase akurasi sebesar 78,125% sementara presentase untuk incorrectly classified instances sebesar 21,875%.

Abstract

Mathematics can be combined with Technology in the field of Information Systems because of its similarities to thinking with logic. This combination is applied in discussing Set Theory by creating Android-based applications using the Kotlin programming language.  The application development stage uses the Waterfall type SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) so that each stage is carried out properly and performs testing by making several simulations so that each calculation produces the correct value.  The output of the research results in an Android-based Set Theory calculator application with accurate calculations.
