Abstract

Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital (RSMS) is a Hospital in Purwokerto that developed an innovation of a hospital information system called RSMS Online to improve their health services to patients. The objective of this study was to determine the communication strategy in the implementation of RSMS Online. A theoretical approach from the diffusion of innovation and communication planning was used to determine pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation stages. This research used a single case study method. The data was collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The results revealed that the communication strategy in implementing RSMS online consists of three stages: pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation. The implementation of RSMS Online provides benefits for patients and the RSMS Hospital. The supporting factors that reinforce the implementation of RSMS Online are the commitment of all employees, human resource skills, technology and information support, provision of information facilities and public computer equipment, and access to internet networks. Meanwhile, the diversity of patient backgrounds and limitations of patients who have devices to access the online system and internet quota are the barriers that impede the implementation of RSMS Online. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relative value of the job level at CV SBM as the basis for determining wages or salaries. Data analysis was performed based on cases that occurred in CV SBM. The key informants were all employees holding a minimum position as a cashier at CV SBM to obtain information concerning job descriptions and job specifications. Meanwhile, the director provided information related to factors and sub-factors for the compensation, including the weights. Data were analyzed at the job evaluation stage, from job analysis to grouping positions according to job class. The study results found that the relative job value for director positions was 1000 points, the supervisor was 761 points, the head of inventory was 599 points, the head of finance was 560 points, the cashier was 384 points, and the counter staff was 369. Wage levels were divided into three classes, i.e., the first class consisted of the cashier, counter staff, and head of finance; the second class consisted of the head of inventory and supervisor; and the third class consisted of the director. Based on these findings, the remuneration will be arranged according to the class of position. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of store layout, interior display, human, and cleanliness on customer shopping orientation at Gajahmada restaurant in Kabupaten Batang. The sampling method used was accidental sampling. The data analysis method adopted in this study was multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the store layout variable has a negative and insignificant effect on the customer shopping orientation (β = -0.046 and Sig. = 0.634). Meanwhile, the interior display variable was found to positively and significantly affect the customer shopping orientation indicated by the value of β = 0.266 and Sig. = 0.003. The impact of the human variable on the customer shopping orientation also demonstrated a positive and significant impact (β = 0.346 and Sig. = 0.000). The cleanliness variable was found to positively and significantly influence customer shopping orientation (β = 0.320 and Sig. = 0.000). Furthermore, the multiple regression analysis results also indicated that all independent variables, which were store layout, interior display, human, and cleanliness, simultaneously affect the customer shopping orientation proved by the value of F= 32.929 and Sig. = 0.000. Abstract

Bottled mineral water is a product that has experienced rapid development since decades ago. The human need for drinking water has influenced many companies in establishing the bottled mineral water industry. Al Qodiri is one of the companies engaged in the bottled mineral water industry. The development of the bottled mineral water industry currently has impacts on the environment. Global warming is the main effect of plastic bottle waste that cannot be decomposed for hundreds of years. This study proposes the packaging improvement of Al Qodiri bottled mineral water (600 ml) based on customer needs, environmentally friendly, and economical cost. The data analysis method applied in this study was the Green Quality Function Deployment-II. The sampling methods used in this study were non-probability sampling and convenience sampling techniques. The results showed that Al Qodiri bottled mineral water products need to redesign their packaging and use recycled PET as new raw materials for packaging. Therefore, the raw material costs will be reduced by Rp 72,000 every day and Rp 26,280,000 every year. Keywords: Green QFD-II, customer needs, green packaging, quality

Abstract

Generation Z is currently entering the workforce and is the youngest generation, and most of them work in an e-commerce company. E-commerce is synonymous with competitive culture, and many demands to be independent and proactive in their work. That situation is a challenge for generation z, which if they cannot handle it properly, it will become a stress in itself, which over time can become burnout. This study aimed to determine the influence of organizational culture and employee engagement on job burnout and examine the factors that influence stress in the workplace. In this research, the approach method was used by distributing questionnaires filled out by 180 respondents who are Generation Z. The responses were analyzed using multiple linear regression. These results indicated a significant effect between employee engagement and job burnout. Meanwhile, the effect of organizational culture on job burnout was insignificant. This research also found that about 56% of the respondents experienced a moderate level of job burnout. Keywords: e-commerce, employee engagement, generation z, job burnout, organizational culture

Abstract

The objective of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of financial literacy, financial management learning, and overconfidence on the investment behaviour of students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Surabaya. The sample consisted of 73 respondents taken by using the purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that, simultaneously, financial literacy, financial management learning, and overconfidence had a significant effect on the investment behaviour of students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Surabaya. Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the potential for bankruptcy of four cigarette companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2018 period using the Altman Z-Score method. The data used in the research were secondary data sourced from the financial statements of four companies taken using the purposive sampling method. The results indicated that, in 2018, one company went bankrupt, i.e., PT Bentoel International Investama Tbk. Meanwhile, the other three companies, i.e., PT Gudang Garam Tbk, PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna, and PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk, were categorized in a healthy condition. These results can be used as an early warning for investors in making safe investment decisions. As for companies that are predicted to go bankrupt, they can immediately find the right solution to improve their performance. Keywords: bankcuptcy, company share, financial ratio, Z-score
