Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Population of the research is all customers of conventional banks in Situbondo. Purposive sampling method was used with the sample consisted of 115 respondents. Results of path analysis test showed that physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, empathy, assurance, and customer satisfaction had significant effect on customer loyalty. Abstract

Abstract:The purpose ofthis study was to examine the effect of city branding on city image, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty in Ambon City. The population was the domestic and foreign tourists who visited tourism spots in Ambon. Sampling method used was purposive sampling with a sample size of 160 respondents. The analysis too lused was Stuctural Equation Modelling. Results showed that there was a significant effect of city branding on city Image, city branding on customer satisfaction, city branding on customer loyalty, city image on customer satisfaction, city image on customer loyalty, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in Ambon City. Abstract

Abstract: This study is aimed to analyze the effect of leadership, work environment,and reward on the employee’s performance at Perum Pegadaian Besuki. The population was all employees of Perum Pegadaian Besuki. The samples were consisted of32 respondents. Multiple linear regression was employed as the method of analysis. The results show that leadership has positive and significant effecton employee performance, work environment has positive and significant effect on employee performance, reward has positive and significant effect on employee performance,and leadership, work environment, and reward have positive and significant effect on employee performance of Perum Pegadaian Besuki. Abstrak: Research titled Influence Situational leadership style, Compensation, Environmental Working towards Motivation and Job Satisfaction on the Market Office of Jember Regency aims to analyze and determine the effect of Situational Leadership styles, Compensation, Environmental Working towards Motivation and Job Satisfaction on Market Agency. The population in this study were all employees at the Department of Revenue Lumajang. The research sample of 50 respondents, the method of accidental sampling. To know and analyze the influence of leadership style Situational, Compensation, Environmental Working towards motivation and job satisfaction of employees at the Market Office Jember while the method of analysis in this study were Path Analysis (Path Analysis) and the results of this study are variable leadership style Situational (X1) , Compensation (X2) and the Working Environment (X3) was significantly to variable Motivation (Z) and variable leadership style Situational (X1), compensation (X2) and the Working Environment (X3) was significantly to variable job satisfaction (Y), and Motivation ( Z) significant effect on job satisfaction (Y). With the research is expected to provide additional insight into the benefits of the development of science and consideration, contribute ideas or useful information for the Department of Revenue Lumajang for decision making. Abstract

Abstract: This reserach aims to analyze the ability of financial ratios in predicting financial distress. It was a quantitative research using logistic regression model to analyze the ability of current ratio, return on assets, total assets turn over, and debt to assets ratio in predicting companies financial distress. The population of this research were the basic industry and chemical companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. 52 companies satisfy the criteria. Sample were divided into two groups, 19 potentially financial distress companies and 33 not potentially financial distress companies. Result indicates that current ratio, return on assets, and debt to assets ratio acted as predictor of financial distress, while total assets turn over could not predict financial distress. Current ratio and return on assets have negative significant impact on predicting financial distress. Debt to assets ratio have positive significant impact on predicting financial distress.Keywords: Financial distress, Financial ratios, Logistic regression, Net profit

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work-family conflict on service performance and organizational commitment through fatigue on the staff of Teaching Staff in the Academic Department of Jember University. This research was conducted at the University of Jember with a population of 167 employees of Education Personnel in the Academic section and a number of students from each faculty. The sampling techniques used are purposive sampling for the employee and accidental sampling for the student respondents. So the sample collected were 82 employees and 82 students. Analytical techniques using Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Result of this research: (1) there is no influence between work-family conflict on service performance and organizational commitment directly; (2) but there is an influence between work-family conflict on performance and organizational commitment indirectly through fatigue. So it can be concluded that fatigue is a perfect mediation variable.Keywords: Work-family Conflict, Fatigue, Service Performance, and Organizational Commitment

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the effect of budget participation on managerial performance with organizational commitment and motivation as the intervening variables. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to structural officials of the Government of Bondowoso Regency. The collected data were then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results showed that budget participation has significant and positive effect on managerial performance. Budget participation also has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment and motivation. Results of the research also demonstrate that organizational commitment and motivation have positive and significant effects on managerial performance. Budget participation also affects managerial performance through organizational commitment and motivation. Abstract

Abstract: The performance assessment conducted by the government institutions listed in the Performance Accountability Report of Government Institution (LAKIP) is merely described from the financial perspective. Meanwhile, the main focus of the government organizations is not the financial objective, but its customers, i.e., the community and the central government. This research analyzes financial and non-financial performance assessment of the Family Planning Office in Situbondo Regency by applying the balanced scorecard approach (descriptive analysis method). Data were analyzed following Miles and Huberman’s recommendation: data reduction, data display, and deduction and verification using the triangulation techniques to check data validity. Results show that from the financial perspective, by applying Accrual Financial Information System (SIRKA) the finances can be managed easily, quickly, and precisely. From the customer perspective, the family planning service is in line with customers' expectations based on interview results with several program acceptors in 2015. From the internal business perspective, the performance also has a good achievement. Meanwhile from the growth and learning perspective, the lack of HR personnel inhibits the program implementation that can be overcome by increasing the role of the program’s local assistant (PPKBD) in the villages in Situbondo. Abstract

Abstract: Performance measurement is critical for public sector organizations to determine the sucess level in implementing strategies to achieve its vision and mission. Therefore, an analytical tool is needed to measure government performance and to provide comprehensive information from both financial and non-financial aspects. The use of balanced scorecard as the measurement method could broaden the perspective, not only from the financial perspective, but also from the customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth perspectives. The objective of this study was to analyze the performance of the Department of Marine and Fisheries of Situbondo Regency in 2015 using a balanced scorecard approach. This was a descriptive qualitative research applying a case study. The informants were the local people and staffs of the Department of Marine and Fisheries of Situbondo Regency. Value for money analysis was used in measuring financial perspective and service quality (servqual), while Important Performance Analysis (IPA) used in measuring other perspectives. Conclusion was drawn based on the scoring results. Results showed that, in overall, the performance of the Department of Marine and Fisheries of Situbondo Regency was in “good” category. Results of servqual analysis showed that all aspects had negative values, meaning that the expectations were higher than perceptions so the performance should be improved based on the priorities indicated in the IPA analysis. Abstract

financial performance in Jember Regency. In specific, this study analyzes the influence of capital expenditure and Village Fund Allocation (ADD), as the components of Village Government Budget (APBDes), on village financial performance in terms of its effectiveness and efficiency. This study used secondary data in the form of Realization Reports of APBDes that were collected from the 53 villages for the period of 2015-2016. Data were analyzed using path analysis. Results of the study indicate that capital expenditure and ADD have no influences on the independence of village financial performance, capital expenditure has a negative effect on the effectiveness of village financial performance, while ADD and the independence of village financial performance have no significant effects on the effectiveness of village financial performance. In terms of efficiency, capital expenditure has a negative effect on village financial performance, while ADD has a positive effect on village financial performance. Village financial independence has no effect on the efficiency of village financial performance.
