Abstract

The Objective of this research would be to know the effect of celebrityendorser, Agnes Monica, on brand image formation of Honda Vario for student indepartment of management, North Sumatra University. The method of analysisused are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The result of researchindicated that, through descriptive analysis result, it could be seen that almost allstudent agreed that Agnes Monica could form a brand image of Honda Vario. Butthrought multiple linear regression, the result of research indicated that thepositive and significant effects were from variables of visibility, credibility,attraction and power on brand image, based on t-test, variable of power was themost dominant variable in forming the brand image.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing mix variables (product,price, promotion, place, people, processes, and physical evidence) todifferentiate the consumer's decision to buy or not buy Harian Pagi RadarJember. More over, the study also analyze which marketing mix variables thatinfluence the most dominant of the consumer decision to buy or not buyHarian Pagi Radar Jember. The population in this study is the people who buyHarian Pagi Radar Jember and sample was selected based on purposiverandom sampling. Discriminant analysis results the are differences betweenconsumer’s want and do not want to buy Harian Pagi Radar Jember. Morespecifically amongthe marketing mix factors the most dominant influence onthe decision to buy or not buy the Harian Pagi Radar Jember, is a factorprocess that represented by the variable ordering media. The seconddominant factor is a people service that represented by the variable ofemployee’s knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are : (1) to analyze the influence of financialperformance against IOS of growing company and ungrowing company, (2) toanalyze the influence of the financial performance of the IOS of growing in crisisand recovery crisis, (3) to analyze influence the financial performance ofungrowing companies on IOS in crisis and post crisis period.This study uses theparadigm of positive quantitative analysis by using common factor analysis (CFA)and multiple regression analysis. The first results show that there are differences inthe influence of financial performance against IOS of growing and ungrowingcompanies. The second result shows that there are differeness influence offinancial performance of growing company IOS in crisis and post-crisis conditions.And the third results found that there is no significant differences influence thefinancial performance of ungrowing companies IOS on the crisis and post-crisisperiod.

Abstract

This research analyzes capital structure of Property Company andseveral factors that influence it on go public property. Several factors thatinfluence capital structure in this research are interest rates, exchange rates andtrading volume of property stock only. Population of this research are go publicproperty companies at Indonesia Stock Exchange, they are 49 companies researchsample has been 36 companies, sample determination considers purposivesampling while research data analysis utilizes. Data analyze in this research isregresion analysis. The results show several finding, that all variable havesignificance influence to capital structure. While partial analysis only the exchangerates have significance to capital structure.

Abstract

Particular characteristics will influence individual behavior, both on dailyor job behavior. Individual characteristics can be described by: biographic,personality, perception and attitude. This research was a study about women laborin GMIT tobacco warehouse at Sub District of Panti District of Jember,to know:(1) characteristics; (2) performance and;(3) there was or was not correlationbetween characteristics and performance of women labor. The result were: (1) thecharacteristics of women labor were: 52,8% of them were 16-18 years and 47,2%of them were 19-55 years; 70% were ungraduate from primary school; 82,5%worked for family extra income; 80,02% were married and to fight for family extraincome; 86,68% have husband who worked as labor too; 73,36% have perceptionthat worked as a labor at warehouse more precious than at farm; 50% feelstatisfied in high category and 50% feel statisfied in middle category on routinewages; but on over time work wages 59,94% labor feel unstatisfied and only40,06% feel statisfied in middle category;86,68% labor feel statisfied in middlecategory on general work place condition; (2) performance women labor attobacco warehose were 50% on very high catagory and 50% on high catagory;Just age that had correlation on performance of women labor, although weak butsignificant statistically. The other characteristics also had weak correlatin but notsignificant, even general work place condition had no correlation at all and notsignifikan statistically.

Abstract

Price earnings ratios (PER) is used to evaluate the fair value of stock.The reason is that PER could help the analysts to make judgement on importantvariables. This research is meant to determine whether PER could be used toevaluate the fair value of stock. This value is determined by growth rate of earning(GE) and systematic risk (β) capabilities to clarify PER change and whether thevaluation model could be used as security selection. The taken samples were 30(thirty) stocks of The Indonesian Stock Exchange. The result of the valuationmodel is simultaneously the growth rate of earning and systematic risk couldexplain the PER change about 26,6%. The classical assumption test describes thatthe cross-sectional regression is BLUE (Best Linear Unbiased Estimator). Thevaluation model is highly successfull to determine stock price change, but thismodel is much less successfull to select which one of the stock is bought or sold(security selection).Keywords:

Abstract

The research uses to the management economics approach, especiallyservice marketing management and its methods are survey by using cross sectiondata. Unit analysis in the research is customer at star hotel in Daerah IstimewaYogyakarta (DIY). Data will be obtained by spreading questionnaires and directinterview with 300 respondents. The research samples are 12 stars hotel in DIYwhich are stated by using systematic sampling. Data will be analyzed by usingImportance-Performance Analysis. The result of research shows customer have notmaximum satisfaction at stars hotel in DIY. This indicated higher customerexpectations for personal contact, supporting the physical facilities and equipmentcompared to the performance perceived by customers
