Abstract

Some parts of the coast of Padang City are found to have brackish ground water whose distribution is getting wider. The purpose of this study is to map the distribution of sea water intrusion in the District of North Padang. Intrusion distribution is mapped based on the value of electrical conductivity (DHL) with the criteria for the level of salinity as determined by Simoen (2000: 23). Sampling was carried out in three villages in the North Padang Subdistrict namely Air Tawar Barat Subdistrict, Ulak Karang Utara and Ulak Karang Selatan with a purposive random sampling technique or random samples as needed, namely 30 samples of residents' well water using EC Meters to measure electrical conductivity and GPS to determine the coordinates of the location of research samples. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The results showed that there were wells that were indicated to have experienced sea water intrusion along the coast of North Padang District, which was about 16.6% of the 30 samples tested in the field with four points entered into the classification of brackish water with an Electrical Conductivity value of 832-874 (µmhos / cm) and one point included in the classification of salt water with an Electrical Conductivity value of 3686 (µmhos / cm). Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the physical and social characteristics of the Tigo Luhah Kemantan Customary Forest and to know the community's efforts in the use of the Tigo Luhah Customary Forest in the Kemantan Village, Airangat Timur District, Kerinci Regency. The research method used in this study is the combined method (Mixed Method). Research informants numbered 10 people. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results showed that (1) physical characteristics of the Tigo Luhah Kemantan customary forest have a climate that is affected by monsoons, ultisol and podsolic soil types, the slope of the Tigo Luhah Kemantan customary forest is 15-45%. Land use is protected forest and forest production, the function of the area is a buffer zone and annual crop cultivation, (2) Utilization system in the management of the Tigo Luhah Kemantan Indigenous Forest in the form of division of 3 zones differentiated by cultivators and land type categories where there is division of farmer groups, management in the form of rules, prohibitions, customary sanctions, and wood flowers, (3) The efforts of the people of Kemantan Village to preserve forest utilization are reforestation, planting felling, selective logging and complying with applicable rules and prohibitions. Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to analyze student learning activities, constraints faced by teachers and efforts made by teachers in developing student learning activities in learning Geography of material conditions and Indonesia's strategic position as the world's maritime axis. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS. Sampling using Purposive Sampling technique with selected sample results are class XI IPS 3 and class XI IPS 4. The results of this study indicate that learning activities in class XI IPS 3 and XI IPS 4 SMAN 1 Batang Anai material on regional conditions and Indonesia's strategic position as the axis world maritime is still categorized as MOTS (Middle Order Thinking Skill). Based on the research results obtained 23% - 35.3% of students in class XI IPS 3 and 24% - 33% of students in class XI IPS 4 who carry out basic learning activities (ABD) as a whole with enthusiasm and consistency, and there are 9% - 35% of class XI IPS 3 students and 3% -30% of class XI IPS 4 who carry out advanced learning activities (ABL) as a whole are enthusiastic and consistent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis prediksi jumlah penduduk, besarnya total kebutuhan air bersih, dan apakah ketersediaan debit air produksi sekarang dapat mencukupi kebutuhan air bersih Unit Kubung tahun 2018-2027. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitaf. Metode analisis data adalah metode geometrik dengan menghitung prediksi jumlah penduduk dan metode analisis kebutuhan air bersih untuk menghitung prediksi kebutuhan air bersih wilayah pelayanan Unit Kubung tahun 2018-2027. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Prediksi jumlah penduduk daerah pelayanan Unit Kubung tahun 2018 sebanyak 36.321 jiwa dengan jumlah pelanggan pelanggan rumah tangga 2.429 SR, niaga 58 unit, kantor 58 unit, sosial 28 unit, dan kran umum 7 unit. Sedangkan untuk tahun 2027 diprediksikan jumlah penduduk sebanyak 39.512 jiwa dengan jumlah pelanggan rumah tangga 4.493 SR, niaga 531 unit, kantor 61 unit, sosial 90 unit, kran umum 17 unit. 2) Total kebutuhan air bersih Unit Kubung tahun 2018 untuk jumlah penduduk sebesar 53,16 L/d dan jenis pelanggan sebesar 19,91 L/d. Sedangkan tahun 2027 untuk jumlah penduduk sebesar 57,84 L/d, dan jenis pelanggan sebesar 45,14 L/d. 3) Debit air produksi pada tahun 2018 hingga 2023 masih mencukupi untuk seluruh pelanggan. Apabila dengan debit yang sama pada tahun 2024-2027 sudah tidak mencukupi untuk seluruh pelanggan sesuai prediksi.

Abstract

Abstract Facing the Qiblah is a valid condition of prayer based on the agreement (ijma ') of the scholars. the direction of the Qibla with a difference of 1o will cause a shift of about 145 km to the north or south of the Ka'bah. Based on this, the accuracy of the Qibla direction is very important because facing the Qibla is a legitimate condition for prayer. This study aims to determine the method and level of Qibla direction accuracy in IV Jurai sub-district. This type of research is quantitative with the research subject being a mosque in Subdistrict IV Jurai with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling, sampling mosques built under 2010. Data collection is carried out directly in the field using a brunton geological compass measuring instrument and questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the spherical trigonometry formula, while the percentage uses descriptive analysis. The results showed (1) the determination of the Qibla direction in the IV Jurai sub-district in general using a method based on the opinion of scholars, based on the direction of the sun and rising, aiming west, based on the northwest direction, using the Qibla compass, based on the direction of the old mosque, and compass by Ministry of Religion (2) Accuracy of Qibla direction of mosques in IV Jurai sub-district, 12% accurate, 15% tolerated, 73% inaccurate. Suggestions that can be conveyed in connection with the results of research on mosque administrators for mosques whose direction of qibla is not appropriate are recommended to shift the direction of the prayer mat towards the right qibla. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana sebaran banjir rob berdampak terhadap ekonomi masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menganalisa data spasial sebaran banjir rob dan least squareuntuk analisis data pasang surut.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan lahan yang paling banyak tergenang banjir rob dengan kenaikan 1m – 3m adalah kawasan perkebunan seluas 15,72 ha – 30,51 ha. Sedangkan jarak terjauh yang digenangi oleh banjir rob dengan kenaikan 1m – 3m yaitu 796,35m – 895,44m yaitu berada di Nagari Surantih Kecamatan Sutera Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Kemudian, banjir rob juga menyebabkan adanya pengaruh perubahan pendapatan masyarakat yaitu sebesar 64% dari total responden. Masyarakat yang paling terdampak oleh banjir rob adalah masyarakat yang bermata pencaharian sebagai nelayan, petani, dan pedagang yaitu berupa menurunnya pendapatan, kerusakan bangunan, kerusakan lahan pertanian, kerusakan lahan perkebunan, kerusakan lahan sawah, dan kerusakan tanah. Abstract

This research was conducted in Tanah Datar District which aims to determine the suitability of Robusta coffee plantations and the direction of the development of Robusta coffee plant suitability. The method used is a descriptive approach with quantitative research and the data used are secondary data with data processing using fuzzy logic and Boolean logic. The results of this study indicate that the suitability of class Robusta coffee plants is not suitable with an area of ​​6,661 hectares covering X Koto Subdistrict, Sungai Tarab, Pariangan, Sungayang and Lintau Buo Utara. The appropriate class has an area of ​​74,175 Ha. Classes are very suitable covering an area of ​​50,672 hectares including Rambatan, Padang Ganting, Tanjung Emas, Lintau Buo Utara, Lintau Buo and Batipuh. Development directions that are not suitable for robusta coffee are 84,923.58 hectares, Lintau Buo Utara, X Koto, Batipuh Selatan, Tanjung Emas, Pariangan, Sungayang, Sungai Tarab, and Batipuh. The appropriate development direction has an area of ​​46,586.06 Ha, which is dominantly located in Lintau Buo Subdistrict with an area of ​​7,942.44 Ha following the Lintau Buo Utara Subdistrict, 7,149.18 Ha, Rambatan 6,611.04 Ha, Tanjung Emas 4,220.82 Ha and X Koto Subdistrict 3,602.68 Ha.
