Abstract

This study uses an ex post facto design with the aim of knowing the interaction between the independent variables (mathematical disposition and learning independence) as a determinant of the dependent variable (learning outcomes). The sample of this study was 32 elementary school students. The data was taken through a questionnaire method and a written test. Data analysis through two-way ANOVA test with interaction factors. The results showed that was an interaction between the independent variables (mathematical disposition and learning independence) on the dependent variable (learning outcomes) with a significance level of 0.05. So it can be concluded that the interaction between mathematical disposition and learning independence is a determining factor in the mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students in distance learning.

Abstract

Mathematical understanding is shaped from how college students can assemble a that means this is being studied in order that understanding isn't simplest shaped from memorizing mathematical formulas. In this examine, the RME method became verified to permit college students to find mathematical thoughts primarily based totally on contextual problems. The motive of this examine became to decide the impact of the RME method on college students' reasoning competencies on the flat form area. A quantitative method became decided on to chatter the type of pre-experimental studies with one institution pretest-posttest design. The populace of this examine became the fourth-grade college students of SD Muhammadiyah 3 Assalam Malang with a complete of sixteen college students. The pattern taken became the entire of the populace the usage of a chance sampling technique. Data series used for this examine blanketed checks and documentation. The outcomes of this examine were received from the T-Test via the SPSS model 17 that confirmed the cost in the Sig. (2-tailed) the desk of 0.one hundred fifty wherein the cost became > 0.05 in order that H1 became accepted. Analysis of the check supplied via a graph additionally indicated that the RME method had a considerable impact on college students' reasoning competencies. This became evidenced through the outcomes of the common pretest rating of 79.38 even as the common posttest rating of 84.38 became projected. Therefore, the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) method had a considerable impact on college students' reasoning cappotential in grade IV standard School.

Abstract

In addition to existing textbooks, student learning activities can be helped by the development of learning media that are expected to help overcome students learning difficulties, especially in math learning. This research aims to analyze the need for media that can be used in the process of learning mathematics to facilitate the understanding of materials by students. The subjects in this study were a teacher and all grade 5th students of SDN 2 Mojorembun, 16 students. Interview and questionnaire techniques are used to obtain and collect data about the learning media needs. The study results obtained an average percentage of 82.1%, which showed a need for continuous development of the need for more practical, engaging, complete learning media for solid figure material with character strengthening. So, it can be concluded that students need to develop learning media about solid figure material with character strengthening.
