Abstract

UD XYZ merupakan salah satu UKM yang bergerak di bidang konveksi sarung tenun dan sarung tenun sutra. UKM ini sudah berdiri sejak tahun 1999. Pengendalian kualitas yang dilakukan saat ini masih kurang maksimal, sehingga masih sering ditemukan produk yang kurang sesuai dengan kualitas yang telah ditentukan. QCC (quality control circle) adalah metode yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan suatu kualitas produk dan dapat mengurangi jumlah produk yang mengalami cacat. Setelah di lakukan pengamatan pada proses QCC ( quality control circle ) di dapatkan 4 jenis cacat yang terjadi di UD XYZ yaitu kembangan hilang, warna pudar, kain berlubang dan pakan tidak teranyam. Berdasarkan diagram pareto didapatkan jumlah cacat terbesar yaitu kembangan hilang sebesar 33,2%, warna pudar sebesar 26,8%. Berdasarkan analisis  Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) didapatkan Risk Priority Number (RPN) dengan prioritas pertama yakni dari faktor manusia dengan penyebab skill operator yang kurang terampil, rangking prioritas kedua dari faktor lingkungan dengan penyebab masalah pencahayaan yang kurang dan rangking prioritas ketiga yakni faktor manusia dengan penyebab operator kurang teliti dan fokus.

Abstract

The company's activities engaged in the oil and gas exploration and processing have many potential risks of work accidents in their business processes. Therefore, management and evaluation of risk management need to be carried out related to work activities. Especially those that have close proximity to methane gas as a combustible gas, and H2S gas as a toxic gas. The research was conducted in five divisions/departments in QATAR Oil Gas Company such as instrument, electrical, civil, mechanical, production and civil divisions. Each activity has a different level of risk, so it is required to measure the priority level of each. Based on the results, it was found that the production division has the most risk sources compared to other divisions as many as 17 sources and has the highest priority level. After the risk sources are identified and analyzed, a risk management proposal is designed by adjusting the type of activity and the risk. Management and application of personal protective equipment (PPE), SOP work procedures and fire extinguishers are one of the risk management proposals that must be adhered to as part of risk management.

Abstract

PT ABC is a company that produces pulp and paper. The company works 24 hours and each machine is a continuous process. A reliable production system is important so that machines and other components can operate without being damaged during production. The problem is the damage that occurs at any time before the maintenance interval so it needs corrective maintenance. This research is limited to the gloss calendar II machine. To avoid corrective maintenance, optimal preventive maintenance actions are needed by determining maintenance intervals. This study aims to schedule preventive maintenance that minimizes downtime in the gloss calender II using MTBF and FMEA. After analyzing the causes of failure, an assessment and ranking of each cause of failure are carried out according to the severity and frequency of occurrence. The methods used are Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). FMEA is a structured analysis method to identify and analyze various failure modes that occur in components, while MTBF is a method to find maintenance intervals. The result of this paper is a proposal for an ideal preventive maintenance time interval to reduce downtime on a gloss calendar machine using the FMEA & MTBF method.

Abstract

The workload in ergonomics is divided into two parts, namely the mental load and the physical load. The mental load is a workload related to cognitive, perception, and concentration, while the physical load is related to human physical activity. The pipe checking process carried out by 3 operators at PT Bakrie Pipe Industries requires high concentration. This operator must check for pipe defects which are done for 8 hours per day and are repetitive. The purpose of this study was to measure the mental and physical load on operators using NASA TLX and energy consumption methods. This research was conducted starting with observing and interviewing the operator, then distributing the NASA TLX questionnaire and measuring the pulse. The results showed that the three operators had a high mental and physical burden, especially operator 3 who was older than the other operators. There is a relationship between age and the activities carried out so that it can cause differences, although not too significant. The need for immediate repairs in this work is due to manual work to check pipe defects without any tools, causing excessive stress and fatigue to the operator.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi saat ini kita diperkenalkan dengan sebuah konsep bernama VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) yang menjelaskan mengenai sifat tantangan masa depan dan perubahan yang akan dihadapi. Era VUCA yang mengarah ketidakpastian dan mudah berubah pada sebuah situasi bisnis menimbulkan kecemasan bagi para pemimpin bisnis. Banyak profesi lama bertumbangan di era VUCA, namun ada pula yang muncul sebagai profesi baru. Mampu menjalankan bisnis dalam jangka pendek di era VUCA tidaklah cukup, setiap perusahaan tentu menginginkan agar proses bisnis yang mereka jalankan memiliki kelanjutan. Penelitian ini fokus untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan smart factory di era VUCA terutama saat pelaku usaha UMKM menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan smart factory di era VUCA terhadap UMKM di Kota Kediri. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dan pembuatan produk, penerapan transformasi digital dengan melakukan pengumpulan data diinternet, dan penerapan additive manufacturing, prototype, / pencetakan 3D mempunyai nilai signifikansi < 0,05 sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja UMKM. Penerapan penggunaan layanan cloud yang terkait produk dan penerapan penggabungan layanan digital ke dalam produk mempunyai nilai signifikansi

Abstract

Covid-19 affects many people's economic activities, one of which is online transportation services. Online transportation service providers must implement health protocols on their services in accordance with government regulations. The purpose of this study was to measure customer satisfaction with the quality of online transportation services in Surabaya during the Covid-19 period. Measurements were carried out by integrating the IPA-Kano method. The results of this measurement are expected to be input for online transportation companies in improving the quality of online transportation services during the Covid-19 period. Based on the IPA analysis, the results of the calculation of the average total value of performance are 3.96 and the average total value of expectations is 4.48. The average total value of performance is smaller than the average total value of expectations. This shows that the performance of online transportation services is still lower than customer expectations. The results of the IPA-Kano integration analysis show that there are 14 attributes that must be maintained and 12 attributes that need to be improved. The priority attributes that need to be improved are drivers providing health protocol tools such as masks and handsanitizers, and drivers having broad insight about the road to be taken.

Abstract

In increasing competitive advantage at this time, companies must control their supply chain performance to remain optimal. PT. ABCXYZ is a company engaged in the food and beverage industry that produces powdered drinks, the main product produced is ginger powder drink. Analysis of the company's supply chain performance is measured using the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method. This research is descriptive quantitative using case study research method. Interviews and direct observations were carried out for actual data collection. The results of measuring the performance of PT. ABCXYZ using the SCOR method is perfect order fulfillment by 88%, order fulfillment cycle time by 8 days, cost of goods sold by 41%, and cash to cash cycle time by 17 days
