Abstract

The development of technology information has brought changing to decision to the way of making decision in purchasing the technologi of mobilephone; particulary, the quality of software as the part of inprovement mobile phone. On the other hand, people tend to leave their mobile phone as soon as the growth of technologi. This fact leads the producer of mobile phone to keep improving the quality as sociaty need; one of them is the quality of software of the mobile phone. Thus, the producers of this tecnology need to deal with the business development and society need in competitive ways.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dimanfaatkan pada semua aspek kehidupan manusia, tak terkecuali dalam bidang pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa baik pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi bagi siswa kelas X SMA Ananda. Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Ananda Batam merupakan salah satu sekolah yang memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Ananda dengan jumlah sampel 62 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai pemanfaatan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi bagi siswa kelas X SMA Ananda Batam sebesar 76,94% dari nilai yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Database appeared and began to develop in line with the needs of processing and data storage to meet the information needs. Database is part of an important building block in an information system. In addition to a relational database (SQL), which stores structured datas in tables with defined schemes, there is a non-relational databases (NoSQL) with a dynamic scheme or unstructured. This study will compare the performance between NoSQL database (MongoDB) and SQL database (MySQL) for a web-based multimedia file storage application that stores files as BLOBs. Performance comparison is based on the speed of execution and the computer resources usage (CPU, memory, and virtual memory).

Abstract

Judging from the development of various educational institutions in Indonesia, we can see that the province of Riau Islands and Batam in particular, already has a wide selection of quality educational institutions, and can produce graduates who are skilled and efficient. On the role of secondary schools as an educational institution is very important, especially from the age limit teenagers who are usually in the upper secondary education level. This role is supported by a variety of facilities received from the government, including information technology support. This research attempts to carry out a research on how to apply, act and socialize using web-based technology and powerful computers for the community, especially the increase in learning ability of students in vocational schools in Batam. From the results of this study found that students' ability to learn further increased by the application of information technology and web-based computer is good and right. School management and teachers welcomed very well and expect to further research to be carried out each year to their students.

Abstract

The movement of stock prices are influenced by many things or factors, and this study aimed to determine the effect of net profit margin ( NPM ), and Return on Equity ( ROE ) of the company's stock price in the banking sector are listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in the form of secondary data from financial year 2009 to 2012. Population is banking sector companies listed on the Stock Exchange are taken of 9 samples. The data was collected in 2013 . All data have been collected descriptive first tested , the test is also done which includes the classic assumption test for normality, multi-collinear test , test and test heterocedasticity autocorrelation. Then hypotheses test using regression analysis, coefficient of determination, t-test to test the partial regression coefficients and F test to test the significance of the effect together with the level of significance of 5%. The results showed that the partial regression coefficients ( individual ) Net Profit Margin ( X1 ) effect on stock prices as a significant level of 0.001 < 0.05, and the regression coefficient Return on Equity ( X2 ) effect on stock prices as a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05. And together ( Simultaneous ) Net Profit Margin and Return on Equity has significant influence on the stock price of 0.000 < 0,05. While the coefficient of determination indicates that jointly Net Profit Margin ( NPM ), and Return on Equity provides a strong influence on stock price by 46.9 % and the two variables have a positive relationship while the remaining 53.1 % is influenced by other factors. Finally, the author suggests the Banking Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange so that the ratio of the banking company's performance can be explored in other financial ratios that affect the company's share price.

Abstract

ELSA ADPS used by Hang Nadim Airport Batam has been used since 2012, this system is used to manage the news flying as flight plan, departure, landing, and flight meteorological news which will then be sent to each units and airports require. This study also aimed to determine the effect on the performance aspects of human resources information systems, to determine the effect of involvement and support from managers on the performance of information systems, to determine the effect of system compatible with other systems on the performance of information systems, to determine the effect of user involvement on system performance information, to determine the effect of simultaneous aspects of human resources, involvement and support from managers, system compatible with other systems, the existence of the issue of user involvement and user behavior on system performance ELSA ADPS. Data retrieval techniques with distributing questionnaires to all employees of Hang Nadim Airport Batam in particular the use of information systems while the ELSA ADPS data processing using statistical program SPSS to analyze the data using descriptive, test the data quality, hypothesis testing, simultaneous test (F) and partial test (T). The findings in this research that there is positive between the HR aspects of the performance ELSA ADPS, there is a positive effect between involvement and support of the manager of the Performance Information Systems ELSA ADPS, there system compatible with other systems on the performance of ELSA ADPS, there is no the existence of the influence of user involvement and the issue of user behavior on system performance ELSA ADPS. Aspects of human resources, involvement and support from managers, system compatible with other systems, the existence of user involvement and user behavior issues jointly affect the system performance ELSA ADPS.

Abstract

Slowly advances in information technology communication has entered into working life. The high will need a digital information service that people want to make different kinds of technological devices such as Black Berry Messenger selling well. This is because the ability in the spread of information and communication easy, practical, effective and efficient time. In the legal world, especially notaries in addition to following the legal developments as pillars, the development of the digital world also shall be followed as a means of support. Based on the research use blackberry messenger can know that on average the highest percentage answer renponden agree with the use of blackberry utilization of 47.20 percent, followed by 30.80% strongly agree. While the average of respondents who strongly disagree with the use blackberry messenger of 1.60 percent.

Abstract

Usda Seroja Batam is one of the many companies that use computer network facilities. PT Usda Seroja Batam is in dire need of adequate network facilities to support two-way communication, namely employees with employees and employees with the company so as to create a good work environment to support all company activities. With the availability of a good computer network, data access speed is necessary. In accessing a data user or user wants fast access, but access speed is often constrained by the busy computer network used by all users or users in the company. The purpose of this research is to give perception how the use of LAN network at Usda Seroja Batam. The research method uses descriptive analysis that will obtain results from questionnaires that will be distributed to employees or network users in the company. From the results of descriptive analysis on the network, it will provide valuable information about the condition of a computer network

Abstract

Nowadays, Short message services (SMS) is a popular public service which is offered by the provider of mobile phone. SMS is used as a tool of communication for users, even more, it is frequently used to promote the products of company, send information/ messages to partners and friends. This research is conducted in PT Istana Kencana Motor which is used to find out the influences between SMS toward the costumers’ purchasing interest. It is interesting and need to be explored in considering the use of mobile phone, the providers who offers some facilities to the costumers, and the need of economical transportation, in this case, motorcycle. The sample of the research is the costumers of PT Istana Kencana Motor. The technique of data analysis was using SPSS. The result of the research is hoped to be useful for PT Istana Kencana Motor in considering better decisions in finding out the costumers’ demanding and complaining.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi telah berkembang dengan pesat dan menjadi semakin mudah diakses oleh masyarakat. Informasi telah menyebar melalui berbagai media, baik media cetak (Koran dan majalah), maupun media elektronik, seperti televisi, dan internet. Indonesia merupakan negara yang tidak lepas dari perkembangan global internet, dari tahun ke tahun semakin meningkat. Desa Digital adalah konsep pembangunan pedesaan yang memberdayakan masyarakat dengan sarana teknologi informasi yang memadai, tetapi saat ini program pemerintah belum tercapai sehingga muncullah istilah kesenjangan digital. Menurut OECD tahun 2001 (1), kesenjangan penguasaan teknologi informasi (digital divides) didefinisikan bahwa kesenjangan bukan hanya terjadi di tingkat bisnis dan geografi saja, tetapi juga mencakup kesenjangan di tingkat individu. Kesenjangan digital (digital divide) sangat dirasakan tidak saja dalam kaitan paradox kota kecil melainkan juga dalam suatu kota besar. Kesenjangan digital tersebut terjadi terutama sejak penggunaan Internet secara luas dan meningkatnya arus informasi yang sangat dominan, yang didukung platform Teknologi dan Sistem Informasi. Laporan ini berisi hasil pembuktian bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesenjangan digital adalah faktor umur, pendidikan, pendapatan dan lokasi. Kesemua faktor ini dianalisis dengan metode SEM sehingga diperoleh tingkat signifikansi masing-masing faktor
