Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had various positive impacts on companies that implement it in order to achieve their vision, mission, and goals. However, the benefits of the development of information technology also carry various threats and risks of its use. One of the risks referred to is cyber attacks. There are various standard frameworks that can be used to audit/measure the level of cybersecurity security, including NIST and ISO 27001. The purpose of this study is to make a comparison of the cybersecurity framework standards NIST and ISO 27001 with descriptive literature study methods. The results of this study obtain the advantages and disadvantages of each standard framework.

Abstract

Judging from the development of various educational institutions in Indonesia, we can see that the province of Riau Islands and Batam in particular, already has a wide selection of quality educational institutions, and can produce graduates who are skilled and efficient. On the role of secondary schools as an educational institution is very important, especially from the age limit teenagers who are usually in the upper secondary education level. This role is supported by a variety of facilities received from the government, including information technology support. This research attempts to carry out a research on how to apply, act and socialize using web-based technology and powerful computers for the community, especially the increase in learning ability of students in vocational schools in Batam. From the results of this study found that students' ability to learn further increased by the application of information technology and web-based computer is good and right. School management and teachers welcomed very well and expect to further research to be carried out each year to their students.

Abstract

Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah memberikan masukan yang komprehensif terutama yang berkaitan dengan judul penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana pengaruh website, kualitas layanan dan kompetensi terhadap kepuasan pengunjung perpustakaan kota Batam, provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa a) Website, kualitas pelayanan,kompetensi pegawai dipersepsikan responden cukup bermanfaat bagi pengunjung, b) Kepuasan Pengunjung Perpustakaan Umum dan Arsip Kota Batam dipersepsikan responden cukup bermanfaat bagi pengunjung, c) Secara parsial website tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pengunjung Perpustakaan Umum dan Arsip Kota Batam, d) Secara parsial kualitas pelayanan pegawai dan kompetensi pegawai berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pengunjung Perpustakaan Umum dan Arsip Kota Batam, e) Secara simultan, website, kualitas pelayanan dan kompetensi pegawai berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pengunjung Perpustakaan Umum dan Arsip Kota Batam.

Abstract

The long term goal of this research is benefiting manufacturing company in Batam regarding effectiveness of employees in doing their job. This research attempts to examine how Information System and Competence of Employees affect Effectiveness of work. This research uses 3 independent variables and 1 dependent variable. The impact of independent variable was analyzed by regression model. Results show that there are significant interrelated dependence relationships among variables.

Abstract

Video Game telah berkembang pesat selama beberapa dekade terakhir dan datang dalam berbagai genre. MOBA atau Multiplayer Online Battle Arena adalah salah satunya, genre ini dikenal dengan multiplayer dan adegan kompetitifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah MMO atau Massively Multiplayer Online mempengaruhi minat pemain dalam bermain game MOBA menggunakan multi-method untuk mengumpulkan konsensus responden. DeLone & McLean adalah model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat tertarik dengan game MOBA karena visual dan gameplay dari MOBA itu sendiri, sementara MMO atau variabel multiplayer services tidak berpengaruh terhadap ketertarikan pemain terhadap game MOBA.

Abstract

Video Games have evolved rapidly over the last few decades and come in a variety of genres. MOBA or Multiplayer Online Battle Arena is one of them, this genre is known for its multiplayer and competitive scene. This study aims to analyze if MMO or Massively Multiplayer Online affects player’s interest in playing MOBA games using multi-method to gather a consensus of respondents. DeLone & McLean is the model used in this study. The findings in this study show that people are interested in MOBA games because of the visual and gameplay of MOBA itself, While MOBA games do not affected by player’s interest in MMO or multiplayer services’ variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengisi kekosongan pengetahuan dan mengetahui dengan komprehensif pengaruh teknik fotografi terhadap citra merek dalam iklan produk. Pencahayaan, efek gerak, fokus dan ruang tajam, serta komposisi, diidentifikasi sebagai faktor-faktor utama yang memiliki peran signifikan dalam membentuk cara konsumen memandang dan menerima merek melalui media iklan. Metode penelitian kuantitatif simple random sampling dan kausal-komparatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengumpulkan serta menganalisis data dari sejumlah responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis data menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 26 yang dilakukan dengan cermat dan valid mengkonfirmasi bahwa teknik fotografi berdampak positif secara signifikan terhadap citra merek dalam iklan produk. Penelitian ini memiliki dampak yang sangat signifikan bagi praktisi di bidang pemasaran dan periklanan yang sedang berupaya meningkatkan efektivitas iklan produk mereka. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang bagaimana teknik fotografi memengaruhi citra merek, para praktisi dapat merancang iklan yang lebih memikat dan berpengaruh, sehingga mampu membentuk persepsi konsumen dengan lebih efektif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pengetahuan penting dalam memahami peran esensial fotografi dalam membentuk citra merek, yang kini lebih relevan daripada sebelumnya dalam era pemasaran yang semakin terfokus pada elemen visual dan media digital.

Abstract

Sejak pandemi COVID-19 melanda seluruh dunia, Proses pembelajaran siswa dan mahasiswa telah berubah. Banyak sekolah dan universitas yang mengubah pembelajaran dari yang awalnya tatap mata menjadi online. Salah satu sumber daya yang diperlukan untuk melakukan pembelajaran secara online adalah E-Learning. Oleh karena itu, e-learning harus memiliki fitur yang baik dan berguna agar proses pembelajaran siswa dan mahasiswa dapat berjalan lancar. Saat ini, ada beberapa alat pembelajaran yang digunakan seperti moodle, edmodo, wordpress, dan lain-lain. Pada penelitian ini akan menggunakan moodle untuk mengembangkan website e-learning berdasarkan preferensi mahasiswa UIB dengan metode Research and Development. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah analisis fitur-fitur yang diperlukan dalam website e-learning agar proses pembelajaran online dapat berjalan lancar. Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the entire world, the learning process for pupils and students has changed. Many schools and universities have changed learning from face-to-face to online. One of the resources needed to carry out online learning is E-Learning. Therefore, e-learning must have good and useful features so that the learning process for pupils and students can run smoothly. Currently, there are several learning tools used such as Moodle, Edmodo, WordPress, and others. In this research, we will use Moodle to develop an e-learning website based on UIB student preferences using the Research and Development method. The result of this research is an analysis of the features needed on an e-learning website so that the online learning process can run smoothly.
