Abstract

Website as electronic information media may present a variety of information quickly, effectively and efficiently. Optimal utilization of information technology is one of the key components in providing customer satisfaction. From these statements it is doing research analysis astra web-based information systems to customer satisfaction with dseskriptif quantitative research methods. Astra web-based information systems as variables x (independent) and customer satisfaction as the y variable (dependent). And produce research that the quality of web-based information system astra views of Usability, Graphic Design, Contents, Compatibility, Loading Time, accessibility, Interactivity is quite good and beneficial to the customer. In terms of customer satisfaction, the customer satisfied with the quality of the product / service, price, service quality, and ease to get astra product. While the trial found that the effect of quality web-based information systems astra affects customer satisfaction.

Abstract

By looking at the effect of the use of smartphones on interpersonal communication Batam city communities with the aim to determine the effect of the use of smartphones on interpersonal communication Batam city communities. The purpose of this study was to determine how the use of smartphones in the city of Batam, to know how interpersonal communication community Batam city, describing the impact of the use of smartphones to interpersonal communication. Smartphone usage covers the File Manager, QuickOffice, Internet Browser, Zip and Pdf Manager, Calculator, Font Magnifie and covers interpersonal communication Interpersonal Perception, Self-Concept, Interpersonal Attractions, Interpersonal Relations. The research method used is descriptive research method and verikatif with a quantitative approach that is research is research that uses numerical data (numbers), which is then processed and analyzed to be concluded. So that research results obtained from this study is the level of smartphone use in high Batam city, it is affected by the use of smartphones can use the internet to communicate easily and quickly, which can chat, video calls etc, the level of interpersonal communication Batam city communities are dikriteria just high enough this happens less influenced by interpersonal attraction include common personal characteristics, emotional distress, low self-esteem, and social isolation and the use of Smartphones significantly affect interpersonal communication in Batam city communities.

Abstract

Decision-making will surely experienced any person anytime and anywhere, problems will arise if the decision requires some consideration because if it is not taken into account and considered it well then it will impact to the final result is bad and risky. The discussion in this study relates to the decision-making process is the decision to purchase a laptop using Borda function. Borda function known as a weighting (similar to AHP) using preference data or rank the importance of attributes (variables) to be weighted. The attributes are taken is a matter of major components, size, price, touchpad, battery, brand and operating system of a laptop. Of 7 essential attributes of a laptop will be generated each 6 preferences, so the total will be produced 42 preferences that may arise and continue to make a list of results in the form of the preference and the last was made pairwise matrix in the form of a recapitulation before drawing conclusions. Inference process itself will be done by counting the number of lines and weights that have been obtained. The highest number (the highest percentage) is the best decision to be taken as a solution. This solution will be used to help students and SMAN 5 Plot Batu Aji Lama particular grade 3 in buying a laptop.

Abstract

This research discusses about the influence of Information Technology and Civil Servant Work Capability to Quality of Public Services in the Department of Marine, Fisheries, Agriculture and Forestry (DMFAF) Batam City. This study aims to know whether there is and at what impact that Information Technology and Civil Servant Work Capability to Quality of Public Services in the Department of Marine, Fisheries, Agriculture and Forestry (DMFAF) Batam City. The method used in this study is the observation, questionnaires, interviews and a literature review with using data sourced from primary data and secondary data, analysis techniques used in other research is descriptive statistics which includes descriptive data, frequency, histograms and regression analysis, including multiple regression analysis, determination, F test and t test. Based on the results of F test, obtained F calculated is greater than the F table, which means the Information Technology and Civil Servant Work Capability jointly affect the Quality of Public Services, while the t test results, obtained t count bigger than t table on the means of Information Technology partial effect on Quality of society, but t count is less than t table obtained in the Civil Servant Work Capability means that the partial effect of Quality of Public Services.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the use of the image of the website provider Telkomsel Telkomsel. Telkomsel provider imagery can be interpreted as a result of the company or individual in carrying out its work effectively, efficiently and legally controlled undertaken in order to achieve the mission and vision of the company At the beginning of the PT. Telkomsel is a joint venture between PT. Telkom and PT. Indosat engaged in telecommunications. By name in November 1993 Telkomsel PT. Telkom implement the Pilot Project on the island of Batam and Bintan islands by using the system of the European digital technology, known as GSM. Treading December 1993 PT. Telkom officially registered as a member of the GSM MOU and the beginning of the first telecommunications between phones on the island of Batam and Bintan islands. The project succeeded in building a mobile telecommunications network from scratch in a relatively short period of time is just over two months. Telkomsel is the leading mobile telecommunications operator in Indonesia that provides a variety of technology-based services with GSM network Dual Band (900 & 1800), GPRS, Wi - Fi, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA and HSPA in Indonesia. For international network, Telkomsel collaborate with 362 roaming partners in 196 countries. State-owned company between PT. Telkom and PT. Indosat finally formed in November 1994. The project evolved into other provinces in Indonesia which eventually led to the establishment of PT. Telkomsel on May 26, 1995 as one of three national license holders GSM operators in Indonesia. After a tender process open and transparent for approximately one year, entry of new shareholders, namely PT. Telecom Netherlands and PT. SETCO Megacell Asia. Until now the final composition of PT. Telkomsel held by two companies, namely PT. Telkom and PT by 65%. SingTel (Singapore Telecom) by 35%. With the shareholding structure of the PT. Telkomsel will be very easy to access and continuity of political, global communications, total quality control and GSM access between countries, as well as promotion and others.

Abstract

Long term investment in information technology systems leads to the cost advantage of low-cost leadership. Providing online customer service makes the company's operations become easier and efficient and one form of online services is web-based system. Trouble Ticketing System is a web-based system that is commonly used in dealing with any customer complaints against interruption or the decrease of quality of the internet perceived. In addition, this system can also handle upgrade or downgrade requests, mutation of the customer and receive customer complaints report through e-mail, telephone and client applications on the system. In this case, a support/csc plays an important role in controlling every activity on the system. The main task of this support/csc is to create trouble ticket or any other requests ticket, completing the task to the first level corresponding to the SOP and run interference escalation to a higher level, until the trouble ticket is completely processed. For those who work in the network field or network administrator, Trouble Ticketing System is an application that is also called a trouble report, a mechanism used by a company or organization to track or to detect report and resolution of various types of problems. Trouble Ticketing System contains complaints and requests for support/hepdesk, and is equipped with ticket escalation feature to the company management. By this, any form of customers complaints and request can be responded quickly and in turn will facilitate the management internal policy or decision-making.

Abstract

Mobile marketing secara luas dapat didefinisikan sebagai “penggunaan media seluler sebagai alat komunikasi pemasaran” atau “distribusi dari setiap jenis pesan promosi atau iklan kepada pelanggan melalui jaringan nirkabel”. Smartphone BlackBerry adalah merupakan ponsel pintar dengan beberapa keunggulan fitur. Namun BlackBerry tetaplah barang elektronik yang memiliki resiko kerusakan dan gangguan seperti halnya ponsel-ponsel/handphone lainnya. Komunikasi interpersonal merupakan alat penghubung dalam menyampaikan atau memberikan informasi kepada orang lain. Tanpa adanya komunikasi, semua aktifitas yang dilakukan tidak akan berjalan efektif. Peranan komunikasi interpersonal dapat meningkatkan Kepercayaan pelanggan, karena tingkat kepercayaan merupakan pendorong atau penggerak dari dalam diri seseorang untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya serta mencapai tujuan tertentu dan dapat bekerja lebih baik. Kepercayaan adalah kemauan seseorang untuk bertumpu pada orang lain dimana seseorang tersebut telah memiliki keyakinan. Kepercayaan merupakan kondisi mental yang di dasarkan oleh situasi seseorang dan konteks sosialnya. Namun kendala dalam kepercayaan seorang pelanggan adalah kurangnya pertukaran interpersonal dan sifat satu kali transaksi bisnis yang khas di internet membuat kepercayaan konsumen menjadi unik, karena kepercayaan berhubungan dengan orang lain dan dipelihara melalui suatu interaksi.

Abstract

Websites began to be known in Indonesia around 1998, in which only large companies can afford to have it. At that time, the website is a technology that is quite expensive to own. So many entrepreneurs and manufacturers discourage them to be able to have this media campaign. The steps of making a web services provider that offers low prices make these companies desire to have a cheap website just be a dream. That was then, now there are virtually billions of web pages that enliven the virtual world. Most of these are commercial web site that is business and commerce. Apparently the media campaign in the form of a website is very important in the business world. The proof lately many large and small businesses have used the website as a medium of promotion in marketing products or services. Websites that not only functions as a promotional tool but also as an effort to increase the prestige (prestige) of a company has made ​​a lot of bold entrepreneurs to pay high enough to have this online media. Often we ask questions when we attended seminars that discuss about the website, "Why have a website? Though a company would have been nice about her products mepunyai brochures or marketing experience in marketing". This question is very good, but we all know that the website can be accessed from all over the world so it can be viewed by potential customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, it's certainly not going to be possible with marketing brochures and no matter how great, because there is no marketing who can distribute flyers throughout the country or no marketing is able to work 24 hours a day and 365 a year. But through a website product a company will be seen by hundreds of millions of people online every day to use email, chat, search for information, buy products in online stores, even mere entertainment. The majority of Internet users (young people and businessmen) would expect a company to have a website. It is now common people say, "Good product, want to see on the internet." or "what company it is, the website address where?. Website accessed much more quickly, more easily understood and effective in terms of cost when compared to other media. Via a website we can put articles, pictures, or any sort of detailed product information and even online stores online map that can guide us to our own office (with the help of Google Map example). websites can be an important part of company's promotional and marketing strategies. Creation website marketing needs to be a serious agenda. More than that can increase the reliability of the company's website.

Abstract

Problems faced before the portal Pemko Batam is in the slow to respond to any public complaints and the people themselves do not have containers for their aspirations, this suggests that the rate of utilization of the website Pemko Batam low public perception, the perceived level of satisfaction was less, the effect of the use of Batam City Government website for public satisfaction is low. The aim of this study was to determine how the level of utilization of Batam City Government website, to determine the effect of the use of Batam City Government website for public satisfaction peningkatkatan Batam city. The research method used was Deskriptik and verification which the descriptive method is used to analyze the frequency and distribution of the average perception of respondents and also verification to see the relationships and influences between variables, which influence the utilization WebSite indenpenden variable (X1) of the Community Satisfaction dependent variable (Y), with the resident population aged 16 years and over for 93 588 people. The findings of this study is the website Pemko Batam considered beneficial by the public, the website significantly affect the satisfaction of the people of Batam.

By looking at the influences on the development of management information systems employee performance improvement with the information systems used in PT. Ecogreen Oleochemicals Batam. And to identify the variables in a more comprehensive and see how much influence the system variable management information on the performance of employees. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of Management Information Systems at PT. Ecogreen Oleochemicals Batam, to obtain an overview of the performance of employees at PT. Ecogreen Oleochemicals Batam, to gain influence on the performance of Management Information Systems employees at PT. Ecogreen Oleochemicals Batam. Management Information Systems required six components of information, human as an information processor, system concept, the concept of organization and management, the concept of decision-making, values ​​and information to support employees' performance, namely: the ability, initiative, punctuality, quality of work, research communication. Method used is descriptive research method, Verikatif with a quantitative approach that is research is research that uses numerical data (numbers), which is then processed and analyzed to be taken conclusion.
