Abstract

Abstract :The role of private enterprise in poverty reduction is still questionable because the company's concern toward social problems is still half-heartedly. Coverage in the media, associated with forest destruction, pollution of river water, as well as other forms of injustice felt by the community is still often heard. This proves the corporate social responsibility in upholding justice in the world of business is still low. Injustices in the economic and social development create a gap, especially in public access to utilize existing resources. On the other hand, companies show their existence in the business world, with their ability to utilize existing resources in the country.Embodiment of business ethics within the context of corporate social responsibility should be accommodated in company policies with the aim to achieve corporate objectives, but do not ignore the social interests of surrounding communities. Abstract

When President Yudhoyono started his presidential term, there was a great public expectation that there would be betterment in the Indonesian bureaucracy. However, the 2006’s PERC survey ranked Indonesian bureaucracy as the second worst in Asia. Among the causes are the incapability of the government to reform its structure, norms, values and  regulation that are still colonial oriented. Among the weaknesses are “fat” organization, overlapping institutional authority, unproffesional bureaucracy, mass coruption and  nepotism, un-coordinated and un-integrated programs, as well as low dicipline and working ethos among the bureaucrats. These all resulted in unsatisfactory public service. Reform should be done by all stakeholders. The President shoud make  a sound grande design, other stakeholder give their support, while the public realize a check and balance system. Efforts in the President’s last two-year end of term should be focused on the reform on the aspects of institutions, government apparatuses, culture, enviroment and leadership.

Abstract

Violence in the private area consist of physical violence, psychological violence, sexual violence and out of family. Each violence cause impact especially phychological impact of victim. The implementation of UU No. 23 tahun 2004 about elimination of violence in private area has not been effectively done, because there are still many violence of private area cases happened every year. This problem need serious concern and coordination of government and others element involved. The solution to prevent woman and children from this violence are by socializing the act, by promoting idea against patriarchy culture and by given the right interpretation and perception about the position women in Islam.

Abstract

The phenomenon of globalization is increasing the importance of various studies on localwisdom. The lack of study of the local wisdom values in business practices in Indonesia encouragesauthors to identify those values. Method of data collection using literature study. The identificationresults find there are various indigenous values. that form the basis for a variety of business practices inIndonesia. These values. generally varied according to ethnicity given that Indonesia consist of variousethnics. Generally, in every ethnic or a communal in Indonesia, values. can be found, either on theJavanese, Sundanese, Bali, Lombok, Minang, Dayaks, Bugis, to Papua. Research on local wisdomespecially from an economic and business standpoint is important to be done. But more important ishow to socialize these values. to the younger generation so it does not disappear replaced by globalvalues.

Abstract

Governor and Vice Governor Election 2008 is organized based on the Law Number 32, 2004, on Local Government which was the revised twice with Law N 22, 2007, on General Election, and Law Number 12, 2008 on the Second Revision of Law Number 32, 2004. These three laws are made use as the right base of Central Java Governor Election 2008 in the condition of racing with the law. However, these three laws are less implementative.

Abstract

Abstract : The vast shifting map of local agencies makes it impossible to treat local government as a single organisation. The externalization of many services, the centralization of others, make local government is only one actor among a network of agencies in a modern-network society. Partnership between local government and private entities is seen as positive, even essential. In  Municipality this kind of partnership is the result of a focus on outcomes. Partnership is seen as a vehicle to create mutual trust as well as learning.There have been many progress in innovation of development program, corporate focus, investment in training and leadership development as well as cultural change. Election is the most importan for democracy. Election can make some contribution to political integration, linking te central government to local areas. The more fact of participating in an election and the associated task of learning party symbols and some facts about the party’s philosophy, may also facilitate national awarness among the polulation. Abstract

In today's global era entrepreneur means all product are handled itself starts from the purchase of ra materials, production processes and yield a product and proudced to be marketed to consumers, but entrepreneurial products can evolve into an entrepreneurial marketing. Entrepreneurial marketing does not have to produce their own but can take products from various product entrepreneuris and not tied to a specific product but rather an entrepreneurial free cooperation of various entrepreneurial product. Marketed products may vary from handicraft products, food, garments, artwork, creative industries from various regions, provices or even between countries that live marketing entrepreneurs to market these products. The focus of entrepreneurial marketing is not a product, but the market, entrepreneurial succes if it is able to market products to consumers and consumers to become  customers satisfield loyal. marketing entrepreneurs is 1)risk factors received relatively small compared to entrepreneurial product and 2)the capital invested relative factor smaller than it needs to be done is 3) factors make network marketing, sample marketing entrepreneurs start finance, banking, branding, packaging and marketing channel distribution. Entrepreneur forward to spearhead improving national economy.

Abstract

Abstract :Although Indonesia is one of the biggest Moslem country in the world, 'veiled woman' are still become sensitive issue to be discussed.Woman Moslem who decided to wear veil face many consequences since she should follow more intense learning process about the nature of women. They alsoare associated as fanatic Moslem organization. This representation is getting stronger after media labeling them as “terrorist's wife”.The fact show that veiled women have  strong character since they survive around people including Moslem who see them as 'otherness'. However, based on author' observation, veiled woman never experience awkwardness communication with community. They socialize (ukuwahIslamiah) with all Moslem including woman Moslem who do not wear headscarves or veil. They against terrorism as the concept of jihad (Moslem' struggle against'enemies'). They believe that jihad can be done by many other activities such us working, learning and maintaining passions.Therefore, they say that the stigma of 'veiled women is terrorist's wife' is merely the mass media constructions. Abstract

Latin America history was very surprising. By the end of 21 century, no one has suspected that Latin America bear a movement at some states in this area, pink tide believed by the follower as the delivering birth of Socialism of 21 century. Sosialism Movement in Latin America assumed the including of phenomenal after super pounding of Liberation Theology that was expanding since early 1970. Previously, the socialism movement caused unbelievable in the middle of descend popularity socialism globally process after communism avalanche in Uni Soviet early 1990. Pink Tide started to be formed when most general elections conducted democratically in this area, which was won by leaders who have leftist-ideology such as Lula da Silva in Brazil ( 2002 and 2006). Nestor Kirchner in Argentina (2003), Evo Morales in Bolivia (2005); Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua (2006), Rafael Correa in Ekuador (2006) and Hugo Chavez in Venezuela (2006). This Phenomenon becomes more interesting because the strength of left group in Latin America declare their resistance in economy of neoliberal policies.
