Abstract

abstract: Communication has a vital role in the processes of democratization. But, on the other perspective, democracy also determines the way of communication. There are three types of relations between communication and democracy: minimalist democracy, radical democracy, and deliberative democracy. Abstract

Mass media as an instrument that has power to reality construction or deconstruction its, such as news paper eksposes about political activity since reformation era in Indonesia. The ability of media to frame political action or government policy indicates media as strategic subject in every political dynamics since election campaigne, making branded figure untul formatting public opinion. Besides that, recently media starts attention about labour movement in regional or local area. Media always ekspose about labour indicate its trend to support them as a part of economical dynamic in Indonesia. Media role as facilitator to agreement making together, labour-government-enterpreneur about UMK or UMR. So, media become public space in social transition to meet some aspects who has influence in their around.

Abstract

Abstract :DPR (house of representative)has three main duty; legislation, budgeting and supervision. However the result have not significantly satisfied  citizen, particularlythe function of budgeting and legislation.  The legislation function has irrelevant result compare to the number of budget spent for it. The indication can be seen from the fact that DPR do high frequency of'improper'visit to other countries that need great amount of money. Meanwhile, in the function of budgeting, DPR fail to provide transparent budgeting since there were many personal activity of the members who were indicated did corruption and collusion. Abstract

DPRD has significant role in conducting local administration with its three main functions which are legislating, budgeting, and controlling. To support those functions and to apply representation function, DPRD has reses period based on UU 32/2004 and 27/2009. In terms of there is no reses period guidance neither from national administration nor in DPRD rules cause the reses period in central java DPRD run less effective. Therefore a good model of reses period that could support DPAD's performance is urgently needed.

Growth of fast information technology have important casting in aspect of life of public. Information technology have impact at life of public. Information technology current without desisting to start from internet. So, nirkable until telephone system, digital cable continually alter way of traditional communications become modern. Role of information technology can create and have an in with information society available for using internet for : education, business, consumer, health, telecommunications, seluler, agriculture, mass media, service, internet, travel and is govermental. Important other factor is ethics, political and social so that information technology is not misused for the sake of criminals and give protection to individual or organizational and public to rights which owned and rule of law from government to be able to protect importance of public.

Abstract

Abstract :Corruption scandals surrounding  of  local budgeting is one of structural violence,  is paradox to increase the efficiency and responsiveness of the public sector. Local  head elections   increase in the number of regional heads who are involved in corrupt acts. There are 17 governors   and  138  regents and mayors across the country are currently under investigation or serving prison sentences related to corruption.  Why does corruption happen? The factor behind the rampant political corruption is regulation of  voting system led to expensive  political cost, not only in campaign funding but also in  candidate recruitment system.  In order to   minimize the potential for corruption and avoid the temptation of using of regional budgets  by recover election  laws, we must democratize party recruitment and we must limit campaign spending by regional head candidatesKey words:  violence, corruption, local electionspermalink:http://ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/forum/article/view/3152

Abstract

Politics, as communication, is a process, and just like communiaction it involves an inclusive conservation through the exchange of symbols, pictures, body languages, attitudes, manners, etc. Politics is not simply a form of communication, but more it is related to political experience that allow everybody to communicate with others. Political words creates image about object and the condition within conflict and social collaboration, therefore political conservation become a very important point in developing political image. Through the strong political image, politicians and government officers could reassure and motivate people to get involve in the activities and decison making process.

Abstract

Social dis-integration is still a latent problem faced by the Indonesians up to the present time. As a big archipelago country with more than 230 million inhabitants scattered in thousands of islands, the intensity of social conflict always present and there is a tendency to increase. This article describes about social conflict based on sociological theoritical perspective. Basic factors which can arise social conflict are pluralities in religion and ethnic, disharmonious relationship between the majority and the minority, disparity between the poor and the rich, disparity between centre and periphery, as well as disparity between periphery and periphery. But actually all of these factors are based on unequality in the distribution of life resources and social position.

Abstract

Many policies has been implemented in poverty alleviation by SBY-Kalla Administration. The policy are not only implemented in various main programs, but also supported by big and significant budget. Unfortunately, from 2005-2006 periods there is a tendency of increasing poverty, from 15,97% (2005) to 17,75% (2006). The main reasons are those administration’s programs are based on invalid data, not supported by macro economic policy, charitative in nature, and politically-orinted.

Abstract

Keberagaman bentuk kekerasan terhadap perempuan di negara-negara non-Barat termasuk Indonesia membutuhkan pendekatan feminisme yang mempertimbangkan konteks lokal yang melingkupi terjadinya peristiwa opresi. Di beberapa negara non-Barat konsep mengenai kecantikan perempuan terfokus kepada bagian-bagian tubuh tertentu dari perempuan dan seringkali untuk menjadi cantik seorang perempuan harus mengalami rasa sakit luar biasa sebagai akibat dari tindakan transformasi bentuk tubuh. Representasi perempuan di media massa juga mengindikasikan keberagaman tipe-tipe opresi yang dialami perempuan.
