Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi abu kulit cacao terhadap parameter mekanik dan morfologi dalam pembuatan batu bata merah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksprimen. Kuat tekan pada bata merah memiliki nilai minimum 29,73 kg/cm2, dan maksimum 243,82 kg/cm2, dengan melakukan pengujian morfologi menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) dengan bantuan software digimizer maka, nilai minimum sebesar 0,7985 m dan maksimum 2,4551 m. Bahan pembuatan bata merah yaitu tanah liat air dan abu kulit cacao, yang di bakar dengan memvariasikan suhu. Suhu pembakaran batu bata yang optimum pada suhu 1000oC dengan variasi abu kulit cacao 20%, penelitian ini sesuai dengan SNI 15-2094-2000.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR), is a technology with the idea of fusing the real world's dimensions with the virtual world's dimensions that are shown in real time. A three-dimensional object in augmented reality is depicted on a markerless surface using a distinctive pattern that the application can identify. Among the many applications for augmented reality is as a form of educational media. The lack of information conveyed on traditional North Sumatran musical instruments is one of the obstacles for students in recognizing traditional North Sumatran musical instruments. In this final project, an Augmented Reality application was developed for learning media for traditional North Sumatran musical instruments by displaying 2-dimensional objects into 3- dimensional objects in a more attractive way, thereby creating a sense of love for the culture and history of musical instruments in North Sumatra. participate in maintaining and preserving traditional North Sumatran musical instruments which have begun to be forgotten with the emergence of modern musical instruments. This application will be able to read markerless traditional musical instruments which will display three-dimensional musical instruments, sounds, and their history. This application is also equipped with materials and quizzes that serve to evaluate the user's understanding of the material.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal is one of the important roles in the company. This is done to evaluate, motivate and improve employee performance in the company. The results of this performance are used to determine employees who excel. This study uses 5 criteria, namely commitment, integration, professional, innovative, and disciplined. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is used to determine the weight value of each attribute, followed by ranking to select each given alternative. This method can help decision making to produce the greatest value as the best alternative. This research was conducted on 37 respondents' data. The results of the study indicate that this can provide the best decision alternative in making decisions to assess employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the acoustic comfort level of the BMKG Hall Class 1 Deli Serdang Climatology Station before and after the treatment of the room in the form of adding sound-absorbing materials. The purpose of this study was to measure the noise level and optimize the effect of noise with acoustic comfort standards in accordance with KEPMENLH No. 48 of 1996 concerning Noise Level Standards in the BMKG Hall of Class 1 Deli Serdang Climatology Station. Sample Materials The materials used for sound absorption in the room are newsprint pulp and cork waste (Styrofoam) with a thickness of 3 cm. This research is motivated by the high noise below in the room which causes hearing discomfort in the room. The results of the physical test of newsprint and cork pulp (Styrofoam) at frequencies of 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, and 4000 Hz obtained absorption coefficients of 0.47, 0.36, 0.48, 0.36, 0.55 and 0, 59 with the results of Reverberation Time (RT) calculations at frequencies of 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, and 4000 Hz, the results obtained are RT 2.13 s, 1.35 s, 1.01 s, 0.80 s, 0.79 s, 0.82 s.

Abstract

Darul Hikma Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Asahan Regency. The teaching and learning process at this Islamic boarding school is based on an established curriculum and religious knowledge. However, determining the achievements of exemplary students experiences difficulties. This is because the process carried out is still carried out using formula calculations. Apart from that, there are many data errors due to the large number of criteria being assessed. The aim of this research is to help Islamic boarding school managers determine exemplary students by building a decision support system using the MOORA method. So with this system, managers only input every value obtained by students is entered directly into the system. The input value will be processed automatically by the system so that you can get results quickly, precisely and accurately

Abstract

Research was carried out on the analysis of the sound absorption level of several types of patchwork acoustic materials which aims to find out whether patchwork can be used as a sound dampening material, to determine the sound absorption level of several types of patchwork acoustic materials and to determine the best attenuation level of several types of patchwork acoustic materials. the type of patchwork acoustic material. The background of this research is due to the acoustic quality of the room which has received less attention for the comfort of listeners when they are in a room. The study used variations of sound absorbing materials, namely cotton and denim patchwork. Measurement of the sound absorption coefficient of patchwork is done by making a sample chamber with a length of 13.5 cm, a width of 13.5 cm and a height of 8.5 cm. Sound Level Meter is a tool used to measure the level of sound pressure. Variations in the thickness of the patchwork used were 3, 5, and 10 mm. In measuring the entire inner wall surface of the sample room will be covered with patchwork, then the speaker is placed in the sample room. The sound source comes from speakers with a frequency of 90 dB which is arranged in a frequency range of 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz. The best damping level of the three materials is a mixture of cotton and denim with a thickness of 10 mm, because the thicker the patchwork layer, the α value obtained is 0.629.

Abstract

This paper presents the Quran Speech Recognition (QRSR) system, achieving alignment and classification accuracies up to 96%. The system is designed to advance Arabic Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) by focusing on the Arabic diacritic-annotated text. We address the limitations of existing Arabic ASR systems and introduce the Fuzzy Text Alignment and Rule-based Classifier (FTARC) for segmenting audio files and aligning text. The FuzTPI algorithm is integrated with Machine Learning models like Na¨ıve Bayes, Support Vector Machine, and Random Forest. This research aims to generalize the findings for broader Arabic text and contribute to an expanded audio dataset, thereby enhancing Arabic NLP and speech recognition capabilities.

Abstract

Due to its potential for natural beauty, the island in Central Tapanuli Regency is currently one of the destinations to visit. Since so many people wish to visit the island, they unquestionably want some form of sea transportation, with a ship serving as one option for the voyage. Despite the abundance of marine transportation options, it is challenging for tourists to locate ships and learn when they depart. Based on this, it is important to create a website-based information system that serves as an online ship reservation and offers guidance on how to identify and book ships more quickly and easily utilizing the First In First Out (FIFO) algorithm, which schedules according to the queue. The first process to enter will be the first to run.

Abstract

In the selection of camping sites and hiking areas, a system that could be used to help in the process of choosing a camping site with some criteria, a budget ora budget, a number of people, a certain amount of time to spend, as well as the altitude of MDPL, the humidity of a field, and a camping site. The system is built using the latter method for others, solutions for others to be identical to the ideal solution (topsis) category, the multi-alternative decision making (MCDM), which is the technique of several available alternative options for establishing the best alternatives, particularly multi, making decision (madm) in the problem-solving process that it hopes will help and support for making decisions made by decision-makers. The selection of outdoor tools and results from this system will be a list of reports of outdoor equipment for camping and hiking that match the camping site. The system will later produce results of outdoor equipment and any preparations to make camp.

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) is a system created using information derived from processing a number of data, namely geographic data or data located on the earth's surface. Geographic Information Systems can be used in various fields, one of which is as a travel planning and tourist location. The lack of information conveyed on tourism in Deli Serdang Regency is one of the obstacles for people who want to travel. In this thesis, a Geographic Information System application for tourism in Deli Serdang Regency is developed which has detailed tourist information and the selection of the shortest travel route and alternative tours. To determine the shortest route and alternative travel, use the Cheapest Insertion Heuristic Algorithm. Then it is hoped that the community can be helped in planning tourist trips in Deli Serdang Regency. This application utilizes the google maps API as a virtual map provider which will later display tourist location points in Deli Serdang Regency. In addition, this application is also equipped with tourist list information along with tourist details that can be accessed by the public as a reference for traveling.
