Abstract

Social media is currently widely used to disseminate various kinds of information, whether expressing feelings, or opinions. Public opinion is no exception regarding government policies and the implementation of emission tests, which describe the conditions that exist in society. Information on public opinion data obtained through social media in real time can assist the government in evaluating policies and improving the quality of currently implemented policies, particularly evaluating the implementation of emission tests on motorized vehicles. In this research, the application of stance analysis is used to evaluate emission test policies based on public opinion. In addition, this research aims to combine several machine learning methods and feature extraction methods to find the best combination based on accuracy, training time, and prediction time based on emission test policies. The best model based on the level of accuracy is a combination of Decision Tree and BERT, which reaches a value of 66%. Meanwhile, based on training time, the model that has the advantage is the Ridge Classifier with fasttext text representation. Based on prediction time, there are 3 combination models, namely Decision Tree with word2vec, SVM with Word2Vec, and Logistic Regression with fasttext text representation.

Abstract

The increase in internet users has led to the depletion of IPv4 supplies and the increase in cyber attacks, one of which is data leakage incidents. Several innovations were created such as switching to IPv6 which provides more addresses and implementing VPN technology to secure internet communications. The solution using VPN is believed to secure the network from various types of attacks from outside the network by creating a tunnel with a certain encryption algorithm as a data exchange path.  Some studies reveal that using VPN can cause delay which will affect QoS performance. Therefore, this research will be conducted to provide evidence as well as a comparison between the WireGuard and L2TP / IPSec VPN protocols on IPv6 based on Quality of Service parameters which include delay, jitter, packet loss, throughput, and MOS with three tests namely iPerf3, FTP, and remote desktop . The measurement is done by making a sample model with mikrotik and 6to4 tunnel. From the series of tests, it is known that the L2TP/IPSec protocol is better than the WireGuard protocol judging by the performance generated in tests with FTP and remote desktop. This discovery can be used by end users or other researchers to use VPN more objectively based on the technology.

Abstract

Lontar Prasi Bali is famous for its distinctive paintings on palm leaves, a cultural heritage that must be preserved and continued. Main problem occurred because 82.5% of 189 respondents consisting of elementary school students in Denpasar Selatan stated that they did not know about Lontar Prasi Bali. The aim of collecting data from elementary school student respondents is to increase insight into Lontar Prasi and the target of this research is to introduce VR-based lontar prasi culture to children, especially elementary school students. There needs to be collaboration between culture and technology so that people understand the story and provide education about Lontar Prasi Bali, one of which is by implementing VR. The design method used is MDLC Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) which consists of concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing and distribution. The results of research using Likert scale stated that the use of VR showed that 84.75% of respondents stated Strongly Agree with the Lontar Prasi Museum Virtual Reality Application.

Abstract

This study introduces a novel system where a conventional ceramic furnace is upgraded with IoT capabilities, specifically utilizing NodeMCU and a thermocouple sensor. The integrated system enables real-time temperature monitoring, facilitating the correction of firing trajectory errors in the ceramic firing process. The sensors reading minimizes errors by detecting temperature changes with a maximum deviation of -2.5 °C and a minimum deviation of -1 °C. The average error ranges from 1.81% to 3.79%. The collected data is seamlessly transmitted to Google Spreadsheet for online monitoring. This comprehensive solution not only minimizes recording errors but also ensures the quality of final ceramic products by preventing issues such as cracks, breaks, black cores, and non-uniform sizes. The incorporation of NodeMCU, thermocouple sensors, and online monitoring represents a significant technological leap in optimizing ceramic firing processes for heightened precision and efficiency.
