Islamic Review merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Institut Pesantren Mathali'ul Falah (IPMAFA) Pati yang sebelumnya bernama Sekolah Tinggi Mathali’ul Falah Pati (STAIMAFA). Jurnal Islamic Review ini disingkat dengan “IRâ€. Dengan hadirnya jurnal “IR†ini diharapkan memberikan cakrawala baru mengenai keilmuan program studi (prodi) yang berada di bawah naungan IPMAFA, yaitu Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA), Perbankan Syari’ah (PS), Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam (PMI), Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD), Manajemen Zakat dan Wakaf (ZAWA), Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam (KPI), dan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI).

<![CDATA[Merujuk tentang Islam Nusantara erat kaitannya dengan diskursus pesantren sebagai lembaga keagamaan tradisional yang memiliki dinamika dan viabilitas cukup tinggi dalam merajut dan mendialogkan Islam dengan sosial budaya masyarakat yang kemudian disandingan dengan kearifan lokal di dalamnya. Pribumisasi Islam yang kemudian dibangun menjadi semacam cagar budaya dan wujud harmoni dalam pola nalar keagamaan dengan berusaha mempertemukan jembatan antara budaya dan agama sehingga memberikan peluang bagi keanekaragaman praktek kehidupan beragama pada setiap wilayah yang berbeda. Dalam konteks ini juga pesantren membawa andil sebagai garda depan mengembangkan berbagai nilai Islam dan toleransi dengan budaya Nusantara berserta maknanya untuk mencapai transformasi sosial, menjadi agen perubahan dan pembaharuan disegala lini. Pesantren sebagai penjaga tradisi dan dengan otentisitas khasnya akan mampu mewujudkan wajah Islam Nusantara yang Rahmatan Li Al ‘Alamin baik dari sisi golongan, kelompok, serta keragaman budaya yang ada. Dengan ini pesantren juga bisa memiliki cukup modal sosial sebagaimana yang dimaksud Robert Putman (2003) berupa kepercayaan, norma dan jejaring sehingga nantinya bisa mewujudkan pusat peradaban Islam khususnya di Nusantara.]]>

<![CDATA[The root of Arkoun's epistemology of thought, originated from Arkoun's life that grew at the rapid development of science, both socio-humanities and the natural sciences of the Western world. This momentum is not wasted and left to pass without meaning. So it is not strange that in each of his writings thick with nuances of modern Western terms. The objective of the criticism raised by arkoun is to revive the dynamic and modern Islamic thought, to suit the development of various sciences. According to Arkoun, the understanding and exposure of Islamic studies, whether in the stage of introducing theory, creating concepts, or applying its teachings, must be explained using an interdisciplinary approach. Thus, Islamology can always be aligned with other scientific and rational modern sciences. Or in other languages, Arkoun aspires to an amalgamation of the most valuable element of Islamic reason and modern reason.]]>

<![CDATA[Electronic money or e-money as a means of non-cash payments (electronic payment), is now interested in Indonesian society. Institut Pesantren Mathali'ul Falah (IPMAFA) is a university that has more than 200 students who studied economics focus in particular knowledge of banking Shari'ah. Despite being in the city with minimal transport facilities-based computer line, but the reach of internet facilities were adequate and modern minimarkets nearby, prompting researchers to determine the level of understanding and use of electronic money among the college students. Data collected through interviews with 21 respondents representing 10% students of Islamic banking. By using data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman researchers succeeded in preparing the conclusions of this study. Based on the analysis and discussion, the study concluded that the level of knowledge of students of the Institut Pesantren Mathali'ul Falah regarding electronic money based on the theory Personal Capability Maturity Model (P-CMM), these figures are still at the stage where an individual ever had an experience once or twice, and considers e-payment technology is an essential component for achieving the desire and troubleshooting. While the level of use of electronic money mostly students of the Institute Pesantren Mathali'ul Falah is at a level where an individual has repeatedly using e-payment technology to help with daily activities and has had a recurrence pattern in its use. This means that not all students get to know and use electronic money as a means of non-cash payments.]]>
