Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of leadership, supervision systems and punitive sanctions against the level of employee discipline in the Regional Secretariat Bima. There are three independent variables in this study; leadership, supervision, and punitive sanction against the level of employee discipline. In this study population is 240 people with  a sample of 100 respondens selected by the simple random sampling. Simultaneously the results of the study concluded that leadership variable have an influence on work discipline but not significant, control variable have an influence on work discipline but not significant and punitive sanctions variable positive and significant impact on employee discipline. Punitive sanctions is a variable that has the most dominant influence compared with other variables. Of the research results can be recommended a few things, that isemployee discipline would be improved if good leadership, good supervision and sanctions fair punishment can be combined and synchronized with well by the leadership, either in the form of rules written and in it’s application. Keyword : Leadership, Supervision, Sanction, Employee Disciplin

Abstract

 This research is aimed at determining the partially and simultaneously significant effect and dominant effect of variables of leadership style, organisation culture, and non-physical work environment on the work satisfaction of employees of Santo Antonius Catholic Hospital Karang Ujung Ampenan. This research is explanatory study with 89 samples selected  from 115 collected through questionnaiers  and analysed with multiple linear regression, f-test, t-test  and  R2 test. The research showed  that there is partially  and simultaneously significant  effect of leadership style, organisational culture and non-physical  work environment on the work satisfaction of Santo Antonius Catholic Hospital Karang Ujung Ampenan, and non physical work environment has the most dominant effect on the work satisfaction of Santo Antonius Catholic Hospital Karang Ujung Ampenan. Keywords :     leadership style, organisation culture, non-physical work environment, work satisfaction.

Abstract

This  research  is  aimed at  analyzing  the  effect  of  relationship  marketing  on  the commitment of company, communication of company and the complaint handling of PT. ELI on the loyalty of supplier of tobacco with manual drying in East Lombok. The  data  were  collected  through  questionnaire  and  verified  with validation  and reliability test. The data then were analyzed using classic assumption, multiple linear regression, significance test, and certain use of parameter to proof the hypothesis. The research showed that there is partially and simultaneously significant effect of relationship     marketing     consisting     of     company     commitment,     company communication,  and complaint  handling of  PT  ELI on the  loyalty of  supplier of tobacco with manual drying in east Lombok. Of the relationship marketing of PT ELI that  has  a  dominant effect  of  the  loyalty  of  supplier  in  East  Lombok  is  the commitment of company. The level of effect of commitment of company is 24.10 percent (the value of r2X1Y) on the loyalty of supplier. The simultaneous effect of the three dimensions of relationship marketing is 50.40 percents (R2   =0.504) on the loyalty of supplier, categorized as the high criteria. One of the suggestions for the management of PT ELI is to improve partnership with the supplier, with the concept that may be applied as well as possible in order that the partnership can give sustainable and high economic benefit for the farmers. Keywords:  relationship, marketing  (Company, commitment, communication,  and complain handling) and loyalty of Supplier

Abstract

This study aims to find relevant main factors of conflict in SAMSAT Offices throughoutthe Island of Lombok. The study design includes an confarmatory research. Total respondent in thisstudy is 181 SAMSAT employees, but the actual data are based on 159 questionnaires. The maindata collection techniques are by using questionnaires, which were previously tested for their validityand reliability in other populations. Initial stage of data analysis are correlation test, KMO andBartlett's, anti-image correlation test, communalities, eigenvalues and the matrix componentsrotation. The conflict factors that are inputted in the factor analysis are 16 variables, whereas therelevant conflicts factors are only ten (10) including; workload variables, a job description,competition for resources, the dependence of the work, vagueness field tasks, the problem of status,social relationships, decision making, personnel policies and goal difference. The main conflict factorsare the main job description, the competition for resources, the dependence of the work, vaguenessfield tasks, the problem of status, social relationships and decision making. Those variables arecollected in the first factor are able to explain the variation conflict of 29.390 percent.Keywords: The Conflict Factors and Work Conflict.

Abstract

This research is aimed at determining the effect of work safety and health transformational leadership and organisational culture on the organisational commitment and at analysing which variable is the most dominant to affect the organisational commitment of employees of Mataram Fish Quarantine, Harvesting and Quality Control (FQHQC) Class II. This research is associative-causal research where the data were collected from 57 employees of FQHQC Class II Mataram through quetionnaires. The data were analysed using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, and the hypothesis was tested partially and simultaneously. The research showed that work safety and health, transformational leadership and organisation culture partially and simultaneously have significant effect on the organisational commitment employees of FQHQC Class II Mataram. The variable of transformational leadership is the most dominant factor to affect the organisational commitment of employees of BKIPM Class II Mataram. The research concluded that work safety and health, transformational leadership and organisational culture have significant effect on the organisational commitment of employees of BKIPM Class II Mataram. The variable of transformational leadership is the most dominat factor to affect the organisational of employees of BKIPM Class II Mataram. The transformatonal leadership style applied in FQHQC Class II Mataram should prioritize the improvement of work safety and health, organisational culture of employees to improve the organisational commitment of employees of FQHQC Class II Mataram. Keywords:      Work Safety and Health, Transformational Leadership, Organisation Culture, and Organisational Commitment.

Abstract

Public Health Centers is a technical implementation unit under the District Health Agency that is responsible to conduct health development in a region. To achieve the development vision and mission in health, Health Centers are supported by sufficient resources such as capital, material, machine and human resources. Based on the evaluation of health center performance in 2014, all are good. The condition described for the performance of employees of Health Centers in East Lombok analyzed based on the presence list showed that the level of participation is 98%. The performance and satisfaction of health centers may be affected by the good compensation in Health Centers.This research is aimed at determining the effect of compensation on the performance of employees through the work satisfaction in health centers in East Lombok. This research is a explanatory qualitative study. The samples were 70 respondents selected through cluster random sampling and the data were analyzed using Path Analysis.The research showed that (1) Compensation does not affect directly the performance of employees; (2) Compensation affects directly the work satisfaction of employees; (3) Work satisfaction affects directly the performance of employees; (4) Compensation has direct effect on the performance of employees of Health centers through work satisfaction in East Lombok.Keywords: Compensation, Work Satisfaction, Performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the differences in financial performance before and after mergers and acquisitions based on financial ratios : Current Ratio (CR), Quick Ratio (QR), Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), dan   Earnings Per Share  (EPS) at the companies listed on the Stock Exchange. This type of research is comparative , and sampling using purposive sampling. The type of data using quantitative data and data sources obtained from secondary data. The analysis technique used is the model for the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality, and parametric test Paired Sample T Test to test hipoteisis. The results showed that there were significant differences between before and after mergers and acquisitions based on financial ratios Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) in the comparative period of 2 years before and 2 years after puberty and acquisitions as well as comparison of 2 years before the 3 years after the mergers and acquisitions. The results also showed a significant difference based on financial ratios Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) at a ratio of 2-year period prior to 2 years after the mergers and acquisitions. While based on the ratio of Current Ratio (CR), Quick Ratio (QR), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), fixed Assets Turnover (FATO), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), and Earnings Per Share (EPS), the results showed that there were no significant differences for all the study period.Keywords: Mergers and acquisitions, financial performance, quantitative, Paired Sample T Test

Abstract

The objective of the study was to evaluate the influence of strategic price and hotel promotions toward consumer decision to stay in non-star hotel. Associative research design was adopted as the study guide. Purposive sampling techniques were used in which 100 copies of the research instrument were administered to domestic tourists which stayed for two or more days in non-star hotels, Gili Trawangan, out of which 100 copies of questionnaire were filled and returned. Pearson Product Moment correlation was used to analyse the data generated from respondents. The findings revealed that strategic price and hotel promotions have significant influence on consumer decision at 0,05 level (2-tailed). The result of the research shows both of the variables significantly affecting consumer decision. Furthermore, hotel promotions ranks the first follow by strategic price. This research will help the management of hotel to understand and recognize the ranking of variables affecting consumer decision of domestic tourists to stay in non-star hotel. Keywords:      Hospitality, Strategic Price, Promotion, Decision to Stay, Domestic Tourist, and Gili Trawangan.

Abstract

This research is aimed first at determining the effect of physical surrounding on the satisfaction of  supermarket consumers in Mataram (MGM Plaza, Niaga, Jembatan Baru and Ruby), scond at determining the physical surrounding variable that dominantly affect the supermarket consumer’s satisfaction in Mataram. This research is assosiative research to determine the correlation between two or more variable. The analysis showed that the equation regression of   Y = 0,981 + 0,078 X1 + 0,052 X2 + 0,273 X3 + 0,351 X4 . The result emphasixed the theory and researchs about the physical surrounding effect on custumer / consumers’ satisfaction. The determinanting analysis showed that R2 or R square is 0.582  the F-test = 33.058 is bigger than F-table = 2.70 wich mans the simultaneously the physical surrounding, goods pattern position  chaseer position and parking lots together affect significantly the consumers’ satisfaction. Partially, two varibles have significant variable affecting the consumers’satisfaction, namely parking lots and chaser position. Two other varable of physical surrounding and goods position do not have significant effect.

Abstract

This research is aimed at determining the partial effect and the simultaneous effect of leadership behaviour and organisational circamstances on the performance and at determining the most dominant variable to affect the performance of teacher in Pondok Pesantren Qamarul Huda Bagu Priggarata Central Lombok.This research is associative-causal research where the data were collected from 122 through cencus method and the data were analysed using Multiple Linear Regression.The research showed that leadership and organisation circumstances either partially and simultaneously have positive and significant on the performance. The leadership has the most dominat variable to affect the teacher performace in Pondok Pesantren Qamarul Huda Bagu Priggarata Central Lombok. This research is expected to be as the contribution to the leader in Pondok Pesantren Qamarul Huda Bagu Priggarata Central Lombok in making decision to improve the teacher performance. Keywords: teacher performance, leadership behavior, organisation circumstances
