Abstract

This study is done because there are still many problems or conflicts due to diversity in the community environment such as cultural differences, differences between individuals, social changes, and so on. It can be said to be a potential because Indonesia has abundant wealth, both natural and cultural and language wealth. This method uses a quantitative approach, the method used is a Literature (library research) study used by collecting data by looking for sources from various books, articles, journals and research. The results and discussion of this study show that philosophy is very active in making demonization of the society. But from the results concluded that philosophy plays an important role in aligning community diversity by providing frameworks to understand and respect different world perspectives and views such as, understanding the nature of diversity, developing critical thinking skills, fostering ethics and moral, creating the same language. Philosophy helps the community to appreciate the values and importance of different experiences of society and to recognize the value and importance of diversity. By questioning the assumptions and examining the fundamental values and principles that guide the mind and behavior of the community, philosophy helps identify and challenge tendencies that perpetuate inequality and discrimination.

Abstract

In general, the aim of this research is to determine the role of the Department of Industry and Trade in developing small and medium industries in the economy of the people of Serdang Bedagai Regency. As well as what the condition of SMEs there is, and also the challenges faced by the department and industry players in developing the community economy in Serdang Berdagai. This type of research is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive approach method to obtain an in-depth picture (description). Data was obtained through interviews, documentation studies and observations. The research informants consisted of five, namely: the Head of the Department of Industry and Trade, Serdang Berdagai Regency, his Secretary, Industrial Staff, and two SMEs. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the role played by the Department of Industry and Trade is quite influential in developing the Small and Medium Industry community in Serdang Berdagai Regency. With the state of Small and Medium Industries recorded in 1985 there were industries in Serdang Berdagai Regency. There are many roles created by the Department as facilitators, regulators and catalysts, where these roles include helping SMEs to improve the community's economy. However, it is inevitable that there will be obstacles that occur, the obstacles found in the field are a lack of insight into technology, limited community personnel from the Department of Industry and Trade and limited sources of capital.

Abstract

The Joint Business Group (KUBE) is one of the fishing community institutions that has a role in developing fisheries and empowerment businesses. KUBE as a non governmental organization to improve the insight and competence of its members in preparing planning, management, and financial arrangements to increase fishermen's income. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of the joint business group (KUBE) in empowering fishing communities in building awareness of the Alu Naga village community. The study used descriptive qualitative research types, observational data collection techniques, interviews. Technical data analysis, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion. The results showed that KUBE provided financial assistance, socialization, training, bout assistance. open opportunities in running a business, increase knowledge and skills in catching fish and so on. Meanwhile, efforts to increase awareness of the fishing community are to make regular extension activities and optimize the capacity of potential fishermen groups to be developed, form fishermen institutions, care for the coastal ecosystem environment, training on the use of fishing technology tools, create new livelihoods as a form of increasing the income of the Alu Naga village community

Abstract

Dewasa ini, Bukan tidak mungkin masyarakat berkembang sesuai dengan harapan lingkungannya dan standar sosial yang ada di sana. Karena manusia adalah makhluk sosial, maka ada saatnya manusia membutuhkan bantuan dari orang lain yang berbagi lingkungan, bergaul, dan berinteraksi satu sama lain. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna tradisi Meretan dan Tenong serta sosial empowerment berbasis masyarakat dalam tradisi Meretan dan Tenong di Banten. Pada riset ini digunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatannya studi fenomenologi. Lokasi penelitian di Banten. Dengan 2 lokasi yang berbeda, lokasi pertama di Kp. Ciparahu, Desa Sumberjaya, Kecamatan Sumur Kabupaten Pandeglang, Sedangkan lokasi ke dua di Desa Pontang Kec. Pontang Kab. Serang. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data melalui metode Triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa bentuk bawaan tradisi Meretan menggunakan rantang atau baskom, yang didalamnya diisi dengan makanan pokok (beras putih) dan ditambahkan bahan pokok lainnya yaitu gula, kopi, penyedap rasa, mie bihun, dan mie sohun, Meretan tersebut dicatat di buku (buku sambung). Sedangkan bentuk bawaan tradisi Tenong menggunakan tempat tenong, rantang atau baskom, yang didalamnya diisi dengan beras putih, terkait Tenong tidak diwajibkan dicatat. Makna tradisi Meretan dan tradisi Tenong memiliki makna yang sama yaitu sebagai resiprositas, nilai kerukunan, wujud solidaritas, dan beban masyarakat. Sedangkan pemberdayaan sosial masyarakat di Banten salah satunya ialah melalui inisiatif berbasisi komunitas berbentuk budaya/tradisi Meretan dan Tenong sehingga tercipta community support kehidupan sosial yang rukun dan tentram serta saling tolong-menolong.

Abstract

Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Progam Keluarga Harapan mempengaruhi kesejahteraan masyarakat di Kampung Pipitan, Kelurahan Pipitan, Kecamatan Walantaka, Kota Serang, Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif inferensial dan deskriptif. Dari 43 keluarga penerima manfaat Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kampung Pipitan, 30 orang diantaranya menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup observasi dan penyebaran kuisioner. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi linear sederhana. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa  Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) berpengaruh positif terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat Kampung Pipitan, Kelurahan Pipitan, Kecamatan Walantaka, Kota Serang, Banten. Dimana diperoleh dari nilai signifikansi (Sig.) regresi linear sebesar 0.020 lebih kecil dari probabilitas 0.05, maka dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Variabel Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Pipitan, Kecamatan Walantaka, Kota Serang, Banten memiliki nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) pada uji regresi linear hanya sebesar 17,9%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 82,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang transformasi filantropi Islam melalui digitalisasi filantropi yang kini trendi. Digitalisasi filantropi Islam erat hubungannya dengan sebaran dakwah serta peningkatan keshalihan dan kemanusiaan. Digitalisasi telah memodernisasi keshalihan dalam pengamalan ajaran Islam melalui laman ZISWAF (Zakat, infaq dan shodaqah dan Wakaf) digital. Laman digital tidak hanya memudahkan pengguna dalam menunaikan kewajiban namun juga meningkatkan transparansi serta mobilisasi dan sebaran donasi yang tidak terbatas. Sejalan dengan itu tulisan ini bertujuan selain memaparkan bentuk digitalisasi filantropi Islam juga menganalisis dampak digitalisasi filantropi Islam. Tulisan ini bersumber dari penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan netnografi. Sumber-sumber digital dan pemberitaan media on line menjadi data utama dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa gerakan amal melalui laman digital telah memperkuat eksistensi filantropi Islam dan penguatan da’wah bil hal. Dakwah dengan aksi nyata yang dilakukan melalui platform digital semakin memperkuat promosi Islam sebagai agama yang inklusif, humanis dan rahmatan lil alamin. Tulisan ini memiliki keterbatasan baik dari sisi methodelogi maupun cakupan unit yang dianalisis untuk bisa ditindak lanjuti dalam penelitian berikutnya yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

Disaster situations require new strategies that are relevant to the problem context. The Disaster Resilient Village Program (Destana) is a disaster management effort that uses a Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (PRBBK) strategy. This research aims to look at implementing the Destana program in Garon Village, Balerejo District, Madiun Regency. This research method uses descriptive qualitative, data mining techniques using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The research results show that the implementation of the Destana program in Garon Village has not demonstrated a Community-Based Disaster Management approach, considering that there is no active participation from the community in the entire disaster management series. Community capacity in disaster management is also still not visible because there is no community organization, in this case, the community is still used as an object. The preparedness of the Garon Village community is still low in facing flood disasters, due to the lack of active community participation in the program. Thus, program managers need evaluation so that the approach used can be implemented substantively, and community capacity can be increased in dealing with disaster situations. Abstract

Kelapa Coconut has a central role in the lives of the people of Citeluk Village especially in Ciparay, even being a high commodity, considering that the plantation sector is a leading asset in the community Citeluk Village. Since a long time ago, this village was known as the largest coconut producer in Pandeglang Regency until it was dubbed as Citelukalapa Village, but the people in Citeluk Village were still not able to maximize the potential of the coconut properly. Along with the development of community initiatives, the people of Citeluk Village began to process coconuts to be more varied, one of which was processing coconuts into copra and the waste from the coconut fruit was used to make charcoal. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of community empowerment through processing coconut into copra and charcoal. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this research is that the empowerment of the community in Citeluk Village in processing coconut into copra and charcoal can increase welfare (income).

Abstract

In 1972 the Islamic Student Movement of Indonesia (PMII) decided to dissociate itself and declared out of the autonomous body Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). The conflict got worse when in the 2015 NU Congress in Jombang declared withdrawal of PMII back into autonomous body of NU or in this research called reconciliation. But the decision has not received legal reciprocity from the PMII. This study aims to analyze internal organizational communications conducted by the NU's Executive Board against PMII so that the PMII is structurally a truly part of the NU. The paradigm used in this research is constructivism with case study research method. Data collection is done through two ways: interview and documentation. From the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the reconciliation made by PBNU to bring PMII back into autonomous body of NU has not yet been successful. Internal communication by PBNU and PMII in this case is vertical communication - tends to be downward communication (from superiors to subordinates), which gives little room towards PMII. Furthermore, the dissemination of information / messages is done by a sequential method of 'who speaks to whom' pattern through people who have a central position. This method utilizes the leadership of each level of the PMII organizational structure to convey messages conveyed by PBNU to each member of the structure below.
