Abstract

This research purposed to know the differences of student cognitive critical thinking and psychomotor skills, along with knowing where was the better group between audio visual media and paper sheet in  student cognitive critical thinking and psychomotor skills as experiment guidelines . Critical thinking skills that analyzed were belonged to  priority, analyzed, synthesis, and evaluation aspects.This research was an quasi-experiment with the static pretest posttest group design. The populate was belonged to all student of XI IPA 1, XI IPA 3, and XI IPA 5. The sample was  given by cluster random sampling, and the result is XI IPA 1 as the group help by audio visual media, XI IPA 5 as paper sheet. The instruments  were  10 questions of critical thinking skill and psychomotor observation  sheet. Data were obtained  from posttest and psychomotor observation  scores. Data analyzing used independent sample T-test and different populate average estimation test.The results showed that there were differences of  student  cognitive critical thinking and psychomotor skills between of  the group that helped by audio visual media and paper sheet, along with the student cognitive critical thinking and psychomotor skills of audio visual media group are better than paper sheet, it was  because of the ranges of  different average populate estimation in cognitive aspect  was ranging from 0,1246 9,2313 and psychomotor was 7,752 12,906   for each α = 5%

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of student learning outcomes and ARIAS learning model assisted props on the material addition and subtraction of integers. This type of research is a field research with quantitative approach. The research design is pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. Samples were students of class VII A with total of 42 people were determined by purposive sampling. Data were collected by achievement test, interview, observation and documentation. The results showed that: (1) the average value of initial tests of students in qualifying failed at 52.54 and the average value of the final tests which are in good qualification of 80.18; and (2) ARIAS learning model props cards marked effectively used in material addition and subtraction of integers in class VII MTsN Banjar Selatan 2 with a gain value of 0.56 in the moderate category.                                                                                      Key Words: ARIAS learning model, integers, cards marked

Abstract

The process of misconceptions about the concepts of quantum physics in students needs to be comprehensively analyzed. This is because most of the revision process of student misconception is done directly by simply replacing the wrong explanation with the correct explanation. While to understand the theory and hypothesis of quantum physics phenomena requires abstract physics model and formal mathematical language. Modeling done by the mind sometimes does not require image image in the brain. As between the wave function and the particle position associated with the mathematical model. The misconceptions in quantum physics occur because of the wrong scientific conceptual modeling process. The scientific conceptual model is divided into four dimensions: domain, composition, structure and organization. Analysis of the misconception process modeling using these dimensions will be done on the phenomenon of quantum physics. The misunderstanding of the definition of the wave function concept Ѱ (x) occurs due to the incorrect dimensions of the models interactive structure. While the misconception of the concept of quantity of energy and the relationship of wave function with probability, occurs in the dimension of the behavioral structure of the model. In the concept of position measurement and momentum of quantum systems, errors occur in both structures.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengangkat konsep globalisasi dalam kerangka proses sosial. Ada empat tokoh yang saya pilih, yaitu Anthony Giddens, John Urry, George Ritzer dan Anna Tsing. Bagaimana Giddens mengungkapkan tentang globalisasi yang merombak kehidupan manusia. Bagaimana Ritzer mengungkapkan tentang term menariknya yaitu Globalization Of Nothing. Serta bagaimana John Urry dengan Global Complexity-nya melihat fenomena globalisasi sebagai fenomena yang kompleks. Terakhir,  memilih pemikiran globalisasi yang logikanya berbeda dari kebanyakan teori sosial tentang globalisasi, yaitu pemikiran Anna Tsing dalam Friction-nya. Tulisan ini menjadi pijakan teoritis untuk research  yang berkenaan dengan fenomena globalisasi di Indonesia. Sehingga arah dan tujuan tulisan ini sebenarnya adalah menemukan teoritis yang tepat untuk penelitian globalisasi pada ranah lokal di Indonesia. Tulisan ini berada dalam lingkup kepentingan untuk menemukan basis teoritis yang tepat dalam melihat fenomena globalisasi pada ranah lokal, yaitu melihat proses sosial berupa keterhubungan lokal yang satu dengan lokal yang lain sehingga membentuk jaringan atau koneksi global.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan tentang hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan bagaimana penggunaan bahasa baku dalam karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Ragam bahasa yang digunakan pada karya ilmiah adalah ragam baku tulis. Bahasa baku adalah bahasa standar yang digunakan dalam kalangan ilmiah. Ada kaidah-kaidah yang perlu dipenuhi dalam penulisan tersebut, yaitu sesuai dengan Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia Yang Disempurnakan (EYD).Hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah penulisan huruf kapital dan miring, bentuk penyerapan kata asing, penggunaan kata yang tidak tepat situasinya, pemotongan kata, dan kata-kata mubazir.

Abstract

Allah menciptakan segala sesuatu dengan ke-mahabesaranNya. Salah satu tanda kekuasan-Nya adalah penciptaan air yang memberi manfaat bagi kehidupan makhluk hidup di muka bumi. Air dalam Bahasa Arab disebut ?al-maa?. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui makna air dalam Al-Qur?an dalam perspektif sains. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan metode tafsir tematik, yaitu mengumpulkan bacaan yang berbicara tentang panca indera manusia, menentukan topik dan melakukan analisis dengan tafsir tahlili, dan menarik kesimpulan. Adapun hasilnya adalah air merupakan molekul yang diekspresikan dalam simbol kimiawi H2O, terdiri dari dua atom hidrogen dan satu atom oksigen. Kata ?????, Al-Qur?an banyak menyinggung segala hal yang berkenaan dengan air melalui kata-kata  lain yang senada, seperti kata ??????   (sungai), ? ?????  (laut), ?????? (sumber mata air), ???? (awan), ?????(air hujan) dan lain sebagainya. Jumlah penyebutan (?????  ) dalam bentuk  ma?rifat sebanyak 21 kali, sedangkan dalam bentuk  nakirah sebanyak 41  kali,  sehingga  total  jumlahnya  mencapai  62  kali penyebutan.

Abstract

Teaching English as a foreign language to students with special needs is somewhat different of those mainstream students. The teachers may face lots of difficulties and therefore,  they must apply different techniques in teaching the students. The goal of this study is to figure out the techniques applied for Teaching English to students with special educational needs. This study is conducted in a Senior high school for students with special needs (SMALB) in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The study is based on classroom observations and interview with the English teacher. The findings conclude that teacher applied six  different techniques in teaching English as follow; (1) transcription, (2) Question and Answer, (3) Repetition Drill, (4) Reading Aloud, (5) Memorization and (6) Reading aloud.

Abstract

The moral value conveyed by the author to the reader through works of fiction especially novels is useful and useful to the reader. This study aims to describe the moral values associated with social messages and expose the moral values associated with the religious message contained in the novel Tasawuf Cinta by M. Hilmi As'ad. The method used in this research is analytic descriptive method. The results of this study indicate the moral values associated with social messages are: (1) social in social life; (2) relations between human beings of religion, and (3) association between the opposite sex. The moral values associated with the religious message are: (1) the relationship of man and God; (2) human nature and conscience; (3) the personal freedom that man possesses; And (4) the dignity and dignity of each individual.
