Abstract

To depelop region could be give positif and negatif impact to the environment.Case studies give example could be impact to the soil, land and space in this area. In the implementation regulation of the Perda No. 15 , Year 2011-2031 should be followed by all stakeholder on the development planing in those area. The regulation guide the fuction in the pasal 2, as operational tool development in South Tangerang. The other words we call instrument guide sustainable development.

Abstract

Landslide problems can result in loss of life or property, environmental damage, destruction of infrastructure and public facilities, as well as disrupt the livelihood of the community. Purwakarta area is indicated as one of the distribution area of Subang claystone formation. This area will potentially somelandslides disasters. Track of rail traffic in this region requires the evaluation of the stability of soil for mitigation purposes. The results showed that the locations of landslide-prone areas lie in the intermediate group resistivity (sand or silty sand or its weathered) which rest on a group of high resistivity of compact claystone.

Abstract

Landslides prone areas can be occur due to a large slope, open slopes, large erosion rate, or a large infiltration. Landslide prone areas can be prevented by a stable slope engineering. Engineering of stable slopes can be integrated through a variety of methods with preliminary procedure : 1) Mapping of landslides prone areas, 2) Slope stability analysis through the study of Safety Factor, 3) Engineering of slope stabilization and integrated through the simulation stable slope, slope design and other engineering, 4) Environmental management and environmental monitoring, 5) Bio-engineering by utilizing plants as part of a stable slope engineering systems, namely as a preventive agent of erosion, reduction of infiltration and runoff flow, landslide prevention as well as strengthening the slopes . Engineering can use the model of Starlet (Stabilisati dan Rancangbangun Lereng Terpadu, or Engineering of Slope Stabilization and Integrated) involving the role of government officials, industrial and businessmen , residents / communities , and scientists . Kaliandra chosen to be a plant that is part of a stable slope engineering . Kaliandra plants have a good root, the tree canopy is not heavy, high-protein leaves for fodder, stems and twigs are dried for energy (fuelwood ) . These plants, in addition to prevention of landslides, will be useful for people and industry.

Abstract

Glagah beach is a turists area of beach and lagoon on the west and the iron sand mining area on the east of Serang river embouchure in Temon Sub-District, KulonProgo District of Yogyakarta Province. Information of Serang River flow characteristics, which are also influenced by the tide of sea water would be useful for the planning of the iron sand mining, especially the impact on groundwater behavior and the management of the lagoon in relation with the estuary. The study of water flow characteristics of Serang River downstream affected by tidal sea levels have been carried out by measuring water level (TMA) in three site location, three times twenty-four hours, as well as measurements of river discharge at two points. Hydrograph analysis was then performed and the analysis of the correlation between the water level (TMA) and the river discharges. The maximum and minimum daily fluctuations occur twice a day with a three-hour span between the maximum and minimum, ie at 00.00/ 12.00 a.m or 02.00 a.m, at 12.00 p.m or at 14:0 p.m, while the minimum occurs at 06.00 a.m or 08.00 a.m and at 18:00 p.m or 20:00 p.m. The effect of sea level fluctuations on the Serang River flow is about 11.3 Km away from the estuary. Based on the result of measurement and analysis, Serang river discharge are 4 m3 per second at the upstream location (4.5 km), and 4.5 m3/second (1.3 km) from the estuary..

Abstract

Explorative and descriptive are typical research of geology. Quantitative analysis is limited whereas cost research is expensive. Actually, there are some aspects of geology require quantitative analysis, mainly in vertical and lateral distribution. They need tool for do it.Several quantitative themes of geological research are slope analysis, erosion-sedimentation calculation, calculation of minerals proportion, calculation of chemical elements proportion, calculation of drainage density, calculation of fracture, etc. They need powerful tool for support data analysis with high accuracy. Many soft ware of data processor are available. They include graphical and non-graphical data. We can use that soft ware as tool for data analysis. Nevertheless, a part of them have limited in integrated data analysis. Commonly, Geographic Information System (GIS) soft ware can become choice. The available specification comprehension of soft ware can upgrade quality of data analysis.
