Abstract

Pencarian jalur alternatif pada saat terjadi kemacetan atau penutupan jalan bisadilakukan dengan mengingat setiap jalan yang terhubung dengan jalan terse'but, tapi hal inihanya bisa dilakukan oleh pengguna jasa kendaraan yang sudah mengenal jalan tersebut.Bentuk permasalahan yang terjadi diubah dalam bentuk graf dimana tiap titik merupakanperwujudan dari tiap persimpangan yang ada pada peta, sedangkan jaraknya diwujudkan dalambentuk garis.Pencarian jaraknya adalah dimulai dengan penginputan titik asal dan titik tujuan. Melaluiperhitungan dengan algoritma genetika maka akan didapat jalur yang menurut sistemmerupakan jalur yang dapat dilewati, dan jika terjadinya kemacetan pada jalur tersebut sistem akan mencari ulang jalur alternatifnya dengan titik awal adalah persimpangan dimanakemacetan terjadi.Algoritma Genetika merupakan algoritma pencarian yang berdasarkan pada genetik danseleksi alam. Dikarena prosesnya menggunakan evolusi yang diwakili dengan bilangan random,maka hasil yang didapat bervariasi mulai dari diketahui jalur alternatif paling baik, sampai jaluryang diinginkan tidak didapat.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang demikian pesat, mengakibatkan semakin banyak orang yang menggunakannya dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan mereka. Penetrasi teknologi yang mengglobal tersebut diperhadapkan pada latar belakang budaya pengguna yang berbagai macam. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan banyak pengguna yang mengalami kesulitan ketika berusaha memahami antarmuka piranti yang digunakan. Makalah ini merupakan penelitian studi pustaka yang dilakukan penulis, untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh dalam perancangan antarmuka pengguna. Salah satu kunci keberhasilan perancangan antarmuka yang baik, adalah dengan memahami dan mempertimbangkan dimensi budaya seperti yang telah dikemukakan oleh Hall dan Hofstede. Abstract

In numerical methods, finding the root of an equation involves iterations to find an estimated root approximating the original root. Several methods that can be used to find the root are Fixed-Point Iteration Method, Newton-Raphson Method, Secant Method and the Muller Method. This learning software is developed to provide a learning media for students to learn how to find the root of an equation. It contains animated explanation of the study material, case study and exercises. The software then tested to users using Usability Test, namely compatibility, consistency, flexibility, learnability, perceptual limitation, and minimal action. Tests performed to undergraduate students who have learned how to find equation root yield these results: Compatibility 86.13%, Consistency 83.73%, Flexibility 84.23%, Learnability 81.87%, Minimal Action 84.80%, and Perceptual Limitation 85.07%. On the other hand, tests performed to undergraduate students who have never learned how to find equation root yield these results: Compatibility 85.33%, Consistency 86.67%, Flexibility 83.47%, Learnability 85.87%, Minimal Action 87.20%, and Perceptual Limitation 82.67%.

Abstract

Data compression is a very important process in the world that has been vastly using digital files, such as for texts, images, sounds or videos. Those digital files has a varied size and often taking disk storage spaces. To overcome this problem, many experts created compression algorithms, both for lossy and lossless compression. This research discusses about testing of four lossless compression algorithms that applied for text files, such as LZ77, Static Huffman, LZ77 combined with Static Huffman, and Deflate. Performance comparison of the four algorithms is measured by obtaining the compression ratio. From the test results can be concluded that the Deflate algorithm is the best algorithm due to the use of multiple modes, i.e. uncompressed mode, LZ77 combined with Static Huffman mode, and LZ77 combined with Dynamic Huffman Coding mode. The results also showed that the Deflate algorithm can compress text files and generates an average compression ratio of 38.84%.

Abstract

Kebutuhan konsumen terhadap informasi dalam bentuk jurnal atau artikel ilmiahsemakin meningkat, sehingga pengelompokan jurnal dibutuhkan untuk mempermudahpencarian informasi. Topik jurnal diharapkan dapat mewakili isi jurnal, tanpa harusmembaca secara keseluruhan. Dalam kenyataannya, pengelompokan jurnal yangmengacu topit</kategori tertentu sulit dilakukan jika hanya mengandalkan query biasa.-Sistem klasifikasi dan pencarian jurnal dengan metode Naive Bayes dan VectorSpace Model dengan pendekatan Cosine diharapkan membantu pengguna dalampenentuan topik/kategori dan menghasilkan daftar jurnal berdasarkan urutan tingkatkemiripan. Proses text mining dilakukan untuk mempersiapkan kebutuhan dasar sistem.Tahapan proses text mining adalah text preprocessrng dengan parsing, texttransformation dengan stemming dan sfoprazords removal, feature setection dan-patterndiscovery.Klasifikasi Naive Bayes menghasilkan prediksi baik jika vektor yang terbentukmewakili setiap kategori. Sedangkan pencarian Vector Space Uoabt denganpendekatan Cosrne menghasilkan recallsebesar 54.8% dan precision sebesar 60.7%.Oleh karena itu, dibangun sistem klasifikasi dan pencarian yang dapat membantupengguna, karena dilengkapi pencarian detil dengan pengetahuan label kategori hasilklasifikasi dan fitur metadata.

Abstract

Student academic records management and assessment are among the vital processes in any higher education institution. These processes must be efficient and systematic. The significant problems of the current system that is holding the student’s academic record have been observed and identified. Based upon the limitations and the challenges on the existing procedures of a manual storing and archiving of the students’ academic records, a centralized students’ academic record management system was proposed. This project primarily aimed to develop a computerized student academic record management system in order to help DMC College Foundation Incorporated (DMCCFI) Philippines improve its performance in the registrar services, specifically in the assessment and evaluation of student records. The newly developed system is integrated with business intelligence. It offers modules such as grade submission, assessment, and student kiosk with security feature. The development model included Rapid Application Development (RAD). The tools used in the development are Windows Server 2008 R2, DevExpress, Microsoft Visual Studio C#, MSSQL, and SmartDraw. Based on the system evaluation, the proposed system is very good with an aggregate mean of 4.55. The result implies that the MIS staff, coordinators and dean strongly agree that the proposed system is highly acceptable. In terms of usability, the proposed system is rated with an aggregate mean of 6.43 described as “Strongly Agree.” It was concluded that the developed system offers the capabilities and functions that can help improve the performance of the registrar services in DMCCFI and is highly recommended for immediate utilization by DMCCFI.

Abstract

Steganografi adalah salah satu cara mengamankan pengiriman pengiriman pesan. Spread spektrum dan least significant bit (LSB) adalah metode steganografi umum yang sering digunakan. Masukan dari proses embedding tersebut akan menjadi file gambar jenis BMP dan JPEG dan file teks, sedangkan keluaran akan menjadi sebuah file teks. Hasil file gambar pembanding antara masukan dan keluaran tidak menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan, seperti untuk file teks. Metode LSB memiliki proses embedding dan proses ekstraksi lebih cepat daripada spread spectrum. Namun untuk spread spektrum, keamanan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan LSB. Hasil dari proses embedding gambar jenis BMP tidak akan jauh berbeda dari gambar aslinya jika dibandingkan dengan JPEG karena jenis BMP telah dipadatkan.

Abstract

Web server plays a vital role on serving requests from clients. As Internet users grows so fast, the request number increases significantly, thus reducing the overall performance of the web server. One solution is to implement a load balancing system.In this paper, we implement load balancing with Linux Virtual Server to distribute the load to several machines within a cluster. We compared Round Robbin and Least Connection algorithm. The study reveals that load balancing using LVS-NAT can double the throughput output compared to single web server, but less significant on response time and CPU utilization. Implementing LVS-NAT using round robbin algorithm is more robust in optimizing the throughput, CPU utilization, and response time compared to least connection.

Abstract

By increasing amounts of data, a system gets more complex in accessing and processing, especially if the system is used to process information and makes a decision. Hybrid Intelligent Information System is a combination of information systems and expert systems. The system is better able to process the data and information, that generated be some knowledge to support decision making. Some application needs to process complex and large data, such as Medical Information Systems. Determination of medical treatment provided by nurses on patients can be obtained from the grievances felt by the patient and the history of medical treatment was ever given. Merger between expert systems and information systems are embedded in a computer is expected to facilitate the nurse in providing medical treatment to patients. Certainty Factor method was chosen to implement the expert system. Certainty Factor calculates the level of trust and user response will determine a nursing diagnosis decisions. After analyzing and testing, it was concluded that the Hybrid Intelligent Information System for Nursing Diagnosis can generate nursing diagnoses with 93.796% accuracy of diagnosis in 20 cases of a given expert.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi telah berkembang dengan pesat dan membawa banyakparadigma perubahan dalam aktivitas manusia dalam betajar dan bekeda. Perkembanganteknologi informasi saat ini cenderung rnengarah pada sistem terdistribusi (client/sen'er)dimana fungsi sebuah komputer dapat digunakan secara terkoordinasi dengan beberapakomputer lainnya. Perkernbangan tersebut dituntut untuk agar dapat dioperasionalkan dandimanfaatkan secara optimal di berbagai bidang. Dalam bidang pendidikan perkembanganteknologi client/server dapat dirnanfaatkan untuk membuat sistem ujian terkomputerisasi.Salah satu metode teknologi client/server adalah RMI. Artikel ini membahas bagaimanaimplementasi RMI pada tes online termasuk didalamnya teknologi tambahanyangdibutuhkanuntuk mendukung pengimplementasian, dan keunggulan teknologi ini.
