Abstract

Intersections are part of roads where currents from various directions or directions meet. That is why at the intersection there is a conflict between the currents from opposite directions and cutting each other, resulting in congestion along the arm intersection.At the intersection, congestion is often caused by side obstacles, the high population of vehicles that is not balanced with the availability of road facilities. one of the intersections that at certain times experiences conflicts and buildup of vehicles, that is at the Tirto Rahayu intersection in Malang, at this intersection often there is a buildup of vehicles during rush hour. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of the intersection, the level of service and alternative handling. The method used is quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the traffic volume characteristics in the first week are greater than the second week with the number of the first week: 974.6 pcu / hour and the second week: 843.1 pcu / hour, with a capacity of 1461.6. The degree of saturation is 0.62 and the level of service is C.

Abstract

Technology in the world of construction is growing rapidly marked by the emergence of various new innovations, both in terms of equipment, materials, and methods of implementation. One of the construction work that has new innovations is formwork work. At present various kinds of materials with better quality have started to be used for construction work, especially for formwork material for high rise building project work. This requires an analysis of the type of formwork material that will be used. The results of the analysis of the calculation of the cost of formwork for column work in the construction of Begawan Apartment Malang Area GWT (Ground Water Tank) using pre-cast formwork is cheaper or 4% smaller than the use of conventional formwork material. For the total cost of column formwork using pre-printed Rp. 5.687.529,50, using conventional formwork in the amount of Rp.27.316.805,67 and the difference in both of them in the amount of Rp.22.629.276,17. From the analysis of observations of conventional and preprinted formwork time, it can be seen that conventional formwork time has 18 days while conventional formwork work has 12 days.

Abstract

The use of fine aggregates and coarse aggregates in Southwest Sumba Regency as composers of concrete mixes for construction work in general is still dependent on sea sand and natural gravel (mountain rocks) whose potential is quite large. This research aims to; 1) knowing the characteristics of sea sand and natural gravel (mountain rocks) of West Sumba 2) knowing the compressive strength of concrete and tensile strength produced from sea sand and natural gravel (mountain rocks) Southwest Sumba; This study is a sample-based laboratory study and analysis of the characteristics of aggregate and compressive tests. Southwest Sumba aggregates generally meet the requirements for testing aggregate characteristics. Southwest Sumba sea sand with equipment modulus 3,214 and entering zone 2 (sand somewhat coarse) and coarse aggregate (Southwest Sumba gravel) with fineness modulus 4.65 and entering zone.40 mm. The highest compressive strength of concrete from the age of the concrete to the end is obtained from Southwest Sumba sea sand with a compressive strength of 17,486 MPa (7 days concrete age), 26,901 MPa (28 days concrete age).

Abstract

The world of construction in Indonesia is growing rapidly to help meet people's needs, give them comfort, and help them to have advanced prosperity. For this reason, the number of construction projects currently in progress is large, so engineers must pay attention to having good quality construction. To get good quality construction results, there are three aspects that must be considered: cost, quality, and time. the three aspects are very high, especially related to the cost aspect. A good, accurate, and efficient budget plan is reflected in the good results of the project. An efficient budget plan will not only make the project successful, but will also benefit the engineer. Before starting a project, the engineer needs to make a budget plan, the first is the Cost Budget Plan (RAB). Therefore, the authors analyze the Permen PU 28 / PRT / M / 2016 budget plan for the work of the integrated service building building of the tribhuwana tunggadewi malang university. Abstract

Evaluation The high volume of traffic that passes through the Temple Road on the stage causes the meeting of vehicles that are quite dense from various directions of the road which results in a buildup of vehicles in every traffic jam during rush hour such as the morning when the community departs for activities, during the day and in the afternoon when the community returns home from their activities. The buildup of vehicles was caused by the large number of vehicles that passed, therefore research was carried out on these roads. As for this research a vehicle volume survey, side obstacle survey, and road geometry survey were then analyzed using the calculation method from the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997). Based on the results of the analysis, the maximum volume on the Candi Panggung road segment is 2814 ken / hour and 1631.9 amp / hour with the occurrence of sidebarriers per 200 m / hour at peak hours on the Candi Panggung road at 14.6 SMP / hour. The saturation degree (DS) value on the Candi Panggung street based on the calculation result is 1.32smp / hour. The level of road service on Candi Panggung street is at the level ofservice F (very low).

Abstract

In the development of building design today, the aspect of efficiency is preferred. One example is in the construction of modern buildings, piping installation is needed to accommodate mechanical and electrical needs. One alternative plan to skip the piping installation is give an opening in the beam. The aim of this research is to find out how big the effect of giving a number of variations in the number of openings in the concrete compression zone to the strength and flexural strength of reinforced concrete beams. Tests carried out are flexural tests with beam test specimens measuring (15 x 25 x 200) cm. Variations of this study are the number of openings with a diameter of 5 cm, amounting to two openings (BB2) and four openings (BB4) and beams without openings (BK). From the results of the study showed that the provision of openings in the tensile zone of the concrete reduced the flexural strength although it was not significant. When compared with BK, the reduction of flexural strength for BB2 beams is 1.26% and the reduction for BB4 beams is 5.66%.

Abstract

Jl. Dadaprejo ? Jl. Ir. Soekarno ? Jl. Dr. Moh. Hatta, who is the area of Batu City Pendem, is one of the intersections that has a high volume of traffic because the intersection is a path leading to tourist attractions and also to several cities. The problem that occurs at the Pendem intersection is the absence of a vehicle controller resulting in traffic congestion and frequent accidents. To overcome the traffic conflict at the Pendem intersection, a development of supporting facilities and anfrastructure is needed, aspecially on improving road networks, crossing planning. Traffic volume data is taken for 14 days (2 weeks) which can the be explored traffic volume desity at rush hour even on weekends. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of existing intersections and analyze alternative solutions to problems that occur at the Pendem intersection.

Abstract

A project can be said to be successful if the implementation process can be completed on time as planned. Inappropriate planning and control in a project can result in waste of resources and will also lead to failure in achieving the objectives of the project. Therefore, in planning a project schedule using the 2013 Microsoft Project Professional Program, the first thing to do is to enter the activity data that will be carried out such as the project start date, type of activity, duration of time, resources, and so forth. In the planning and controlling stages of the project schedule using the 2013 Professional Project, one method that can be done is to add overtime to an activity if there is a delay. From the planning and control of the schedule carried out on the Integrated Service Building Structure building project at the University of Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Malang using the 2013 Microsoft Project Program for 68 days, and in the control phase there are several work items that experience a Critical trajectory. extra overtime hours. So that work items that experience a critical trajectory can be overcome.

Abstract

Many ways that can be done to preserve food, namely through the use of agricultural or biomass waste such as bamboo. Utilization can be used as a safe natural food preservative for the community. In order to obtain liquid smoke quality and safe to consume it is necessary engineering on condenser conduit pipes so that in this study need a performance test of condenser conduit pipe on pyrolysis reactor equipment. The purpose of this research is to determine the performance quality of long condenser conduit pipe on pyrolysis reactor device to liquid smoke quality. In this study, pyrolysis and purification process of liquid smoke from bamboo using pyrolysis reactor at optimum operating conditions where the length of condenser connecting pipes are used respectively 43 cm, 53 cm and 63 cm at 250 ?C for 1.5 hours. The results of this study show that the liquid smoke rendement obtained from each condenser connecting pipeline 43 cm, 53 cm and 63 cm is 19,5%; 19,24%; 17,55%, missing component is 40,54%; 41,68%; 47,62% and performance of pyrolysis reactor 453,49 g/h.m; 363,02 g/h.m; 278,57 g/h.m. The length of condenser connecting pipes having good pyrolysis reactor performance is 43 cm.

Abstract

Cooking oil is one of the important needs of the community in meeting their daily needs. The use of repeated cooking oil manufacturers with high heating can lead to oxidation of oil which can cause the composition of the oil to change and produce compounds that have a rancid odor. This study aims to determine the effect of adding liquid smoke to the rancidity of the manufacturer's cooking oil with the most effective volume based on the storage time. Liquid smoke from rice husk is obtained from the pyrolysis process of rice husk which contains components of cellusosa, hemicellulose and lignin which produce phenol compounds, acid compounds and derivatives, which can be used as antioxidants to prevent rancidity in the manufacturer's cooking oil. The parameters used in the analysis of the quality of the manufacturer's cooking oil are the test of the levels of free fatty acids, acid numbers, and peroxide numbers. The results showed that the higher the volume of liquid smoke added, the smaller the increase in levels of free fatty acids, acid numbers and peroxide numbers, the most effective volume of liquid smoke was 27 ml at 1 week storage time
