Abstract

Principally, a film is a product of recorded media in which a socio-cultural identity included. It is multi function. People or viewers via film find as a mirror to look at the social, cultural, political and economical dynamic of their life. In one side , film seems just a canalization of their life. But the other side film appears as an escapism of an individual of man from the fluctuation of life. Nevertheless, a film can be a reflection that society also reflect the way of life. Abstract

Leather Puppet is a traditional performing theatre . In Its performance, there is some drama elements in which particularly identity with the drama elements in television. Both are separated by the medium of the performance. Television drama is created certainly suitable for television format. Where as wayang kulit or leather puppet has its format namely pakeliran or live performance. In order to switch and match the previous format into television format it must fulfill some criteria of course from the basis of television format.Keyword : leather puppet performing, television format

Abstract

The Press Independency that have been opening and tend to be bold to voice feeling and all condition starts to counter each other in their news, headlines, and illustrations. Including, PDIP ( Partai Demokratik Indoesia Perjuangan) shows in its tabloid ‘Demokrat’ that appears the slogan ‘yang penting srudukannya bung’ more over in which the cover illustrates Amien Rais as if a vampire creature ( makluk vampir). This illustration images encourage the PAN’ s (Partai Amanat Nasional anger. This seems to be a part of the graphics design function as a provocation to the consumers. A producer or program maker of a audio visual have to posses the sense of creativity in searching the material of program production. This can be appeared from the experience, education and critical attitude. The producer who does not have a clear vision will produce an audio visual product that is limit quality and duplicate another programs that have been ever exist. In the advertising industry, the workers have to birth the interesting and fresh ideas in order to communicate the products. The interesting and fresh ideas need the highly creativity. The need to be a high creative creator causes the idea that is differently anyway and irrelevant with the characteristic of the products. Abstract

In nowadays context, Javanese people in Suriname seems to be something un expectable. They have been living far away from the mother land since a century ago. This kind condition not only restricted the communication within their ancestors but loose also the access into their cultural and identity references. Who really am I? Where did I Come from ? and What is my goal here? There are some frequent questions. Following the technology, here , is internet , we now able to see that Javanese people in Suriname can say the origin of their Javanese identity. Is it a deconstruction ? or a reflexive media to show their origin identity. Keyword : Javanese, Suriname, identity
