Planning of wayang boneka for children is supposed to be used as a developing media for behavior and basic ability shaping for play group children. This puppet can be extended personally as a game and in a group as a performance. It is defferent from other puppet performance. In wayang boneka performance, children act as the puppet, the dubber even the musician. The performance form can make them work cooperatively, self confidence, disciplined, responsible, and appraise each other.Keyword : wayang boneka, game, performance,play group children

This article discusses about the development of puppety recently (2008) which based on an observation, it tends to develop forwards entertaining form as commercial commodities. The problem will be analyzed with Raymon William theory about 3 cultural powers is one historical period. From the analysis, it can be found that pupperty art can influence society and on the contary, pakeliran can be influenced by any changes in society. Tinjauan Perpektif Etik Naskah Srikandi Meguru Manah Mardjono Mardjono

This article studies about wayang story Srikandi Meguru Manah from perspective etchic side. This activities of main characters, Srikandi and Arjuna are analyzed to know about the contained morality. From the analyses it can be found that Srikandi who leaves the palace without her parentsâ€™ permission is considered to be unworthy. Their behavior is considered to be against the palace value even thought it is meant to save palace. Arjuna is also considered to have less ethic for he places Srikandi in a pleasure garden (taman) when he teaches her technique of shooting by bow and arrow. As a married knight, Arjuna shouldnâ€™t do that. On the other hand, their parents donâ€™t accuse them and they even married them off.Keyword : ethic, story, wayang.

Kajian Semiotika Sumping Sekar Kluwih Wayang Kulit Purwa Sugeng Nugroho

This article talks about the aesthetic and symbolic meaning of sumping sekar kluwih in Surakarta purwa shadow puppet eith hermeneutic approach and semiotic analysis. Based on the aesthetic study, the decision of sumping model depends on space aspect and proportion with other accessories which are accessories which are close and/or related to it covering : sanggul, irah-irahan and praba. According to symbolic study sumping sekar kluwih is used by the character in shadow puppet that have character, attitude,cleverness,supernatural power,behavior, and/or live journey which is : (1) more than character positively (Java: Luwih ing sapepadha);(2) unusual(java: linuwih); and (3) unnatural or excessive (java : Kliwat).Keyword : sekar kluwih, sumping of purwa shadow puppet, semiotics.

The term of sanggit in Surakarta puppetry is well known and its existence cannot be separated. For the reason, a dalang should prepare sanggit lakon which will be presented when he would like to have performance because garap sanggit produces certain effect to the audiences. In Javanese view, lakon Baratayuda is still believed to be sacred for it has strong magic. That is why a dalang who would like to perform Baratayuda should be careful in making sanggit lakon that will be presented. Joko Santoso is one pf the dalang who often present lakon Baratayuda. How his sanggit lakon is and he is always constant or not in his presentation. This article would like to explain one of his sanggit is presenting Baratayuda for bersih desa in Turus Polanharjo, Klaten in 2002.Keyword : Baratayuda, sanggit lakon

Review of learning strategy in Praktik Pedalangan(puppetry practice) subject matter is based on many problems. The material given is hard enough so that the students final score is not good. The strategy taken overcome the problems is by applying active learning model. Try out shows that SAP (the lecture items) and GBPP (the guidelines for teaching programs)are compsed based on the previous SAP and GBPP. Teaching material is provided in a book while teaching media is provided in CD. Lecture strategy is executed with coqnitive sharpening system, verbal instruction, demonstration, interpretation,evaluation,and creativities. There is an increase in the final score of the students after the application of active learning strategy to Praktik Pedalangan III.Keyword : model, active learning, Praktik pedalangan(pupperty practice).

Planning the doll of adolescent puppet is creating the puppet doll especially for the adolescene. It is supposed to be a media for character education and entertainment. For the moment, puppet has been focused on the adult problems so that adolscene world has been left, consequently, we lack the adolescent appreciation toward puppet. For the reason we make a set of shadow puppet doll which is physically, suitable to the development of adolescent physic that is realistic and romantic.Keyword : puppet doll, adolescent,plan.
