Abstract

Temple is an ancient architecture heritage of Indonesian classic period, move in Hindust and Budhist culture about V until XV century. Temple is one of culture aspect influence India country together with movement of Hindust and Budhist in Indonesia. The form of temple got an influence from Indian, but the world of temple it self not from India. Foremely the people thing that temple is the place burial of King, whereas it is as a King servitude symbol.From the explanation above can be sumarized that temple is the artistic combination betwen an cestors worship and Indian stupa. Abstract

This article is taken from the result of the research by the title “Kriya Wayang Krucil di Dukuh Turus Desa Trenyang Kecamatan Sumberpucung Kab. Malang”, which mean for knowing the real condition of wayang krucil craft in Malang recently. So that for the next time it will be possible to develop the wayang krucil craft of Malangan by increasing the skill and the capability of their craftman. The type of research used here is Qualitative Descriptive. The subject is wayang krucil in Dukuh Turus Desa Trenyang Kec. Sumberpucung Kab. Malang. The sourches of the data are the numbers of wayang krucuil, some craftman, and some appreciators of traditional art form Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). The data is taken by the researcher by using interview and observation methods. After that, the researcher analyzing the data by Qualitative Descriptive Technique to the ornament and visual element of wayang krucil, and also the visual changes of them. In this article, you will know the exposition of the real condition of the instruments and the materials used by the craftman, which are very limited and simple, the capabilities of the craftman who need to be increased, the potential art characteristics (the visual element and ornamen) of wayang krucil is very interesting, and the changes of visual element the wayang krucil ensharped Malangan style which is different with other places in Indonesia, especially from Central Java. From the results of this reseach, it is hoped that there will be any attention from all of us. Perhaps we can give them some production equipments, skill training, experiments of technique in producing wayang krucil, or even by opening the nets of selling the production of wayang krucil.

Abstract

Broadcasting media is very important for human life alteration. Radio and television are broadcasting medias which are efisien to reach large audiences. Media has a big attention for disaster, such as earthquake that happened in Yogyakarta. Disaster usually creates uncertain situation. It is also as a big news to be broadcasted by the media. Media must have a control function for the government and social institutions. National television is also limited in spreading/broadcasting informations in a long duration because the television must give an up to date information or we call it a hot news. That is why local media must take more roles in this recovering process.Keyword: Media, Penyiaran, Pasca Bencana.

Abstract

Rumah Tradisional Jawa, khususnya Rumah Joglo merupakan cermin nilai budaya Jawa yang masih amat jelas nampak dalam perwujudan bentuk, struktur, tata ruang dan ragam hiasnya. Bentuk fisik Rumah Joglo, selain memiliki rasa keindahan (estetika), ia juga terikat nilai-nilai budaya yang berlaku dalam masyarakat khususnya masyarakat Jawa. Pembagian ruang pada Rumah Tradisional Jawa, amat jelas dikerjakan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai budaya yang berlaku. Sementara itu bentuk dan pola ragam hias rumah juga tidak bebas dari pengaruh nilai budaya dan keyakinan yang mendominasi masyarakat. Kenyataan ini menunjukkan betapa penting artinya rumah tradisional sebagai salah satu cermin kebudayaan, sekurang-kurangnya mengandung nilai yang berlaku dalam masyarakat. Pada masa sekarang nilainilai yang berkembang dalam masyarakat semakin beragam dan terbuka (open society). Pada masyarakat demikian, beragamnya nilai-nilai yang berkembang disebabkan oleh kebutuhankebutuhan dari anggota masyarakatnya yang semakin beragam pula. Nilai-nilai budaya masyarakat yang beragam ini memberi peluang pada berubahnya nilai-nilai budaya Jawa. Demikian juga nilai-nilai estetika Rumah Tradisional Jawa, khususnya Rumah Joglo yang berkembang pada masyarakat beragam dan terbuka seperti ini, besar kemungkinan akan mengalami perubahan dan perkembangan. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan pada perkembangan dan perubahan kebutuhan masyarakat pada masa sekarang, terjadi pula perubahan pada arsitektur bangunan Rumah Joglo. Perubahan-perubahan itu antara lain meliputi perubahan fungsi dan status, proporsi dan skala/dimensi, sifat dan ciri khas, sistem struktur dan bahan, penampilan serta setting.Key Word : Aesthetic, Rumah Joglo, transformation

Abstract

Human life style being practical completely, hygienic and efficient have an effect on to room as place have activity, especially kitchen room. Present day kitchen design raced by a technological progress have succeeded to make the kitchen form look like the clinic laboratory with the electric all supply, practical, organizational and healthy consecutively. This result kitchen design tend to the people mention it with the modern kitchen term. Especial principle which must be paid attention in arranging kitchen is arranging activity sequence which is often referred with the term “ trilateral activity pattern”. This trilateral activity pattern represent the distance which must be gone through by user between sinks, stove and refrigerator, representing critical shares in the plan kitchen. Arrange the sequence work to have an effect on to model of kitchen settlement. Desainers divide the kitchen model become 5 model, that is model U, Model L, parallel of wall model, the parallel model, and kitchen of the island model. Other factor which must be paid attention in arranging kitchen is treatment factor. Take care of the kitchen require to pay attention the followings, human factor being, factor of material and equipments factor. The factors have an effect on to durabel level of kitchen. In writing this article, writer try to analyse the problems which emerge in kitchen settlement and try to look for its resolving relied only by book study.Key word: Kitchen set, tata urutan kerja, sirkulasi, model dapur, perawatan

Abstract

Revitalisation is effort that reanimates an area. In case of Taman Sari area in Salatiga, revitalises done through change of function according to street vendor shopping centre with basic planning the spirit of place. Spirit of place (Genius Loci) is soul from place, representing Roman concept in effort to find the history root, cultural, and also character of place. To dig the spirit of place from non physical face (activity) can be done by using superimposes map, earn through history stemming explorations from literature and informant. Data result by verbal explorations must be accompanied with authentic data in map and photo form. The problem is realizing the street vendor shopping centre planning area with basis spirit of place to returning the area that be able to generator of commerce and recreation area. There are 3 problems lifted. First problem is appropriate revitalises area as same as the early function as town garden (open public space) by considering the spirit of place. The target is to increase area performance that representing commerce node in town. Second, revitalises in Taman Sari use street vendor shopping centre concept equipped by the supporter facility and area element that under colour by spirit of place. Third, place for street vendor and public space with basic spirit of place, processing the street furniture, skyline, the situation, colour element, and the green belt.Keyword: Revitalisation, Spirit of Place, Street Vendor Shopping Centre
