Abstract

Research Background : In the process of childbirth, there is often a tear in the birth canal, especially in the perineum, which is known as a ruptured perineum. Some herbal ingredients that are thought to be healing wounds are nyamplung seed oil/tamanu oil (Calophyllum inophyllum L.), red ginger oil (Zingiber officinale var rubrum) and marigold flower oil/calendula oil (Calendula officinalis). Calendula ointment has the benefit of healing episiotomy wounds faster than the use of povidone iodine.Research Objective: To determine the effectiveness of giving calendula oil herbal ingredients to wound healing in female white rats.Research Methods: Laboratory experimental research using a completely randomized design using the Post Test Only Control Group Design pattern. The population in this study were female white rats (Rattus norvegicus). The sample selection was used by simple random sampling. Univariate analysis of wound healing was performed to obtain the mean ± SD and bivariate analysis using one-way ANOVA using computer software. The results of the study: The results of statistical tests showed that the One way Anova test obtained p value = 0.000 with a value of = 0.05 (p < ) where the administration of Calendula Oil on white rat wounds was more effective than without treatment. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that giving calendula oil to female white rats is effective in healing wounds.

Abstract

According to Survey Demografi Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) at 2018, it is said that adolescents who have knowledge about reproductive health are still lacking with a percentage of 35.3% of female adolescents and 31.2% of male adolescents aged 12-19 years. Individuals have reached a developmental transition that is closer to adulthood. This growth and development is not only experienced by normal adolescents but also experienced by adolescents with disabilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of family communication and adolescent sexual behavior in the UDP community in Bukittinggi City. This type of research is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional design. The population of this study were all youth with disabilities (deaf) who were in the Umbrella Disability Project (UDP) community as many as 30 respondents. The sampling technique was carried out by total sampling. The results of this study were almost half (43.3%) of respondents had poor family communication levels and less than half (33.3%) of respondents had poor sexual behavior. After carrying out the Chi-square analysis test, it was found that there was a significant relationship between the level of family communication and the sexual behavior of adolescents with disabilities in the UDP community in Bukittinggi City (p < 0.05). Based on this research, it is concluded that adolescents with disabilities during their growth and development need special attention, especially parents and families to prevent risky sexual behavior so that it is not difficult for them to discuss efforts to prevent negative sexual behavior in society

Abstract

Background: Postpartum depression (PPD) is a psychological disorder experienced by mothers at 4 weeks to 6 months postpartum. One of the risk factors for postpartum depression is the type of delivery. The mode of delivery in its effect on postpartum depression has been studied extensively with conflicting results whether vaginal delivery or cesarean section (CS) that can affect postpartum depression (Rauh et al., 2012). Methods: This is a systematic literature review with a research question using PICO standard namely "What is the correlation between mode of delivery and postpartum depression?". 325 literature were obtained from five different databases. The screening was carried out according to PRISMA flowchart and bringing in a total of 21 literature to be reviewed. Results: Most of the literature reported that mothers with CS have higher EPDS scores than mothers with vaginal delivery. One literature stated that mothers with CS were more protected and less prone to PPD, and other studies stated that the method of delivery was not associated with PPD. Conclusion: Delivery mode is associated with postpartum depression in most studies. Mothers with CS are more at risk of exposure to PPD than mothers with vaginal delivery

Abstract

Introduction: This study was conducted to show that early prevention and treatment of cervical cancer can save on treatment costs. Cervical cancer is one of the biggest threats to women's health. This is related to the low awareness of women who have had active sexual relations in carrying out early detection of cervical cancer so that it can increase the incidence of cervical cancer. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social support and client satisfaction on IVA service satisfaction by public health center officers. Methods: This study used an observational analytic study with a retrospective cohort design. The sample size used was 70 respondents with the same distribution in each control group and the exposed group, each using 35 respondents. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling. Univariate analysis using Chi-Square test. Bivariate analysis using Spearman correlation test. Results: The results of Univariate analysis in the control group and the exposed group showed that age (p= 0.4), education (p= 0.136), occupation (p= 0.622), length of marriage (p= 0.073), number of sexual partners (p= 0.073). = 0.602) and the number of children (p = 0.151). The results of bivariate analysis showed that husband's support (p= 0.735), mother's support (p= 0.984), health cadre support (p= 0.320) and peer support (p= 0.725). There is no relationship/correlation between social support and service satisfaction. Conclusion: There are other factors that can affect the satisfaction of women of childbearing age with early detection of cervical cancer (VIA) apart from social support.

Abstract

Betel leaves and areca nut can form excessive connective or fibrous tissue in the submucosa. At the end of pregnancy, due to aging of the placenta, there is also a decrease in the estrogen which can affect the volume of cervical mucus which is used as an emulsifier for the delivery process to help the elasticity of the vagina and perineum. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the duration of labor in the first stage of labor in women with the habit of consuming areca nut with addition of gedi leaves and without gedi leaves. This was a preexperimental reserach in the form of intact group comparison. A sample of 28 people was divided into the experimental group (which was treated) and the control group (which was not treated). The study was carried out at the Melati Raya Health Center which is an auxiliary health center at the Remu Health Center, Sorong City, West Papua in August-November 2020. The results of the analysis used an independent T test showed a p value of 0.027 < 0.05, meaning Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It was therefore concluded that the consumption of gedi leaves can accelerate the process of labor in the active phase for those who consume betel leaves and areca nuts at the Remu Health Center, Sorong City.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a condition where pain occurs before, during and after menstruation. The most common cause of dysmenorrhea is hormonal factors. The incidence of dysmenorrhea worldwide is quite high, and Indonesian adolescents experiencing dysmenorrhea reach 43%-93%. The impact of dysmenorrhea on adolescents is the disruption of activities and a decrease in academic achievement due to lack of concentration and frequent absence of students from school. Lack of knowledge related to dysmenorrhea makes adolescents less precise in carrying out treatment; it can be seen from the number of adolescents who take anti-pain drugs to reduce dysmenorrhea pain which can cause side effects. Treatment of dysmenorrhea in addition to pharmacological can use non-pharmacological treatment. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of using dysmenorrhea e-booklets on increasing knowledge of SMAN 28 Tangerang students in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era.This pre-experiment research using a questionnaire. The research design used a One Group Design Pretest-Postest research design. The research sample was all 10th grade students of SMAN 28 Tangerang. Sampling technique was carried out using accidental sampling. The effectiveness of the dysmenorrhea e-booklet in increasing the knowledge of SMAN 28 Tangerang students was analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and obtained a significance value (sig) of 0.000 (p<0.05). The p value <0.05 indicated a significant difference between the score before being given the e-booklet and the score after given the e-booklet. Therefore, it can be concluded that the provision of dysmenorrhea e-booklets is effective in increasing respondents' knowledge about dysmenorrhea in the Covid-19 era.
