Abstract

As Indonesia's economy grows rapidly, the competition among brands becomes very tight. A strategy to create brand loyalty is considered to be more effective than to attract new potential customers. This study aims to analyze and provide evidence on the influence of brand trust, brand affect and brand quality to brand loyalty in the case of Dove brand in Surabaya. The number of respondents for this study was 150 people using non-probability sampling technique. Data analysis technique used in this study is the simple regression analysis. The results of this study suggest that brand trust, brand affect, and brand quality influence brand loyalty.

Abstract

High competition sale that make company do sale promotion to interest consumers, and one of them by means of advertising media. It is need a message interest for consumers with comparative advertising applied. Advertising comparative in TV is a phenomenon, so the research is to measure advertising comparative used by model development, Four Alternative Specifications of The Mediating Role of AAD. The research used survey method with distributed quesionare to 257 respondents. Processing data used by Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis with AMOS Program Version 6.0. In this research used primer data and collective sample used non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method.

Abstract

This paper discusses a critical review of an article written by Judge et al. (2007) entitled "Self-Efficacy and Work Related Performance: The Integral Role Of Individual Differences." The objective of the study was to examine the contribution of self-efficacy on work performance which is controlled by personality specifically The Big Five Traits, intelligence or general mental ability, and the experience of doing work or tasks. The study is interesting to review because it was a meta-analysis study that focused on conceptual relationship amongst self efficacy, individual difference, and work-related performance, and the possibility of relationship amongst the existing variables to examine the joint influence in work performance. There are few studies on the joint influence amongst the variables in the literature of industrial psychology and organization. Therefore this study is expected to explain the contribution of self-efficacy, general mental ability, and personality specifically the Big Five Traits, and experience to estimate work related performance.

Abstract

This research is conducted to test whether a conceptual model of manufacturing strategy is relevant when applied in different research settings among medium and large manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The study generally indicates that environmental uncertainty has no significant effect on the choice of competitive strategy and manufacturing strategy among medium and large companies.

Abstract

Many researches on organizational politics have been done to investigate outcomes of organizational political behavior. Previous researches found that there was no consistent result of the relationship between organizational politics and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The purpose of this research was to re-analyze the relationship between organizational politics and organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

The government's success in managing land and forest resources can contribute significantly to economic growth and social welfare. These efforts cannot be separated from the performance of Forestry Extension Field in educating the public about the importance of preserving the environment through forest and land rehabilitation. The fact is that in Sampang District, vast wasteland increase year-over-year This indicates that what has been done by a qualified instructor in the Forestry Extension Field in Sampang District in terms of performance is not optimal. Observations and interviews were conducted which imply that the performance is not optimal due to the fact that the Forestry Extension Field has field personnel who are not competent, lacks training and work experience in performing tasks related to the management of the forestry sector Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the effect of training and work experience to the competencies of field personnel that impact on the performance of Forestry Extension Field. Analysis of the data in that study used descriptive analysis, path analysis model (Path Analysis) and testing hypotheses by using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). The research concludes that there is a significant influence of work experience to competence and competence to performance of Forestry Extension Field and non-significant influence of training to competence, and training and work experience to the performance of Forestry Extension Field.

Abstract

Previous literature states that companies can achieve competitive advantage through the strategic management of human resources, which is also known as strategic human resource management. Universalistic perspective emphasizes that human resource capabilities can help companies gain competitive advantage with the practices of human resource management that encourages a focus on the customer. However, it is not clear under what conditions firms use the Strategic human resource management to improve organizational performance. "The purpose of this article is to discuss the role of strategic human resource management in improving organizational performance from the perspective of contingency.
