Abstract

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of dose goat manure and watering frequency on growth of gmelina seedling at nursarry. The experiment was carried out from April to June 2016, in Cijati village of Situraja regency Sumedang district, with the altitude 310 above sea level. The experimental design was used randomized block design (RBD) with factorial pattern consisting of two factors. The dose of goat manure consinted of  five levels : with out goat manure, 50 g/polybag, 100 g/polybag, 150 g/polybag and 200 g/polybag and the watering frequency consisted of three levels : one time a day, two times a day and one time two days. The results of this experiment showed that there was interaction effect between dose of goat manure and watering frequency on stem diameter at 12 weeks after planting and shoot root ratio. Application with 150 g goat manure per polybag with watering frequency every day gave best effect on stem diameter and  shoot root ratio.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the prospects of Sentul chicken farming based on indigofera zollingeriana  in Indramayu Regency. This research was conducted from September 2017 to January 2018 in Longok Village, Sliyeg District, Indramayu Regency. The research method was carried out by research with a quantitative descriptive approach. The research was carries out by livestock business analysis to benefit, efficiency, and break event point. The results of the study is very prospective with sales exceeding the break event point value of the number of Sentul chicken units in each treatment based on Indigofera, sp especially in the treatment of R5 ration (more than 69 tail) which gives the highest business feasibility.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the cost of production, acceptance, profit, RC Ratio (Revenue Cost Ratio), and feasibility (ability) of glutinous rice farming.  The research method is to use a descriptive survey with a census of sampling techniques against members of the farmer group Sri Rahayu Margamulya village Bongas Sub-district of Indramayu district that planted glutinous rice with 11 people.  Based on the results of the research can be known that the average total cost of glutinous rice farming is Rp. 29,313,151.52, the average admission is Rp. 47,836,363.64, the average profit is Rp. 18,523,212.12, and the R/C of its farming is 1.63, As well as the ability gained by farmers is 63% per season higher than the Bank rate prevailing at the time 1.5% per month. So it can be concluded that glutinous rice farming is profitable and worthy to be cultivated.

Abstract

The research was conducted in Padasari Village, Cimalaka Sub-district, Sumedang District, from June to September 2018, located at an altitude of 600 m asl. The objective of experiment was to study the effect of dosage of lamtoro leaf organic fertilizer to growth and yield of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) plant varieties Nauli-F1. The research was conducted by experimental approach through field experiment. The design used in the experiment was a simple randomized block design consisting of six treatments and four replications. The dose of liquid organic fertilizer treatment Lamtaro leaves consist of: A : 0 L Ha-1, B: 100 L Ha-1, C: 200 L Ha-1, D: 300 L Ha-1, E: 400 L Ha-1, and F: 500 L Ha-1. The result of experiment showed that the use of lamtoro liquid organic fertilizer gave a good effect on all observation variables. The dose of Lamtoro leaf organic fertilizer 500 L Ha-1 showed the best result an plant height, number of leaves, net weight per plant, net weight per plot, and the shoot root ratio.

Abstract

This research aims to find out effect of combination dosage of PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria) and phonska fertilizer toward the growth and the yield of soybean. This experiment was carried out in the field using a combination randomized block design (RBD) with five repeating. The treatments gave were 100% PGPR fertilizer (8 grams / liter) (A), 100% PGPR fertilizer (8 grams / liter) + 50% phonska fertilizer (0.78 grams) (B), 50% PGPR fertilizer (4 grams / liter) + 100% phonska fertilizer (1.56 gram) (C), 50% PGPR fertilizer (4 gram / liter) + 50% phonska fertilizer (0.78 gram) (D) and 100% phonska fertilizer (1, 56 grams) (E).The results showed that the treatment of 50% PGPR fertilizer (4 grams / liter) + phonska fertilizer 100% (1.56 grams) (C) gave a significant effect on the variable root length and leaf area index (LAI).The treatment of 100% phonska fertilizer (1.56 grams) (E) gave a significant effect on the variable seed weight per plot.

Abstract

In the monetary crisis that occurred in 1998, the agricultural sector has shown its resilience as a hero in saving the nation's economic downturn. In the use of land for farming, no longer only pay attention to wetlands but begin to look at dry land, with all its characteristics such as tofografi (landscapes), water availability, and soil fertility, such as herbs and or medicines. The purpose of this study is to describe the business orientation ( cultural values) in farming. The research design is quantitative, with descriptive survey techniques from a sample size of 30 farmers. The results of the study, farmers' orientation in farming began to shift from social orientation to economic orientation, by keeping or aligning themselves with nature.
