Abstract

Bank as financial intermediaries have a vital function, which is collecting and distributing funds. This research is focused on disbursed loans, because it is an activity that generates the greatest income for a bank and can help public who need funds. This research is aimed to examine the influence of promotion expenses, savings, while Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Gross Non Performing Loan (Gross NPL), and Return on Asset (ROA) as proxy of financial ratios in this research to disbursed loans. The objects of this research are Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPDs) listed in Bank Indonesia (BI) and published their annual reports and financial statements which have been audited by the Public Accountants' Office in the period 2008-2012 as samples. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with specific criteria, so that 12 BPDs are selected. The analytical method uses multiple regression analysis with SPSS version 20. The results of this research show that promotion expenses have influence on disbursed loans partially on the BPDs, savings have influence on disbursed loans, CAR has influence on disbursed loans, Gross NPL has no influence on disbursed loans, and ROA has no influence on disbursed loans. Independent variables (promotion expenses, savings, CAR, Gross NPL, and ROA) have influences on disbursed loans simultaneously on the BPDs.

Abstract

Pemasok yang dipilih berdasarkan evaluasi yang sederhana cenderung tidak memperhatikan pemilihan yang sesuai dengan metode atau sistem tertentu sehingga terkadang prosesnya memakan banyak waktu dan apa yang telah diputuskan tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan oleh perusahaan sebagai konsumen yang membeli kebutuhan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan penggunaan metode AHP membantu proses pengambilan keputusan lebih cepat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan farmasi. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dari pegawai perusahaan farmasi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik survei dan wawancara. Alat analisis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Analytical Hierarchy Process dan Expert Choice v.11. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan metode AHP terbukti membantu dalam pemilihan pemasok kemasan obat di perusahaan farmasi lebih cepat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing and understanding correlation between Employer Branding and Employee Satisfaction and loyalty at PT. XYZ, a global oil and gas company which operate in 90 countries. The company listed on number 14 out of 50 companies as preferred employer in 2010 for enginering background students based on Universum study on  2011.  The challenge that company  face is the declining  rank compare to previous year. The result of this quantitative research is based on random sampling survey of 44 respondents of PT.XYZ employees (one oil company which operated in Indonesia). The research reveals that there are still perception gap between employee and company expectation. Whilts  To measure degree of relationship of  employer branding and satisfaction and loyalty,chi square analysis is being used.The result of chi square score indicate that there significant relationship between employee branding with employee satisfaction. However, there is no relationship between employee branding with loyalty. Keywords: Brand, Employer branding, Employee loyalty, Employee satisfaction.

Abstract

Peer-to-peer Online Lending (P2PO) has received increasing attention over the last years, not only because of its disruptive nature and its disintermediation of nearly all major banking functions, but also because of its rapid growth and expanding breadth of services. This model offers a new way of investing in addition to investing in traditional channels such as banking or financial company. The transaction process is done online, the personal information and terms of mobilization are completely transparent and secure in the best way. The strong development of P2PO also raises a number of issues that require careful attention to promote positive and to limit negative aspects. The research aims to highlight particular aspects of this new business model and to analyze the opportunities and risks for lenders and borrowers in Viet Nam. The research combines qualitative analysis and data survey to serve descriptive statistics about P2PO in Viet Nam. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana perbandingan tingkat kesehatan PT Bank Mandiri, Tbk dengan PT Bank Central Asia, Tbk jika diukur menggunakan pendekatan RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, Capital) pada tahun 2011-2013. Variabel dan pengukuran pada penelitian ini terdiri dari faktor Risk Profile, faktor Good Corporate Governance, faktor Earnings, faktor Capital. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesehatan Bank Mandiri dan BCA pada tahun 2011 sampai dengan 2013 secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan bank yang sehat. Faktor Risk Profile secara keseluruhan menggambarkan pengelolaan risiko yang telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Faktor Good Corporate Governance Bank Mandiri dan BCA sudah memiliki dan menerapkan tata kelola perusahaan dengan sangat baik. Faktor Earnings atau Rentabilitas yang penilaiannya terdiri dari ROA dan NIM mengalami kenaikan. Penulis membuktikan bahwa PT. Mandiri dan PT, BCA memiliki faktor  Capital yang baik, yaitu diatas ketentuan Bank Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Tingkat Kesehatan Bank, Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, Capital

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate influence of stock price, growth, profitability and free cash flow on dividend policy. Dividend is one of the agency problem that occurs because there is separation between the shareholders (as principal) with company management (as agent). In agency theory, agency relationship arises when one or more persons (principal) employs another person (agent) to provide a service and then delegate a decision-making authority to the agency (Jensen and Meckling, 1976). Samples in this research are Indonesia and China banking companies listed on the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange) and Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) from the years 2007-2010. The data used are secondary data and methods of data collection in this research is purposive sampling. In this method, Indonesia and China banking companies issuing annual report the year 2007-2010 and has acquired 16 Indonesia banking companies and 17 China banking companies from 31 Indonesia banking companies and 21 China banking companies. Data analysis methods used in this study is multiple regression analysis. Indonesia banking company dividend policy was only affected by ROE. Meanwhile, in China banking company dividend policy was only affected by Stock Price, Growth, and Operating Profit Margin. Keywords: Stock Price, Growth, Profitability, Free Cash Flow, Dividend Payout Ratio.

Abstract

Health of a bank can be defined as the ability of a bank to conduct banking operational normally and be able to satisfy all its obligations well by means of accordance with the applicable banking regulations. The health assessment is very important to a bank, because the bank managing public funds entrusted to the bank. Accordance with PBI 13/1/PBI/2011 numbers that have been set on January 5, 2011 and was implemented by the bank in July 2011, CAMELS method is no longer used as a method to measure the health of a bank. CAMELS method was replaced by RGEC method (Risk profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital) to measure and assess the health of a bank. This research conducted on the four Government Banks (Bank Mandiri, BNI, BTN, and BTN) from the year 2009-2012 with comparative descriptive method. The results of Risk Profile factor that use analysis tool of NPL to measure Credit Risk showed that Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI into category of healthy bank, while BTN decreased slightly in the rankings in 2012 from a healthy bank into fairly healthy bank. Meanwhile the assessment results of liquidity risk that calculated use analysis tool of LDR showed that Bank Mandiri and BNI into category of very healthy bank, BRI tend to stable with healthy bank category, but BTN into category of poorly bank. The result of self-assessment Good Corporate Governance showed that four Government Banks have been successfully implemented Good Corporate Governance very well. The result of Earnings factor that use analysis tool of ROA showed that four Government Banks as healthy bank. The result of Capital factor that use analysis tool of CAR generally showed that four Government Banks into category of very healthy bank.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi, independensi, objektivitas dan integritas terhadap kualitas audit pada Inspektorat Provinsi Bengkulu. Data yang dianalisis diperoleh dari 67 responden, dimana responden adalah auditor di Inspektorat Provinsi Bengkulu. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer berdasarkan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan regresi berganda menggunakan SPSS.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi, independensi, objektivitas dan integritas memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kualitas audit di Inspektorat Provinsi Bengkulu, yang berarti bahwa peningkatan kompetensi, independensi, objektivitas dan integritas maka akan meningkatkan kualitas audit di Inspektorat Provinsi Bengkulu. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa kompetensi, independensi, objektivitas dan integritas secara bersamaan berpengaruh pada kualitas audit di Inspektorat Provinsi Bengkulu. yang berarti bahwa meningkatnya kompetensi, independensi, objektivitas dan integritas maka akan meningkatkan kualitas audit di inspektorat provinsi Bengkulu.

Abstract

Company’s financial condition reflected in the financial statements. However, there are many loopholes in the financial statements which can become a chance for the management and certain parties to commit fraud on the financial statements. This study aims to detect financial statement fraud as measured using fraud score model that occurred in issuers entered into the LQ-45 index in 2014-2016 with the use of six independent variables are financial stability, external pressure, financial target, nature of industry, ineffective monitoring and rationalization. This study using 27 emiten of LQ-45 index during 2014-2016. However, there are some data outlier that shall be removed, thus sample results obtained 66 data from 25 companies. Multiple linear regression analysis were used in this study. The results showed that the financial stability variables (SATA), nature of industry (RECEIVBLE), ineffective monitoring (IND) and rationalization (ITRENDLB) proved to be influential or have the capability to detect financial statement fraud. While the external pressure variables (DER) and financial target (ROA) are not able to detect the existence of financial statement fraud. Simultaneously all variables in this study were able to detect significantly financial statement fraud.

Abstract

According to the plan of development of creative industries in Indonesia until 2025 the tourism industry is expected to be one of the drivers of economic growth through creative industry. This study aims to describe the development of the tourism industry and economic activity associated with the industry in the area of Banyumas. The data used are the rate of occupancy hotels , long stay travelers, the number of tourists, the number of hospitality workers and GDP for the period 2003 to 2011. A survey of the economic actors was done to determine the economic activity around the existing tourism industry. Banyumas tourism industry still relies on nature tourism. Some tourism object are there in desperate need of attention because of the condition that local governments are not maintained resulting in lower interest visitors. Some distinctive cultural can still be developed because it has its own characteristics that absorb the influences of two differences culture. The mixing of natural tourism and cultural tourism can increase the economic potential of the community.Keywords: tourism, nature tourism, creative industries
