Abstract

West Bandung Regency has a very abundant potential of natural resources, one of which is in agriculture. Agriculture is the use of resources made by humans to produce food and manage their environment. One of problem is the inability of farmers to supervise and take care of crops so that an intelligent agricultural system based on IOT is required. The intelligent agricultural system aims to predict and monitor the problems faced by farmers to increase the productivity of agricultural products. In this study, it proposed a design of intelligent agricultural framework by configuring several sensors that generated data from agricultural land and then the information is presented in the monitoring system for the use of the user to determine the decisions in conducting agricultural activities.

Abstract

One of the increasing cases of COVID-19 is due to the large crowd. The crowd that occurred during the last quarter of 2020 occurred as a result of the easing of the PSBB to revive the community's economy, rife demonstrations, and other activities or events with large numbers of people. This is very worrying, coupled with the limited facilities and health workers to treat COVID-19 patients for those with severe symptoms. Therefore, an early detection system is needed by utilizing existing technology, especially for cities that have implemented smart cities and become red zones. So that this system can be an early warning or early detection for stakeholders to make decisions more quickly to prevent additional cases.

Abstract

AKB (New Habit Adaptation) requires people, especially in Indonesia to carry out their usual activities by complying with health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. The government continues to develop new policies to protect its citizens, including urging the public to avoid crowds wherever they are, including in-office areas. The purpose of this research is to make a system design that can monitor the gathering activities of office employees according to government regulations, namely not filling a room with more than 50% of the maximum capacity of the room. The result of this research is a design of hardware and software as an interface device that can automatically count the number of people in a room with the help of an RFID (Radio-frequency identification) sensor. Besides, this system design is also able to store data of employees who are active in a room and detect their temperature, if the room's capacity is full, the door will automatically be locked and will not accept other employees to enter the room. The hope is that this design can help office management to always supervise points of office space that are often filled with employees so that it also helps the government so that people always avoid crowds.

Abstract

Technological developments have been used to support health and economic systems in various countries. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, in the health sector, for example, starting from the process of identifying positive cases with chatbots, contact tracing, monitoring independent isolation, even monitoring social media for mental health can be done with the help of technology. This can help the government make policies and keep health workers in direct contact with patients, especially patients with mild symptoms, for patients with severe symptoms can be prioritized to be assisted by health workers. In the economic field, this pandemic has caused economic growth to decline, even in the third quarter of 2020 Indonesia experienced negative economic growth. The largest proportion of economic growth in Indonesia is household consumption, which is closely related to people's purchasing power. Artificial intelligence technology can be used to examine the level of public consumption. So that it helps the government in making policies on how to increase people's purchasing power. The use of this technology involves a variety of devices, online datasets, devices connected to the internet (IoT), and advances in the fields of machine learning, computer vision and natural language processing. This study aims to provide an overview of how artificial intelligence technology has great potential in strengthening the health system and restoring the national economy.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused drastic changes in the economic world, such as household consumption, demand and supply patterns, job dynamics, and management crises in various organizations both government and private that force workers to work from home (work from home). . The spread of the virus has yet to show signs of ending with an increasing trend of new cases and confirmed deaths. Mobility or population movement is one of the factors that influence economic improvement in an area, this is what forces the government to adopt a policy of loosening the status of social restrictions in various regions so that the social and economic conditions in society do not fluctuate. Until an effective vaccine is found, the spread of Covid-19 will continue to increase sharply as long as social and economic activities are still carried out in the community, with these various obstacles, the new normal is a realistic step. Formal sector workers, especially those who work in office areas, have a high risk of being exposed to Covid-19. To protect workers, the government issued SE Ministry of Health HK.02.01 / MENKES / 335/2020 regarding the protocol for preventing the spread of Covid-19 in the work area. However, the implementation of the protocol did not match expectations, seen from the increasing number of clusters for the spread of Covid-19 in office areas since the relaxation of social restrictions. Although various digital office platforms are available, the existence of a physical office is still considered very important in maintaining the integrity of an organization. This paper proposes a smart office platform design to support the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol in office areas for formal sector workers. It is hoped that the design of this platform can provide support for both public and private organizations to continue to play an important role as a driving force of the economy through activities in offices while still paying attention to the health of their workers

Abstract

Virtual reality (VR) is a technology that can make people experience something immersive, one of which is for virtual tours. Virtual tours are a new way of doing digital tours so that users can see the location of these tourist attractions even though they are very far away. With the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) due to the Covid-19 pandemic, currently, people cannot travel freely as before. Because of this, virtual tours have great potential for people who want to experience visits to tourist attractions without having to visit directly, although they cannot replace the experience of visiting tourist attractions directly, the use of virtual tours can provide new tourist experiences for the community. Therefore, a virtual tour application solution is designed and built to be able to offer the experience of visiting tourist attractions indirectly to the public. The object of research for the virtual tour application is the National Museum. In making this application, it will use a 360 ° photo to be able to represent the location of the tourist spot in real terms. Based on the results of testing the effect of the application, it is known that the use of VR has an influence on the aspects of education, entertainment and immersion, the overall virtual tour experience and affects the user's intention to visit directly.

Abstract

The level of pollution in Indonesia is in the top 10 worst in the world. Judging from the Air Quality Index (IKU), there are 9 provinces that have KPI values below the expected target. This paper aims to perform IKU modelling using the population density variable as a predictor variable. Modelling using linear regression in the parametric method cannot be used because the model residuals are not normally distributed, so a nonparametric smoothing splines approach is carried out. However, the presence of outliers in the smoothing splines residual model causes the residuals of the model to be too large so that it affects the prediction accuracy, so the smoothing splines quantile regression is used in the IKU modelling. Apart from using the median (quantile τ = 0.5), the quantiles of 0.2 were also used; 0.4; 0.6; and 0.8 to generate models at various quantiles. The results of the analysis using the R package quantreg Software prove that the smoothing splines (median) quantile regression model is more robust against the presence of outliers seen from the lower RMSE value than the smoothing splines regression model (mean). In addition, it is concluded that there are 5 provinces that are below the quantile 0.2, which means that the IKU level is very low or there is very high pollution based on the level of population density. Likewise, there are 3 provinces with KPI values above the quantile of 0.8, which means they have very high IKU levels or areas with low levels of pollution.
