Abstract

Process evaluation and product evaluation are like two sides of the coin in the program of guidance and counseling services, both of which will have an impact on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers. This study aims to capture the effectiveness of the implementation of guidance and counseling programs in schools, especially through process evaluation and product evaluation. The research method used is a quantitative method, with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, while the analysis using descriptive statistics. The results show that product evaluation will be related to the implementation of guidance and counseling programs.

Abstract

This study aim to test the effectiveness of counseling Rational Emotive Behavior to improve self-concept of student's vocational high school students. The study design was experimental with pretest-posttest control group design design. The data analysis techniques used Two Independent Sample Test Mann Whitney U and Welcoxon Menched signed Test in this study. The result analysis of data used Welcoxon Signed is known to experiment group of probabilitical value 0.009 <0.05 and control group has the same level of significance 0.009 <0.05, which mean either experimental group or control group are equally effective in improving self-concept of student's vocational high school. Furthermore, the result of the analysis used Two Independent Sample Test Mann Whitney U seen from the mean value of Posttest in experimental group 5.00 is greater than the control group of 5.00, it can be deduced that Rational Counseling Emotive Behavior is more effective to improve self-concept of high school students.

Abstract

The establishment of bullying behavior of high school students is basically not only influenced by social interaction factor but also influenced by the environment. This study aims to conduct a thorough review of the negative facts of Banjar culture in the establishment of bullying behavior of high school students by taking a study on the students of SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. The research method used is to conduct a literature review on the formation of bullying behavior. The result of research shows that the negative facts of Banjar culture have an impact on the behavior of 'bullying'. In an empathetic perspective, it occurs because of the overwhelming feeling, in an assertive perspective because of the habit of silencing the problem and lastly in the perspective of confirmation because of the attitude that tends to simplify life and ignore the feelings of others.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to know how the implementation of expressive writing group counseling based on the philosophy of tinggang, (2) to find the model design counseling group expressive writing technique with flasafah dandang tingang to improve the respect behavior.Research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The result of the model development that has been done by the researcher then design a model that contains (1) Rational, (2) Objectives, (3) Assumptions, (4) Target intervention, (5) Component model, (6) Model steps, 7) Materials, (8) Means, (9) Evaluation and indicators of success. The model that has been compiled is tested to determine the effectiveness of the model that has been compiled. The result of the experiment showed that group counseling model with expressive writing technique based on the philosophy of dandang tingang effective to improve the behavior of respect. Independent test sample T test, from the calculation using SPSS 19.00 application assistance obtained data as follows: T arithmetic (23,703)> T table (2.120) then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Therefore it can be concluded that the counseling service group with the technique of expressive writing based on the philosophy of dandang tingang effective to improve the behavior of respect

Abstract

Availability of qualified human resources and character in an era of MEA become an essential factor because it determines the progress and survival of the nation. HR quality and character can only be established through quality education. Quality education not only includes cognitive but also affective aspects that required a psycho-educational services in the form of guidance and counseling services. Implementation of guidance and counseling services should be oriented towards the development of skills and character for the students. Classical methods of guidance and counseling is usually a lecture which resulted in prolonged verbal symptoms. To overcome these gelaja, the need for full involvement of students in activities / experiences directly in order to achieve the purpose of effective guidance and counseling. Direct experience can be provided by implementing experience-based learning (experiential learning). Knowledge, attitudes and skills are the result of transformation of experience, so the experience is a source of guidance. The success in the implementation of experiential learning method in teaching character through guidance and counseling services is supported by proactive human resources, supportive institutions and facilities and pre means representative.

Abstract

The study aims at examining (1) the symptoms of anxiety of pre-marital experienced by the bride and groom in West Tanete Riattang of Bone district, (2) the effectiveness of relectation to solve anxiety of pre-marital experienced by the bride and groom West Tanete Riattang of Bone district. The study employs qualitative approach with a case study. Data is obtained by employing interview, observation, and documentation. The data collection is then analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis.  The result of the study reveal that (1) the symptoms in forms of physical pre-marital anxiety experienced by ATR are: sleeping disorder, headache, lack of spirit; while the psychological impact is get angry easly, is because ATR imagines about the wedding process. In addition, she also thinks about the condition after marriage, such as can she manage the money, how to take  care of the childre, and does her husband let her hang out with friend. Similiar to ART, the symptoms of pre-marital anxiety are also experienced by VFI physically and psychologically. The symptoms of pre-marital anxiety physically are like strained on her neck and sleeping disorder; while the psychological symptoms are lack of confidence and difficulty to concentrate. These are due to VFI think about the process of wedding feast, financial condition after marriage; (2) the problem solving of pre-marital anxiety is through the technique of systematic relactation given maximal result where all those two cases are already change through their ability to control themselves, to dismissed anxiety when imagining the wedding proscess.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji Keefektifan Bimbingan Kelompok Dengan Teknik Sosiodrama Untuk Mengatasi Prokrastinasi Akademik Pada Mahasiswa BK Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa BK Semester IV Angkatan Tahun 2016 Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta dengan sampel sebanyak 20 Mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan analisis independent sampel test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pretest dan postest masing-masing adalah sebesar 112,75 dan 71,35 sedangkan nilai signifikansinya sebesar 0,000. Mengacu pada kriteria uji maka 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga dapat dikatakan ada perbedaan rata-rata tingkat prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa antara sebelum dan sesudah treatment. Dengan melihat perbandingan rata-rata skor postest lebih rendah daripada pretest yaitu 71,35 < 112,75 maka terdapat penurunan tingkat prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa. Oleh karena Hipotesis Alternatif (Ha) diterima maka kesimpulannya yaitu Bimbingan Kelompok Dengan Teknik Sosiodrama Efektif Untuk Mengatasi Prokrastinasi Akademik Pada Mahasiswa BK Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Kata kunci: Bimbingan Kelompok, Teknik Sosiodrama, Prokrastinasi akademik

Abstract

Mental membangun merupakan suatu dorongan dari dalam diri individu yang berkaitan dengan akal, pikiran, ingatan. Asosiasi dari ketiganya yang kemudian mempengaruhi perilaku individu sehingga memiliki keinginan untuk membangun daerahnya. Mental membangun terdiri atas 3 dimensi yaitu; confidence (keyakinan akan kemampuannya untuk membangun daerah dan mengatasi segala rintangan yang ada dalam proses pembangunan), pride (rasa bangga individu karena identitasnya sebagai bagian dari daerah dan kebanggaan pada potensi daerah), dan yang terakhir adalah care (kepedulian individu terhadapdaerahnya sehingga ia mau untuk berkomitmen menjadi bagian dari pembangunan).Individu yang memiliki mental membangun tinggi maka akan terdapat tiga dimensi tersebut dalam dirinya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pelajar tingkat menengah ke atas dalam jenjang pendidikan SMA/SMK/MA sebanyak 620 orang dengan rincian subjek yang mengaku berasal dari Kutai Timur berjumlah 250 orang dan pendatang sebanyak 370. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin, jumlah subjek laki-laki sebanyak 388 orang dan perempuan berjumlah 232 orang. Mental membangun diukur menggunakan General Self Efficacy Scale dan Life Orientation Test Revised untuk dimensi confidence, Skala General National Pride untuk mengukur dimensi pride, dan terakhir dimensi care diukur menggunakan skala Group Belongingness Scale, Global Social Responsibility Scale dan Organizational Commitmen Scale.Analisis yang dilakukan adalah analisis deskriptif. Analisis deskriptif bertujuan untuk mendekipsikan data secara sistematik sehingga dapat mudah difahami. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa mental membangun yang dimiliki oleh para pelajar di Kabupaten Kutai Timur tergolong tinggi dengan nilai mean empirik sebesar 61,49 dan mean hipotetik sebesar 43,5.
