This article aimed to provide documentation of information relating to local intelligence from the older generations, specifically the local intelligence of the Chinese community on gemstones.To better understand this issue, an informal interview had been conducted on an informant from the Chinese community who has vast experiences dealing with gemstone crafting. Literature reviews were also carried out to further understand the issue under discussion. It can be assumed that religion is the main factor influencing the use of gemstones among ancient Chinese. Although other aspects such as luck, prestige, and healing may also exist, the reasons would be solely based on the teachings of Buddhism. In summary, every God’s creations possess benefits and it is up to human to utilise them in either beneficial or adverse ways

Preposition was a word that completes the meaning of the verb and noun in the sentence structure of Arabic. The use of prepositions in Arabic was truly significant in understanding the Arabic text, especially holy texts. The question was why prepositions were used in sentences such, whereas the other joints could also give the same meaning? Article presented an analysis of syntax-semantics of prepositions في Fi and علىcAla in al-Quran al-Karim across science of Arabic rhetoric (Balagha). Data were restricted to partial phrase في الضلال and على الهدى ever discussed by Ibn Athir. There are 29 places in the Quran that mention في الضلال and 6 points for على الهدى. Critical analysis based on the discipline of linguistics is expected to expose the use of prepositions in Arabic from the precision and beauty of the Arabic language itself. Summary of the study suggest that research on elements of the rhetoric says that other reasonable tasks highlighted in subsequent studies.

Article sought to explore the potential role of Emotional Intelligence (EI) in the personal development of organizational employees and to find out the scope of emotional intelligence for personal development of individuals. This study was qualitative in nature; however, to ensure the authenticity and generalizability of the results some quantitative analysis analyses were applied. Using case study method and taking interviews from 17 software house engineers of Zigron Corporation in Pakistan, this study suggests that emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in the personal development of individuals.

The purpose of this article was to describe online measurement applications in Turkey by using opinions of instructors as practitioners and students about online measurement. The study group of this qualitative research consisted of 8 instructors offering courses in distance education and 46 students of distance education from Karadeniz Technical University and the University of Cumhuriyet. Answers of lecturers and students were often found to be in parallel. This study finds out that one outstanding difference between participants’ answers that students found online measurement practices reliable whereas instructors disagreed. Students’ opinions about online measuring applications seem more positive than instructors. Our recommendations include taking measures to solve the problems of internet connection, utilizing different types of materials besides multiple-choice items, and preparing of items considering item writing rules regardless of the type of items.

Article offers an analytical description of the legal framework of the Indonesian biofuel energy policy : commercialization of Jatropha. Its purpose is to explain why the legal framework failed. Methodology used to collect data is library research, including shifting through related legal documents. Additional information was collected through interviews with key informants. The purpose is to be able to place the relevant legal framework within a broader economic-political context. The main findings were that government intervention in the economic sector (commercialization of Jatropha), were made more in the spirit of poverty eradication programs and lessening government financial burden in providing cheap fossil fuel. Cautious approach based on economic calculations and other considerations (Jatropha not being sufficiently tested and developed as biofuel crop) as advised by researchers (2006) working under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture were simply ignored.

The good relations would have a direct impact on the impression created in the students’ perception. The existence of a positive image of the lecturers would certainly go hand in hand with the creation of a positive image for the majors and the university eventually. This article used case study with qualitative method. The interview was the main tool of data collection. Researchers chosea few students who are still studying during the research but have been studying for few years (3 years or 6 semesters) as the resources/interviewee. It finds that indirectly style and interpersonal communication skills of lecturers can affect image formation majors and university.

Article aimed at exploring the connection between meme in social media and public opinion representation. Object examined in this study was the meme about the social condition in Bekasi. A qualitative descriptive method was applied to analyze issues that are expressed by meme about Bekasi and the motivation of distributing them in social media. The result shows that opinion expressed in meme could carry more than one issues, such as distance, bad traffic, extreme hot temperature, and damaged roads. The motivation of using meme is because it is funny, easily understood, and more likely to get a response. The result also shows that responding to a meme by retweeting or repathing do not necessarily mean agreement with the issues.

Article presented a research about the "Charge Gratis" service that included digital signage, along with free charging device as the crowd attractors in the public space. The main focus of this research was about media display embedded in the uniform of a sales promotion person who displays ads from the advertiser using the qualitative method, through the interview with some expert sources many fields. Article described several possibilities that can be worked in the use of digital signage so that it can be used as a reference in maximizing digital signage in public spaces. It finds that Digital signage is not just functioned as like any other media, but also the awaken interaction and also enhance shopping experiences. The expert sources divide this media display functions into three categories, which is a media information, media entertainment, and media education.

This article discussesed the discourse of pluralism and tolerance from a Christian perspective by understanding the scriptures of the Bible. The research applied library research. The study reached the conclusion that the understanding of pluralism and tolerance should be viewed positively and placed on the proportion of actual and be equipped concrete steps of interfaith dialogue and cooperation so as not to undermine the unity of the Indonesian nation and ultimately destructive to the life towards an impartial and prosperous society who represents the ideals of national life in our beloved republic. It is hoped this discussion can be a reference or evaluation of materials for readers to reduce the potential for horizontal conflict that often occurs among religious believers in Indonesia who use the name of belief/religious truth

Generally, integrity is associated with leadership, especially in the organization or company. Integrity in leadership becomes a growing concern in business and organizations. The aim of this study was to find out the connection that could be shaped between personal integrity and the skill of leadership especially in the performance of work. This study used a library research, a literature study that done by using the available resources and relevant literature, related to the topic being discussed by the author. Books or journal articles related to topics were used as background reading to understand well about the problems of integrity and leadership, especially in the organization or company. This study finds out that the leader integrity is related to follower work role performance and that this effect is fully mediated through follower affective organizational commitment.
