Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems that may occur in the cake stores, especially theselling system used in the store, identify information needs and designing suitable sales information systems for the store. The methodology used in this research are analysis and design methods. Analysis methods that used in this research are study literature, observation, survey of the old system, analysis of survey needs, identification of information needs and interview. While the design method that used in this research is Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). The results achieved is sales information system for cake store in the form ofapplication design to replace the manual system. Conclusion, a computerized sales information system can improve existing sales procedures and solve the problems that may occur in the old system.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IOT) becomes the purpose of the development of information and communication technology. Cloud computing has a very important role in supporting the IOT, because cloud computing allows to provide services in the form of infrastructure (IaaS), platform (PaaS), and Software (SaaS) for its users. One of the fundamental services is infrastructure as a service (IaaS). This study analyzed the requirement that there must be based on a framework of NIST to realize infrastructure as a service in the form of a virtual machine to be built in a cloud computing environment.

Abstract

Technically registration form for new Binus institution must be regenerated and not dynamic. Therefore, this research is objected to simplify the creation of registration process for new Binus institution and provide solutions to the problem when Binus establish other new institutions. Methodology used is analysis and design of the database (database oriented). Analysis is done by asking the problems of existing systems in the IT Directorate, whereas the design uses UML diagram notation 2.0. The results obtained is front end and back end applications for the Content Management System of the registration form. The results of this design can be used to simplify the new student registration or in the many Binus institutions by grouping similar fields. With some changes in the front end and back end applications for content Management System, the addition of new online admission application form can be managed faster, where the creation of admision registration form is managed in the back end application. As suggestions for future development, online admission registration can be run in mobile version.

Abstract

In making controller, there must be knowledge about component controlling functions that used for controller designing. In the control unit, it needs simple method as micro programming. This micro programming is to create a micro program in binary numbering that used for controlling pin?s component controller and outside the controller. Controller design in general needs several prerequisites, which are digital system and controller and assembly language.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) continues to transform how organizations function, communicate and do business with customers, partners and agents. Directors, audit committee, management and stakeholders sincerely hope their auditors more adept at using technology both in the field of audit (Audit Leveraging Technology) to develop a thorough understanding of how they control the company's processes and internal controls. The research methodology to be used is quantitative observation methodology, by collecting data from various data sources such as journals and literature on Continuous Auditing, both best practice (Practical Approach) as well as theoretical and raw concept of Continuous Auditing (Teorical Approach). Impact on the internal audit process and methodology by using Continuous Audit will be very revolutionary and a major impact on the development of the company's business and also the audit function which is run by the company.

Abstract

The main priority aspect of information and communication technologies is given to control mechanisms, both internal and external in enterprises. It ensures that the reports and the decisions received and generated by the management will support their decision-making. The decisions have honesty and high integrity based on the results of the audit conducted on systems of information and communication technology. The objective of this research is to deliver audit reports of information systems for management and make recommendations on the audit findings in PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk. Business processes studied included sales, purchasing, finance, and the warehouse. The system used was "Erajaya Live Application Server" and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)-based. This research used thedomain of COBIT 4.1: Acquire and Implement. The domain included several sub-domains, which were:identify automated solutions (AI1), acquire and maintain application software (AI2), acquire and maintain technology infrastructure (AI3), enable operation and use (AI4), procure IT resources (AI5), manage changes (AI6), and install and accredit solutions and changes (AI7). Data were collected from interviewing IT Department, distributing questionnaires to respondents, and observing the business processes of this enterprise. Research obtained 57 audit findings on IT implementation. The results of process reference model formulation are 3 findings on AI1subdomain, 5 findings on AI2subdomain, 9 findings on AI3subdomain, 6 findings on AI4 subdomain, 11 findings on AI5subdomain, 13 findings pada AI6subdomain, and 10 findings on AI7subdomain. The level of maturity model of this domain, Acquire and Implement (AI), was found on level 3.

Abstract

Sills, doors and windows is one of the most important parts of the buildings, one type of building that needs them is residences. Nowadays, the development sills, doors and windows are very fast with advanced technology that expands the materials of sills, doors and windows from traditional wood materials to aluminium. The presence of aluminum material choices make the owner of the house could have a role towards sustainable concept but it is inversely proportional to the real situation in which the use of aluminum frames is widely used by the middle class and above. Yet in terms of time, efficiency and quality is still superior to aluminum frames, aluminum frames in which certain anti-termite, easier maintenance and more durable. This situation is considered as the cost of aluminum door sills and relatively expensive. With so many advantages to the frame, people should start using aluminum frames since it is reasonable to pay a higher price for longer durability.

Abstract

Public housing is a residential provided by the government for the lower-middle class in city, to be owned. Since 2007, public housing in Jakarta has been built in the form of multi-storey housing (Rusunami). Rusunami is still regarded as one of the best alternatives for the provision of public housing in Jakarta, since the land in the city is very limited and the population is increasing. However, in the development of Rusunami, the displacement of residential units in rusunami is still happening until now. It is necessary to study how the provision of rusunami in Jakarta, whether it meets the needs and target hosts. The study was conducted using a descriptive method which studied provision of rusunami, and other secondary data regarding occupants. The study shows that the increasing number of residential units at rusunami has not covered the needs of residential in Jakarta for the lower-middle class. Occupants in rusunami are generally middle-income families. This condition indicates that the number of residential units and the fulfillment of target criteria at rusunami in Jakarta are still lacking.

Abstract

Tutoring institution is an organization which classified in education which focuses on improving the quality of learning of all students in order to achieve the desired target. The operational activities on this institution consist of registration, scheduling, evaluation, and administration supporters. It will be less effective if the process is done manually. Therefore, many institutions are starting to restructure the model of information systems to support the company?s operations. This study describes about a design of information system model using object oriented approach introduced by Satzinger, which each phase is represented using UML diagrams. The result achieved in this research is to produce a general model of information systems in supporting the operations of a tutoring institution.

Abstract

The research objective was to evaluate the procedures and internal controls of Human Resource Information System XYZ. To that end, the author conducted the examination, collecting, previews and documenting the evidence that supports the information systems, so that it can find problems that occur in information systems and measure risk on internal controls to produce recommendations that can be considered. To support the research, the research uses a library, where the data obtained by reading a book and browse the website in accordance with the research are discussed. And with a field research method, which was obtained through a check list, interview and observation. Results of evaluation on the current information system, gives the conclusion that the current system has been implemented according to the company the current procedure, but found few risks to the internal controls within them.
