Abstract

Most existing object detection methods use features such as color, shape, and contour. If there are no consistent features can be used, we need a new object detection method. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new method for estimating the probability that an object can be located for object detection and generating an object location probability map using only brightness in a gray image. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, we applied it to gallbladder detection. Experimental results showed 98.02% success rate for gallbladder detection in ultrasonogram. Therefore, the proposed method accurately estimates the object location probability and effectively detected gallbladder.

Abstract

According to health reports of Malang city, many people are exposed to sexually transmitted diseases and most sufferers are not aware of the symptoms. Malang city being known as a city of education so that every year the population number increases, it is at risk of increasing the spread of sexually transmitted diseases virus. This problem is important to be solved to treat earlier sufferers sexually transmitted diseases virus in order to reduce the burden of patient spending. In this research, authors conduct data mining methods to classifying sexually transmitted diseases. From the experiment result shows that K-NN is the best method for solve this problem with 90% accuracy.

Abstract

In Biotelemetry, Biomedical signal such as ECG is extremely important in the diagnosis of patients in remote location and is recorded commonly with noise. Considered attention is required for analysis of ECG signal to find the patho-physiology and status of patient. In this paper, LMS and RLS algorithm are implemented on adaptive FIR filter for reducing power line interference (50Hz) and (AWGN) noise on ECG signals .The ECG signals are randomly chosen from MIT_BIH data base and de-noising using algorithms. The peaks and heart rate of the ECG signal are estimated. The measurements are taken in terms of Signal Power, Noise Power and   Mean Square Error.

Abstract

Massive multi-input–multi-output (MIMO) systems are crucial to maximizing energy efficiency (EE) and battery-saving technology. Achieving EE without sacrificing the quality of service (QoS) is increasingly important for mobile devices. We first derive the data rate through zero forcing (ZF) and three linear precodings: maximum ratio transmission (MRT), zero forcing (ZF), and minimum mean square error (MMSE). Performance EE can be achieved when all available antennas are used and when taking account of the consumption circuit power ignored because of high transmit power. The aim of this work is to demonstrate how to obtain maximum EE while minimizing power consumed, which achieves a high data rate by deriving the optimal number of antennas in the downlink massive MIMO system. This system includes not only the transmitted power but also the fundamental operation circuit power at the transmitter signal. Maximized EE depends on the optimal number of antennas and determines the number of active users that should be scheduled in each cell. We conclude that the linear precoding technique MMSE achieves the maximum EE more than ZF and MRTbecause the MMSE is able to make the massive MIMO system less sensitive to SNR at an increased number of antennas.

Abstract

Cloud computing environment requires secure access for data from the cloud server, small execution time, and low time complexity. Existing traditional cryptography algorithms are not suitable for cloud storage. In this paper, an efficient two-stage cryptography scheme is proposed to access and store data into cloud safely. It comprises both user authentication and encryption processes. First, a two-factor authentication scheme one-time password is proposed. It overcomes the weaknesses in the existing authentication schemes. The proposed authentication method does not require specific extra hardware or additional processing time to identity the user. Second, the plaintext is divided into two parts which are encrypted separately using a unique key for each. This division increases the security of the proposed scheme and in addition decreases the encryption time. The keys are generated using logistic chaos model theory. Chaos equation generates different values of keys which are very sensitive to initial condition and control parameter values entered by the user. This scheme achieves high-security level by introducing different security processes with different stages. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme reduces the size of the ciphertext and both encryption and decryption times than competing schemes without adding any complexity.

Abstract

Discharge of untreated industrial water on land and in existing waterbodies has deteriorated the quality of these sources and has become harmful and disasterous for human as well as aquatic life..Many a times even treated industrial effluents are proved to be harmful. So in the project discussed below an effort has been made to test the treated industrial waste water and send the obtained results to the concerned industry as well as pollution control board. The sensor used to test the water were pH electrode (PE03), conductivity electrode (k=1), purity sensor, thermistor. The results obtained from the above sensors were then sent  to the industry control room as well as pollution control board.using GSM.DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/ijece.v3i5.3177

Abstract

The fundamental idea of storage is to transfer available energy During periods of low demand, using only a fraction of the fuel that would be consumed by the standard production machine (gas turbine, thermal engine, etc.). The main role of energy storage is therefore to introduce an energy degree of freedom to decouple Consumers and the producer by supplying or Delivering the difference between these two powers. In this paper is this paper presents a brief study and dimensioning of compressed air storage tanks to a hybrid system wind-PV . adopts the CAES system as a storage agent. Starting with the technical criteria on which the choice of reservoirs is based and the mechanical constraints that must be taken into consideration for dimensioning of the reservoirs

Abstract

In this work, we propose the design of metamaterial inspired compact circular patch antennas loaded with complementary split-ring resonators (CSRRs) for ISM band operation. CSRRs have been incorporated horizontally inside the dielectric. The various models of CSRR loaded antennas with different patch radius are produced and are evaluated numerically with Ansoft HFSS software. The results of the suggested antenna designs are presented that reveal a comparable impedance match and radiation characteristics with those of a normal patch antenna without CSRR. The proposed antennas yield high levels of miniaturization and similar performance to the conventional patch antenna at the 2.45GHz.

Abstract

The load forecasting consider as part important in power system operation.  The exact prediction for power demand is important for planning how much need extra power generation to cover extra load to keep without happen shutdown. Neural networks stay frequently designed for modeling dynamic processes. The Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) with Radial Basis Functions (RBF) network is static approximations used fewer frequently in the discrete-time domain. In this paper proposed predict method for daily peak load by Elman Neural Network (ENN) with using data power demand for 2 years collected from National Control Center (NCC) and comparing the result. The result show the proposal is evaluated and followed the power demand.

Abstract

In this Paper the major concentration is an efficient and user based data hosting service for hybrid cloud. It provides friendly transaction scheme with the features of cost effective and high availability to all users. This framework intelligently puts data into cloud with effective cost and high availability. This gives a plan of proof of information respectability in which the client has utilize to check the rightness of his information. In this study the major cloud storage vendors in India are considered and the parameters like storage space, cost of storage, outgoing bandwidth and type of transition mode. Based on available knowledge on all parameters of existing cloud service providers in India, the intelligent hybrid cloud data hosting framework are assured to customers for low cost and high availability with mode of transition. It guarantees that the ability at the customer side is negligible and which will be helpful for customers.
