Abstract

One of the aim of sains learning is to develop thinking skill. BTL model or meaning learning is developed to train life skill. One of the skill that has to be mastered by students is thinking skill. The aim of the research is developing BTL model to develop creative thinking skill and student’s character at heat subject and to know the developmentcreative thinking skill and also student’s character of responsibility, discipline, curiousity, and communicative. The research’s subject is VII H students of SMP N 3 Semarang at academic year of 2012/2013. This study is a research and development of quasi-experimental design type design pre-test and post-test one group.Validation product test is done by supervisor. Products produced are learning instrument, such as syllabus, lesson plan with integration of character value, work sheet arranged by creative thinking skill’s aspects and assessment sheet. The research result shows the development of BTL model can develop student’s creative thinking skill and character of heat subject.

Abstract

Implementation of active learning based cooperative model can improve conceptual undersanding and student's performance. Samples taken as random sampling and obtained VIIIE as experiment-class and VIIIB as control-class. Experiment-class got active learning based cooperative and control-class got active learning discussion. improved conceptual understanding was measured with pretest-posttest and improvement of student's performance was measured with observation. Improved conceptual understanding and the student's performance can be seen through the gain test. The data show that: 1.gain number of conceptual understanding experiment-class was 0,58 (medium) and gain number of conceptual understanding control-class was 0,51(medium)., 2. Gain number of student's performance experiment-class was 0,22 (low) and gain number of student's performance control-class was 0,04 (low). From these results it can be concluded that the application of active learning based cooperative models can improve understanding of concepts and students's performance

Abstract

Nowadays, learning which is needed not only on the evaluated orientation but also the process of learning itself. Learning  model bases on the scientical process as the form of learning strategy, practically it requires the activities of all component such as students, teacher, and school. This research aims to know the improvement of students scientical process skill using the implementation of Multiple Intelligences approach on practicum methode. The experiment research designs Posttest Control Group Design Only is held in senior high school 2 of Magelang. The subjects are seconds semester of X graders 2012/2013. The technic of data analysis which is used is Gain test and T test. Based on the result of data analysis can be concluded that the scientical process improvement of experimental group which using Multiple Intelligences approach on practicum methode is higher than the control group which applies the random distribution

Abstract

The research was distributed by learning from school less providing education that links science impact of technology on the environment. To overcome these problems, applied approach to learning SETS. But in the thought of the author of the application of education SETS will have more impact that more real to students if it is given a religious element. It is also based on the results of the interviews of students in MAN Purwodadi, apparently the many students consider that science does not have to do with religion (Al Quran). They never study the Quran with the science they are learning. This aim is a research described the application of the approach to the study of physics SETS that are associated with the elements of religion (Qur'an) to enhance the recognition of the greatness of the creator. This research is research that is implemented in the class action is three cycles. The location of the research was on the MAN Purwodadi. The subject of this research is the grade XI IPA 2. Research data in the form of affective learning outcomes obtained from the now and the results of the cognitive learning of evaluation questions. To find out of attitude increases the recognition of God's greatness and overall student learning outcomes used test gains. The results of the analysis of the data showed science learning with approaches SETS on the material law of gravity Newton with associated to Al Quran can increase recognition of the positive attitude of greatness about creator lodly and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis think pair share bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Grabag menggunakan metode true experiment dengan pretest and posttest control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis think pair share telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar individu dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil uji perbedaan dua rata-rata dimana diperoleh t_hitung>t_tabel (1,71>1,67) yang menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Uji gain kelas eksperimen diperoleh <g>=0,70 (tinggi) dan kelas kontrol diperoleh <g>=0,66 (sedang). Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis think pair share efektif dalam meningkatkan  pemahaman konsep.         Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The using of learning model guided inquiry think pair share-based to determine the effectiveness of the model in improving the understanding of the concept study. The study was held at SMA Negeri 1 Grabag using true experiment with pretest and posttest control group design. The study result showed the student learning outcomes average of experimental class by learning model guided inquiry think pair share-based students has reached individual minimum completeness criteria and classical minimum completeness criteria. It is strengthened by the results of the t-test which gained t_hitung>t_tabel (1,71>1,67) that shows the average results of studying experimental class higher than the control class. The gain of experimental class was obtained <g>=0,70 (high) and control class was obtained <g>=0,66 (medium). The result of the study showed that the learning model guided inquiry think pair share-based effective in improving the understanding of the concept.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengembangkan self assessment sebagai alat evaluasi pendidikan karakter berbasis konservasi pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA Unnes. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil angket untuk memperoleh bukti identifikasi kelayakan self assessment sebagai alat evaluasi dan hasil uji coba produk. Data kelayakan alat evaluasi dan hasil uji coba produk selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif persentase. Uji validitas isi dan validitas konstruk digunakan untuk mengetahui kelayakan instrumen. Hasil uji validitas isi pada penelitian yaitu 75 % sehingga menunjukkan alat evaluasi ini layak untuk digunakan sedangkan berdasarkan validasi konstruk diperoleh 39 butir soal yang tergolong valid. Uji validitas dilakukan dengan korelasi product moment yang mengkorelasikan dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Koefisien reliabilitas alat evaluasi yang dikembangkan melalui persamaan alpha diperoleh nilai r = 0,792, koefisien ini menunjukkan klasifikasi tinggi. This study is a kind of research and development (R&D), which is focused on developing self-assessment as evalaution instrument of conservation based character education for Unnes Physics Education student. Data of  the research were obtained from feasibility and  product testing, then analyzed using descriptive percentages. Content validity and construct validity test are used to determine the instrument feasibility.The results of content validity test was 75% , it showed that instrument was feasibility to used, whereas based on construct validation test obtained that 39 items were valid. Validity test in this research used product moment correlation with the significant level of 5%. The value of reliability coefficient for the evaluation instrument that developed by an equation alpha are r = 0.792, this coefficient indicates an high classification.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Pembelajaran IPA dituntut untuk dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa secara optimal. Model pembelajaran Active Learning melalui eksperimen inkuiri terbimbing mampu memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa SMP kelas VIII  setelah diterapkan model  Active Learning melalui eksperimen inkuiri terbimbing. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dan tes. Berdasarkan uji t dan uji gain dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Active Learning melalui strategi eksperimen inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar siswa.             Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Science learning required to develop students' creative thinking skills optimally. Active learning model through guided inquiry experiments can give students the opportunity to active participate in learning. This study intended to determine the increase in the ability to think creative and increase cognitive learning outcomes after the eighth grade junior high school students applied the experimental model of Active Learning through guided inquiry. Taking over of data in this research do by documentation and test metode. Base of t test and gain test got conclusion that active learning through guided inquiry experiments may improve the ability to think creatively and cognitive learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk-bentuk konsepsi alternatif yang terjadi pada mahasiswa fisika pada materi termodinamika dan faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi munculnya konsepsi alternatif tersebut. Data diperoleh melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara. Responden penelitian terdiri atas 76 mahasiswa semester 2 yang belum mendapat mata kuliah termodinamika dan 67 mahasiswa semester 6 yang telah mendapat mata kuliah termodinamika. Mahasiswa diberi tiga pertanyaan mengenai temperatur, kalor, dan hukum pertama termodinamika. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) dalam pemikiran mahasiswa terdapat konsepsi alternatif pada materi temperatur, kalor, dan hukum pertama termodinamika; (2) konsepsi alternatif yang terjadi pada mahasiswa semester 2 disebabkan oleh faktor pembelajaran, intuisi, kerangka teori spesifik, apresiasi konseptual, dan pemahaman kurang mendalam; (3) konsepsi alternatif yang terjadi pada mahasiswa semester 6 disebabkan oleh fragmentasi, intuisi, kerangka teori spesifik, apresiasi konseptual, dan pemahaman kurang mendalam. The purposes of this research are to explore kind of alternative conceptions of physics students on thermodynamics’ concepts and to explore the factors that due to these alternative conceptions. In this research, we used written test and interview. Respondents consisted of 76 students of second semester were not passing yet thermodynamics subject and 67 students of sixth semester passing thermodynamics subject. Students were given three question about temperatur, heat, and the first law of thermodynamics. The study result shows that (1) in students’s mind there are alternative conceptions about temperature, heat, and the first law of thermodynamics; (2) alternative conceptions existed on students of second semester are caused by learning factor, intuition, specific theoretical framework, conceptual appreciation, and surface pattern understanding; (3) alternative conceptions existed on students of sixth semester are caused by fragmentation factor, intuition, specific theoretical framework, conceptual appreciation, and surface pattern understanding.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan bertanya siswa. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan bertanya siswa dan mengetahui apakah hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII MTs NU Ungaran melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan pendekatan inkuiri lebih baik daripada pembelajaran diskusi-informasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan posttest-only control design. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui tes dan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan analisis rata-rata nilai observasi yang dilakukan dalam setiap pertemuan diketahui hasil belajar afektif dan kemampuan bertanya siswa kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelompok kontrol. Sedangkan analisis statistik menggunakan uji t terhadap data posttest diperoleh = 3,092 dengan harga  = 1,981 pada α = 5% dan dk = 78. Karena , diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan pendekatan inkuiri lebih baik dari pembelajaran kelompok kontrol dengan metode diskusi-informasi. Learning is still centered on the low ability of teachers to ask students. The study was conducted to describe the students' ability to ask and find out if the results of class VIII student science learning MTs NU Ungaran through problem-based learning approach is better than learning inquiry-informed discussion. This research is to design experimental posttest-only control design. The research data obtained through testing and observation sheets. Based on the analysis of the average value of observations made in each meeting known affective learning outcomes and students' ability to ask the experimental group was higher than the control group. While the statistical analysis using the t test to the data obtained  posttest = 3.092 at a price = 1.981 at α = 5% and dk = 78. Because > , so it is concluded that the results of the experimental group students' learning through problem-based learning by inquiry approach is better than the control group learning with method-informed discussion.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 9 Semarang pada materi Usaha dan Energi dengan menggunakan model learning cycle 7E. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atastiga siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi, tes, dan observasi. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan tes bentuk objektif pilihan ganda untuk mengukur hasil belajar kognitif dan lembar observasi untuk mengukur hasil belajar afektif dan hasil belajar psikomotorik. Hasil analisis datamenunjukan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa signifikan.Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model learning cycle 7E dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa baik kognitif, afektif maupun psikomotorik secara signifikan.         Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This study aimed to improve learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Semarangon a matter of work and energy by using a model7E learning cycle. This research is a class act consisting of several cycles. Each cycle includes planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Methods of data collection in this research is a method of documentation, testing, and observation. This study used a test instrument with the form of multiple choice objective to measure cognitive learning and observation sheet instruments to measure affective learning outcomes and psychomotor learning outcomes. From the results of data analysis showed a significant increase in learning outcomes result. The analysis shows that the model 7E learning cycle can improvestudent learning outcomes in cognitive, affective and psychomotor significantly.
