Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the relationship of nutrients intake and hemoglobin levels in young soccer athletes. This research was an analytical descriptive research with cross-sectional approach. The subjects were 30 athletes of U-13 and U-14 who are active member of SSB Real Madrid UNY. Subjects were measured hemoglobin level using Easy Touch tool. Intake of nutrients were obtained using Semi Quantitative Food Frequency (SQFFQ) form. Data were analyzed using statistical software. Data were processed using chi-square test and pearson correlation. Hemoglobin level in young soccer athletes of SSB Real Madrid was 14.29 ± 2.16 kg/m2 (normal). Energy intake was poor as many as 15 people (50%), good intake as many as 15 people (50%). Protein intake was good as many as 4 people (13%), poor intake as many as 26 people (87%). Fat intake was poor as many as 18 people (60%), good intake as many as 12 people (40%). Iron intake of 11 people (36.7%) were in poor category, 19 people (63.3%) were normal category. Vitamin C intake as much as 6 people (20%) had poor category, and 24 people (80%) had normal category. There was no significant relationship of energy, protein, fat and iron intake with hemoglobin status (p>0.05). However, there was a significant relationship of carbohydrates and vitamin C intake with hemoglobin levels in athletes (p<0.05). There is no relationship of energy, protein, fat and iron intake with hemoglobin levels. But, there is a relationship of carbohydrates and vitamin C intake with hemoglobin levels of young soccer athletes.

Abstract

Neurophysiological maturity plays a crucial role for the school adjustment of preshool children. It also affects Executive Function (EF) as the ability to regulate behavior and to control children's emotions. The children? neurophysiological maturity is influenced by the physical fitness level. Children with better fitness can do better physical and psychological activity than children who are not fit. This study aims at revealing the relationship between physical fitness and EF as well as each of its components towards preschool children. It is also to measure the role of maternal education level and family income as a moderator of the relationship between physical fitness and EF in preschool children. Subjects in this study were 224 children (male = 110, female = 114) aged 60 months - 84 months in Magelang City. The results showed that physical fitness is positively influence to EF in which the more fit child will achieve better EF abilities. This study also found that maternal education level and family income were not moderators of the relationship between fitness and EF. The results of this study can have implications to raise an understanding on the benefits of physical activity and fitness for children.

Abstract

This research aims was to develop a product of a game-based learning model of long jump for elementary school students. This research is a development research using Research and Development from Borg and Gall which consists of ten stages. The subject in this research is elementary school student in Palembang city. Data were collected through documentation, observation, interview and learning test of long jump skills. Data analysis was done descriptively, qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study prove that: 1) the development of game-based learning model of long jump for elementary school students has been declared valid, 2) game-based learning model of long jump for elementary school is  80% can increase the ability of long jump and build a sense of courage and give motivation to elementary school students

Abstract

This research aims to produce heading soccer based training models to improve the accuracy of headings in soccer games. The research method used in this study is the research and development method (Research and Development) of Borg and Gall by using 10 stages and with the research subjects are soccer athletes aged 14-17 years in football schools in Jambi Province. This research begins with needs analysis, planning, product making, testing, revision and final products. The effectiveness test of the model using the Main Field Test is used to determine the level of athlete?s heading ability before and after the treatment of the training model based on circuit-based soccer skills developed. The results of the study show that the product model of this exercise is feasible to use, in the results of small group trials and large groups can explain that the model as a whole can be done well. In the results of the effectiveness test showing an increase in heading training results from the initial tests and final tests after being given a training model treatment, these results indicate that the resulting circuit based soccer heading training models can be used and can effectively improve the heading ability of athletes aged 14-17 years. Based on the results of the output using SPSS 16 that the average value of soccer heading before being given a training model is 18.04 and after being given treatment with a training model 23.78 means that the average value of soccer headings is increased. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply and develop a form of smash training for volleyball, obtain empirical data about the effectiveness and efficiency of the results of the development of volleyball smash exercises , Improve the results of volleyball smash accuracy training results Provide variations in the form of training so athletes do not get bored. Research on the development of volleyball attack exercises uses a qualitative approach and uses the Research & Development (R&D) research method which consists of ten steps, among others. The subjects of this study were beginner volleyball athletes of high school age in the city of Jayapura. Before the data were analyzed, a normality test was carried out on the results of the pretest and posttest smash volleyball using the Lilliefors test at a significant level a = 0.05. The volleyball smash results between pretest and posttest obtained tOpretest = 0.7982 and tOposttest = 0.843951699 is greater than tt = 0.114, then the null hypothesis is rejected and tO = 0,000 is smaller than tt = 0.005 which means that there is a significant difference between pretest and posttest. Based on the results shows that the product of this exercise model is feasible to use, in small or large group trials. The novelty in this study is that the training model developed is a target-based smash training model.               Based on the results of the development it can be concluded that: (1) With the volleyball smash model for beginner high school age athletes, athletes can learn effectively and efficiently. (2) With the model that researchers have developed, athletes are more motivated and active in participating in smash exercises . Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of adequate football and goal fields, so there is a need for modification in learning so that the learning process can be carried out more effectively. Modifications in learning include making the game a football learning approach that is adapted to conditions on the field. The purpose of this study is to develop a bowling football game model that can be used as an alternative approach to football learning. This research was conducted using research and development using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The sampling technique used saturated sampling to determine the sample of this study is using eighteen fifth grade students of MI Fastabiqul Khoirot Jambu for field tests. Before being tested on students, this game model has been validated by physical education learning experts and football game experts. The research data collection instrument used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique of this research is qualitative and quantitative descriptive percentages. The results of field test data analysis, obtained an average of 82%. Based on the criteria that have been obtained from the field test results, the product development of this bowling football game meets the criteria can be used. So it can be concluded that this bowling football game can be used and applied as an alternative approach to football learning in fifth grade students of MI Fastabiqul Khoirot Jambu.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to know the total level cholesterol of the samples before and after doing aerobic dance exercise besides to know the influence of aerobic dance exercise toward reduction of total blood choleterol levels. This is a Pre-Experimental Design study and used One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study was participants of Kiyomi gymnasium group and 16 participants. The collected data was gathered by measuring blood total cholesterol levels when conducting pre-test and post-test by using East Touch GCU. For analysing the data used Paired T-test. The result of the study shows the average of the samples after doing aerobic dance exercise are able to lower the blood total cholesterol levels from 221,68 to 173,12. And gained tarithmetic as many as 6,197 with the value of signification 0,000 < 0,05. It means that there is a significant influence between aerobic dance exercise and reduction of total cholesterol. The conclusion of this study is there is reduction of the average of the total cholesterol levels before (pre-test) and after getting treatment (post-test) so it can be concluded that there is an effect of aerobic dance exercise toward the decreasing of total cholesterol level on Kiyomi dance studio?s members in Gabus Sub-District Pati Regency.

Abstract

Self-talk is basic mental training techniques for changing or influencing mind patterns that can be done in a closed manner so that they are not heard by others, or are open that can be heard by others and directed by oneself. The purpose of the present study was to test the effectiveness of a self-talk intervention on pencak silat performance (straight, sabit, and side kick). Participants were 30 athlete (M age 19 years). The method used in this study was a experiment method with 2 group (STQ Intervention vs. Control Group). The results of this study establish the effectiveness of self-talk in sport, encourage the use of self-talk as a strategy to enhance pencak silat performance.
