Abstract

Latar belakang: Pencak silat sebagai aktivitas jasmani merupakan salah satu cabang olahraga yang populer dan berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Kombinasi latihan yang intensif dan asupan gizi yang tepat dapat membentuk morfologi tubuh atlet menjadi lebih baik. Atlet dengan struktur antropometri atau somatotype dan komposisi tubuh yang sesuai dengan cabang olahraganya cenderung menunjukkan perfoma olahraga yang lebih baik. Pengaturan diet yang tepat dapat meningkatkan performa atlet. Asupan protein yang cukup dapat menunjang performa atlet. Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran asupan protein dan somatotype pada atlet pencak silat di Pembinaan Atlet Berbakat (PAB) Yogyakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian cross-sectional. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet pencak silat yang terdaftar dan aktif di PAB Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 40 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah timbangan, microtoice, skinfold caliper, spreading caliper, pita LILA, form recall 3x24 jam, dan informed consent. Data dianalisis menggunakan software statistik secara deskriptif. Hasil: Rata-rata asupan protein pada atlet pencak silat di PAB Yogyakarta adalah 92,89±30,30. Sebanyak 16 orang (40%) kategori kurang, 16 orang (40%) kategori baik dan sebanyak 8 orang (20 %) kategori lebih. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran somatotype, sebanyak 2 orang (5%) kategori central, 14 orang (35%) kategori balance-ectomorph, 7 orang (17.5%) kategori endomorphic ectomorph, 15 orang (37.5%) kategori ectomorphic endomorph dan 2 orang (5%) kategori mesomorph. Kesimpulan: Sebagian besar atlet pencak silat di PAB Yogyakarta memiliki asupan protein yang belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Somatotype atlet sebagian besar memiliki kategori ectomorphic endomorph. Kata kunci: asupan protein; somatotype; atlet; pencak silat

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hemodialisis pada umumnya dilakukan rutin setiap dua kali seminggu dengan waktu kurang lebih 5 jam setiap menjalani hemodialisis. Pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis rutin akan mengalami malnutrisi asupan protein yang tidak adekuat, rendahnya kadar albumin dalam darah, gangguan gastrointestinal seperti rasa mual dan muntah, serta menurunnya nafsu makan sehingga berisiko menurunkan status gizi pasien. Salah satu pelayanan gizi rawat jalan pada kasus hemodialisis adalah edukasi gizi yang dapat diberikan melalui pengiriman SMS secara rutin tiap hari kepada pasien (SMS Reminder). Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas pemberian SMS reminder terhadap status gizi pasien hemodialisis. Metode: Jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimental dengan melibatkan 15 responden untuk masing-masing kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol. Kriteria inklusi adalah pasien hemodialisis berusia >18 tahun, hemodialisis rutin setiap dua kali per minggu, bersedia menjadi responden, dan mengikuti prosedur penelitian. Kriteria eksklusi adalah terdapat udema anasarka dan komplikasi keganasan penyakit. Variabel bebas adalah pemberian SMS reminder, variabel terikatnya status gizi antropometri. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil: Uji Chi-square menunjukkan bahwa pemberian  SMS reminder efektif mempengaruhi status gizi antropometri pasien hemodialisis (p-value = 0,028); Nilai RR = 2,500 yang berarti bahwa responden yang memperoleh  SMS reminder memiliki kemungkinan 2,5 kali lebih besar untuk berstatus gizi baik dibandingkan yang tidak memperoleh SMS reminder. Kesimpulan: Pemberian SMS reminder efektif memperbaiki status gizi antropometri pasien hemodialisis. Pasien yang memperoleh SMS Reminder memiliki kemungkinan 2,5 kali lebih besar untuk berstatus gizi baik dibandingkan yang tidak memperoleh SMS Reminder.Kata Kunci: Edukasi gizi; pasien hemodialisis; SMS reminder; status gizi antropometri

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan asupan cairan dan vitamin C dengan kondisi kecemasan atlet sepak bola. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional, desain cross-sectional, dilakukan bulan Mei-Juni 2014 di Stadion Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) Indonesia. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 10 atlet sepak bola dari UGM dan 11 atlet sepak bola dari UNY. Data asupan cairan dan vitamin C dilihat dengan wawancara menggunakan form SQFFQ. Kondisi kecemasan atlet diukur dengan kuesioner kecemasan yang dimodifikasi dari State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). Data dianalisis menggunakan software statistik. Hasil : Rata-rata asupan cairan pada atlet sepak bola UGM  adalah 2.930,92 ± 1.249,26 ml. Asupan vitamin C pada atlet sepak bola UGM adalah 112,33 ± 212,38 mg. Skor kecemasan dari atlet sepak bola UGM adalah 26,9 ± 7,18. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan pada asupan cairan dan vitamin C dengan kecemasan pada atlet UGM (p>0,05). Sedangkan rata-rata asupan cairan pada atlet sepak bola UNY adalah 3.250,32 ± 1.055,53 ml. Asupan vitamin C atlet adalah 19,93 ± 12,9 mg. Rata-rata skor kecemasan dari atlet sepak bola UNY adalah 26,18 ± 2,52. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan pada skor kecemasan dengan asupan cairan dan vitamin C pada atlet sepak bola UNY (p>0,05). Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan pada asupan cairan dan vitamin C dengan skor kecemasan atlet sepak bola di Yogyakarta. The aims of the reseach is correlation between fluid intake and vitamin C with anxiety condition of soccer athletes in Yogyakarta is the objects of this study.This was an observational study with cross-sectional design. This research was conducted on May-June 2014 at Yogyakarta State University Stadium (UNY) Indonesia. The subjects of this study were 10 soccer athletes from UGM and 11 soccer athletes from UNY. Data of fluid intake and vitamin C were seen by interview using SQFFQ form. The athlete's anxiety condition was measured by a modified anxiety questionnaire from the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). Data were analyzed using statistical software.Result: The average fluid intake in UGM soccer athletes is 2,930.92 ± 1,249.26 ml. Vitamin C intake in UGM soccer athletes is 112.33 ± 212.38 mg. Anxiety score from UGM soccer athletes is 26.9 ± 7.18. There was no significant association between fluid intake and vitamin C with anxiety in UGM athletes (p> 0.05). While the average fluid intake in soccer athletes of UNY is 3,250.32 ± 1055,53 ml. Vitamin C intake of athletes was 19.93 ± 12.9 mg. The average anxiety score of a soccer athletes of UNY is 26.18 ± 2.52. There was no significant association in anxiety scores with fluid intake and vitamin C in soccer athletes of UNY (p> 0.05).There is no significant correlation of fluid intake and vitamin C with anxiety scores of soccer athletes in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the relationship of nutrients intake and hemoglobin levels in young soccer athletes. This research was an analytical descriptive research with cross-sectional approach. The subjects were 30 athletes of U-13 and U-14 who are active member of SSB Real Madrid UNY. Subjects were measured hemoglobin level using Easy Touch tool. Intake of nutrients were obtained using Semi Quantitative Food Frequency (SQFFQ) form. Data were analyzed using statistical software. Data were processed using chi-square test and pearson correlation. Hemoglobin level in young soccer athletes of SSB Real Madrid was 14.29 ± 2.16 kg/m2 (normal). Energy intake was poor as many as 15 people (50%), good intake as many as 15 people (50%). Protein intake was good as many as 4 people (13%), poor intake as many as 26 people (87%). Fat intake was poor as many as 18 people (60%), good intake as many as 12 people (40%). Iron intake of 11 people (36.7%) were in poor category, 19 people (63.3%) were normal category. Vitamin C intake as much as 6 people (20%) had poor category, and 24 people (80%) had normal category. There was no significant relationship of energy, protein, fat and iron intake with hemoglobin status (p>0.05). However, there was a significant relationship of carbohydrates and vitamin C intake with hemoglobin levels in athletes (p<0.05). There is no relationship of energy, protein, fat and iron intake with hemoglobin levels. But, there is a relationship of carbohydrates and vitamin C intake with hemoglobin levels of young soccer athletes.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Atlet membutuhan informasi gizi olahraga yang akurat karena gizi optimal menunjang prestasi. Sebaliknya gizi yang tidak memadai, menghambat atlet mencapai performa terbaik. Pemberian makanan pada atlet perlu disesuaikan dengan periode latihan. Fokus grup diskusi mengenai pengaturan pola makan atlet bertujuan menggali permasalahan orang tua secara mendalam mengenai pemenuhan gizi pada atlet. Dimana pengaturan gizi atlet terbagi menjadi tiga periode yaitu periode persiapan, periode pertandingan, periode pemulihan. Atlet dari cabang olahraga yang berbeda memiliki kebutuhan energi yang berbeda terkait dengan perbedaan jenis latihan, intensitas latihan, durasi latihan. Orang tua memiliki peran yang besar dalam memberikan konsumsi makanan pada anak. Hal tersebut akan mempengaruhi bagaimana anak berkembang, sehingga diperlukan makanan sehat, seimbang dengan kebutuhan gizi. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan Selasa, 17 September 2019 terhadap 24 orang tua atlet sepak bola di SSB Real Madrid. Sementara di SSB Baturetno dilakukan 30 orang tua atlet sepak bola di SSB Baturetno pada Ahad, 15 September 2019. Secara keseluruhan, orang tua atlet sepak bola SSB Real Madrid UNY dan SSB Baturetno mengetahui adanya perbedaan antara pengaturan makanan sesuai periode latihan. Namun, orang tua atlet belum mampu menerapkan menu sebelum bertanding, saat bertanding dan setelah bertanding dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai kandungan gizi, kebiasaan makan dalam lingkungannya, keterbatasan waktu menyiapkan makanan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dilakukan secara berkelanjutan, mengingat kemungkinan siswa yang berbeda setiap tahunnya. Selain edukasi kepada orang tua atlet, kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dilakukan tidak hanya kepada orang tua atlet SSB Real Madrid UNY dan SSB Baturetno, melainkan kepada atlet juga pelatih atlet di SSB tersebut. Kata kunci: fokus grup diskusi, orang tua atlet, pengaturan pola makan

Abstract

The aim of this study was to view uric acid levels and nutrient intake of soccer players. This study examined the uric acid level differences based on nutrient intake of adolescent soccer players. Indeed, nutritional status monitoring is needed to evaluate health status which can contribute to athletes’ performance. This was an observational study conducted at SSB Real Madrid in April-September 2017. Subjects involved in this study were 27 active joined U-13 or U-16 in SSB Read Madrid UNY, Yogyakarta. Uric acid data were obtained by measuring peripheral blood sample. Nutrient intake data were obtained by using SQFFQ form. The differences in uric acid levels based on nutritional intake category were tested using ANOVA test. The average of uric acid levels were 6.72±1.21 mg/dl with average protein intake of 87.38±27.41 grams. The average of energy, fat, and carbohydrate intake was 2,189.02±464.87 kcal, 46.92±15.75 grams, and 365.61±82.32 grams. There was no difference in uric acid levels based on energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrates intake (p=0.216; p=0.489; p=0.587; and p=0.845) of adolescent soccer players. The clearance of uric acid, the amount and type of fluid intake, the type of animal protein, and the purine-source food probably contributed to athletes’ uric acid levels.

Abstract

Athletes need nutritional information accurate sports nutrition for optimal support achievement. In contrast nutrition inadequate, inhibits athletes reached best performance. Focus group discussion about regulating diet to explore the problem in depth parents about nutritional. The provision of food in an athlete should be adapted and with the same period inexercise. Feeding in athelete adapted to the period exercise. Nutrition in athletes divided into three periods. Athletes having different energy needs related to differences in type, intensity, exercise duration. Related the athletes develop, balanced diet necessary requirements. Focus group discussion performed to 24 parent’s atheletes at Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) Real Madrid on September 17, 2019 at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and performed to 30 parents’s athletes at Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) Baturetno on September 15, 2019. Overall, some parents atheletes football know a difference diet in periode exercise. But, paretns athletes not be able to apply diet before, while, recovery peiods exercise because limited knowledge, limited time preparing food, and food habit. Community devotion is expected to be made in a sustainable way. This is due to the possibility of different students each year. In addition to education to parents, activities of this devotion is expected to be done not only to parents, but SSB Real Madrid UNY and SSB Baturetno to athletes and also coach soccer athletes.Keywords: focus group discussion, athlete’s parents, food patern

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerforma atlet sangat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor antara lain asupan gizi seimbang dan asupan cairan yang sesuai. Tingkat pengetahuan atlet tentang gizi seimbang dan asupan cairan masih banyak yang belum sesuai. Pentingnya pemberian edukasi tentang gizi seimbang dan asupan cairan yang tepat pada atlet dengan mempertimbangkan jumlah, jenis, dan waktu pemberian agar terjadi peningkatan keberhasilan atlet saat latihan atau bertanding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan pengetahuan tentang gizi seimbang dan asupan cairan pada atlet sepak bola di SSB Baturetno. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan edukasi gizi tentang gizi seimbang dan asupan cairan kepada atlet sepak bola di Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) Baturetno pada bulan Mei 2018 di Kantor Sekretariat SSB Baturetno, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Analisis data dengan software statistik menggunakan uji paired t-test. Tingkat pengetahuan atlet sebelum pemberian edukasi adalah 50,31 ± 15,75, sedangkan tingkat pengetahuan atlet setelah edukasi adalah 74.38 ± 15,59. Ada perubahan yang signifikan tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah pemberian edukasi pada atlet sepak bola di SSB Baturetno (p=0,001). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian edukasi gizi secara efektif dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang gizi seimbang dan asupan cairan pada atlet sepak bola di SSB Baturetno. Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengetahuan pengaturan makan sesuai periode latihan dapat diberikan oleh pelatih kepada atlet. Pihak terkait seperti atlet, orang tua dan pelatih menjadi faktor penentu pengaturan makan atlet yang optimal untuk menunjang prestasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali permasalahan secara mendalam pelatih sepak bola atlet junior mengenai pemenuhan gizi yang baik pada atlet melalui fokus grup diskusi. Penelitian yang besamaan dengan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan 27 September 2020 di Sekretariat Lapangan Sepak Bola Wiyoro, terhadap 11 pelatih atlet sepak bola junior SSB Baturetno. Sementara pengabdian masyarakat SSB Real Madrid UNY dilakukan terhadap 16 pelatih atlet sepak bola junior SSB Real Madrid UNY pada 29 September 2020 secara daring/ online melalui media zoom meeting. Kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan fokus grup diskusi kepada pelatih atlet. Secara keseluruhan, sebagian besar pelatih atlet sepak bola junior SSB Real Madrid UNY dan SSB Baturetno mengetahui adanya perbedaan antara pengaturan makanan sesuai periode latihan. Dapat disimpulkan, prestasi atlet dapat dicapai dengan dukungan semua pihak baik pelatih, pembina, orang tua dan atlet dimulai dari pengetahuan gizi yang baik hingga pengaturan makanan sesuai periode latihan atlet. Kata Kunci : fokus grup diskusi, pelatih atlet, pengaturan pola makan ABSTRACT Knowledge of eating arrangements according to the training period can be provided by trainers to athletes. Related parties such as athletes, parents and coaches are the determining factors for optimal athlete eating arrangements to support performance. To explore the problems in depth for junior athlete soccer coaches regarding the fulfillment of good nutrition in athletes through focus group discussions. Research and community service was carried out on September 27, 2020 at the Wiyoro Football Field Secretariat, with 11 coaches of SSB Baturetno junior soccer athletes. Meanwhile, the SSB Real Madrid UNY community service was carried out to 16 coaches of SSB Real Madrid UNY junior football athletes on September 29, 2020 online through the media zoom meeting. The activity undertaken is to conduct focus group discussions with the athlete coach. Overall, most of the SSB Real Madrid UNY and SSB Baturetno junior soccer athletes coaches are aware of the differences between the food arrangements according to the training period. Athlete’s achievements can be achieved with the support of all parties including coaches, coaches, parents and athletes starting from good nutritional knowledge to dietary arrangements according to the athlete’s period of time. Abstract

Balanced diet is an eating patternthat focuses on the type of food eatenby person, including staple foods, animal protein and vegetable protein, vegetables and fruits. Application of balanced diet accompanied by the fulfillment of fluid needs in athletes has a role supporting the athletes’ performance. However, many athletes have not understood the urgency of balanced diet and the fulfillment of fluid requirements in improving athlete's performance yet. Nutrition education is a solution that can be used to improve the athlete's knowledge about the urgency of balanced diet and fluid requirements fulfillment. Community devotion done to increase athletes’ knowledgewas nutrition education about balanced diet and fluid requirements. Nutrition education performed to 21 soccer athletes at Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) Real Madrid on May 08, 2018 at the Stadium of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. There was an increase of athlete knowledge between preeducation (56,67 ± 18,33) and post-education (75,24 ± 14,70), with p-value <0,001. Nutrition education can increase athletes' knowledge about balanced nutrition and fluid requirements effectively.Keywords: nutrition education, balanced diet, fluid requirement, knowledge, soccer
