Abstract

This study delves into the key factors contributing to success in the business world, particularly among pesantren alumni in Indonesia. Purpose; It focuses on identifying and analyzing the influence of financial behavior and Gontor values, including the Panca Jiwa principles (the spirit of sincerity, the soul of simplicity, the soul of self-reliance, the soul of Ukhuwah Islāmiyah, and the soul of freedom), on financial decision-making and actions of alumni within their business contexts. Method; Employing a mixed-method approach with a concurrent triangulation design, it combines qualitative and quantitative analyses. For the qualitative part, purposive sampling was used, selecting several successful entrepreneur alumni from Yogyakarta, Solo, and Ponorogo, totaling about 10 respondents. The quantitative portion of this study involved 147 respondents, chosen through simple random sampling from the population of entrepreneurial alumni. Results; The findings indicate that the majority of respondents have experienced positive development in their businesses, with increased or stable income. This is supported by a strong commitment to business ethics, prudent and controlled decision-making, and integrity in transactions and financial reporting. An approach based on analysis and avoidance of impulsive decisions indicates maturity in business strategy. Conclusion; These findings emphasize that success in entrepreneurship is not solely measured by financial growth, but also by the application of ethical values, integrity, and responsibility in business management. Future research could investigate how financial education and entrepreneurial skill development can be more effectively integrated into the pesantren curriculum to prepare more resilient future entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of brand image, price discounts, and bonus packs on impulse buying behavior among consumers at Indomaret Point Coffee in Mojokerto City. The significance of this research lies in its effort to provide deep insights into the factors influencing consumers' impulsive behavior, which can be used by companies to develop more effective marketing strategies. The research problem focuses on understanding how factors such as brand image, price discounts, and bonus packs can affect impulsive purchasing decisions among consumers. This is important because consumers' impulsive behavior can impact revenue and customer loyalty toward a brand or product. The method used in this study is quantitative with a descriptive analysis approach. The population of this study comprises consumers of Indomaret Point Coffee in Mojokerto City. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method, meaning respondents are selected based on certain criteria, namely consumers who have purchased products at Indomaret Point Coffee. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires, where responses were measured using a Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression tests through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 25. The findings of the study show that the three variables, namely brand image, price discount, and bonus pack, have a significant influence on the impulse buying behavior of consumers at Indomaret Point Coffee in Mojokerto City. Brand image has been proven to have a positive influence on impulsive buying behavior, as do price discounts and bonus packs, each showing a positive relationship with consumers' impulsive behavior. These results indicate that to increase sales through impulsive buying behavior, Indomaret Point Coffee needs to pay attention to and optimize these three factors in its marketing strategy.

Abstract

Taxation is a contribution from the people as taxpayers that is paid to the state, in this case, tax is an obligation that is forced with compensation that is not given directly by the government. The benefits of this tax are used to finance the needs of the government to the implementation of the state government which is used to regulate the socio-economic and prosperity of the people. In this case, taxes must be emphasized to be obeyed because they are in the interests of the Indonesian people. In this case, the researcher will examine the intention to comply with prospective taxpayers. Currently, the community, especially prospective taxpayers, has begun to have the intention in their souls to comply with taxation. In addition, data on the increase in tax compliance has also begun to increase among taxpayers. In this case, the study was also reviewed from an Islamic perspective. This study aims to test whether the teachings of Tamansiswa Tetep, Mantep, Antep, and Tax Morale influence the intention to comply with prospective taxpayers. The study uses a quantitative approach. Using primary data. The population in this study were students throughout the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sample in this study was 150 respondents. The method used in this study was snowball sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire distributed online using the Google Form application. This study was processed using the SPSS version 23 application. The results of this study indicate that the teachings of tamansiswa tetep, mantep, antep (X1) have a positive effect on the intention to comply with prospective taxpayers, and tax morale (X2) has a positive effect on the intention to comply with prospective taxpayers. This study indicates that efforts to improve the teachings of tamansiswa tetep, mantep, antep, and tax morale can be a major direction to increase the intention to comply with prospective taxpayers. This study is also viewed from an Islamic perspective, namely as in QS. Al Baqarah verse 286 reads "Allah does not burden a person but according to his ability". This is in line with a person's ability to comply with taxes.

Abstract

The existence of a business is crucial for a country's economy, making the bankruptcy of such businesses a matter of concern for all stakeholders. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors that contribute to financial distress in energy companies in Indonesia. The independent variables in this study are gender diversity, firm life cycle, and ESG disclosure. The sample used in this study consists of energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023. The research employs a quantitative method, utilizing descriptive statistical analysis, panel data regression analysis, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing for analysis. The analysis tool used is E-Views 12. The results of this study are as follows commissioner gender diversity and director gender diversity do not affect financial distress, while Audit Committee Gender Diversity hurts financial distress. Firm life cycle introduction, firm life cycle growth, and firm life cycle decline do not affect financial distress, while firm life cycle maturity hurts financial distress. ESG disclosure does not affect financial distress. This study aims to provide information and references for stakeholders, academics, and practitioners interested in analyzing financial distress to support decision-making and further research.

Abstract

Performance according to Islam is a form or way for individuals to actualize themselves. Performance is a real form of values, beliefs, and understanding that are embraced and based on strong moral principles and can be a motivation to produce quality work. Leadership has an important role in improving employee performance in a company. As is the case with the Islamic leadership style that has existed since the time of the Prophet with the four known characteristics, namely Shidiq, Amanah, Fatonah, and Tabligh. Testing the direct and indirect influence of Islamic leadership traits on employee performance is the aim of this research, by using employee involvement as a mediating variable. Explanatory research with primary data at the Tritya Eye Clinic was collected through an online Google Form questionnaire. The research results show that the nature of Islamic leadership has a direct influence on employee performance. Employee involvement is only able to mediate the nature of Islamic leadership (shindig) on employee performance.

Abstract

Increasing business in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) cannot be separated from sufficient funds sourced from bank and non-bank institutions. One of the social institutions that distributes funds is Baznas Pekanbaru City which distributes zakat funds to Pekanbaru City MSMEs through the Pekanbaru Prosperous program. This type of research is field research and the method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research results show that the number of MSMEs financed by Baznas is 198 MSMEs, however, the number of MSMEs that take part in business improvement educational activities is 100 MSMEs. The number of 100 MSMEs that do not yet have business permits is 68 MSMEs. Business licensing is considered difficult to administer and requires large costs. Together with STAI IMSYA Pekanbaru, Baznas Pekanbaru City synergizes in educational activities to improve the business and economy of Mustahik. The problems of MSMEs receiving Baznas Pekanbaru City assistance can be resolved with the distribution of zakat by BAZNAS Pekanbaru City and education on business improvement through business licensing by STAI IMSYA Pekanbaru which provides knowledge and control of MSME businesses so that MSMEs can keep up with developments in digitalization by using gadgets and accessing the business licensing system. free of charge which has been provided by the government, namely the Online Single Submission System (OSS) to improve their business, so that some mustahik can become muzakki.

Abstract

Good Corporate Governance (GCG), user trust and satisfaction, policy development, and improving sharia banking practices. Research problems in the analysis of the obedience and compliance of Islamic banking in implementing the principles of Sharia economics in the murabahah bil wakalah contract from the perspective of good corporate governance (GCG) users can involve several challenges and key questions. Data and information limitations, implementation variability difficulties in measuring obedience, uneven GCG compliance, differences in sharia interpretation influence of regulations and policies, user satisfaction and transparency, challenges in performance appraisal. The research method used is a qualitative approach, namely the content of article analysis from the google scholar database. The content of the article analysis was carried out to obtain a mapping of the main theme related to Islamic banking compliance in implementing the principles of Islamic economics discussed in the google scholar database in a certain period. After the selection of the next article will be analyzed by reading the contents one by one. The results of the research found that there are still many Islamic banks that use GCG that have not complied with and obeyed the principles of Sharia economics according to the fatwa DSN-MUI, especially in the Murabahah bil Wakalah contract. The purpose of the research carried out in writing this article is to analyze the obedience and compliance of Islamic banking in implementing the principles of Sharia economics, Conclusion Islamic banking that implements the GCG system still does not fully implement the principles of Sharia economics related to the DSN-MUI fatwa regarding the murabahah bil wakalah contract to avoid transactions that contain elements of maghrib to increase customer public trust in Islamic banking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi loyalitas nasabah dalam meningkatkan minat pengguna bank syariah indonesia . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan data primer yaitu data diambil langsung dari jawaban para responden. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis data berupa teknik analisis data yang didalam terdapat uji analisis linier berganda, uji hipotesis, uji analisis jalur (path analys) dan juga uji sobel. Pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS 23. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwasanya service quality berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah dalam menggunakan BSI Mobile. Namun, e-trust dan transformasi digital tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah dalam menggunakan BSI Mobile. Hasil dari penelitian ini juga menunjukan bahwa kepuasan nasabah memediasi hubungan kausal antara service quality, e-trust, dan transformasi digital terhadap loyalitas nasabah pengguna BSI Mobile

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the influence of income and education on muzaki's decision to pay zakat with religiosity as a moderating variable. The method used in this research is the quantitative method. The population in this study is muzaki in Bekasi city and district using accidental sampling technique which is taken if the selection of sample members is based on chance encounters. The sample in this study amounted to 430 respondents. The data collection method uses the survey method, namely the author distributes questionnaires directly to respondents. The data analysis technique in this study researchers used SEM PLS. The result of this study found that income has a positive and statistically significant effect on muzaki's decision to pay zakat, as well as education has a positive and statistically significant effect on muzaki's decision to pay zakat. As for the moderating variable religiosity, each weakens the relationship between income and education on Muzaki’s decision to pay zakat. This research enriches previous studies on the decision of muzaki to issue zakat from the perspective of income, education, and religiosity in the community in Bekasi City and Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi nasabah dan keunggulan produk terhadap kepuasan nasabah produk cicil emas pada BSI KC Kuta Cane. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey dengan penyebaran kuesioner sebagai instrumen. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kuta Cane. Proses pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi nasabah dan keunggulan produk secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah produk cicil emas pada BSI KC Kuta Cane.
