Abstract

Along with technological advances, the Government also made an agreement on the enactment of a single market in Asia known as the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA). In the face of MEA, teachers must have more ability in order to compete in the field of work and also able to produce students who are able to compete. This task is not light for the Government, especially for the teacher himself. For that purpose this research is done so that teacher have insight about what, who, why, how, when, and where the MEA. Especially to face the MEA that has been effective starting January 1, 2016 and then, there is no specific information about the perception and attitudes of teachers towards the implementation of the MEA. The importance of knowing the perceptions and attitudes of high school mathematics teachers in Banda Aceh is due to the perception and attitude of the mind-set that can lead to one's actions and treatment. Mapping perceptions and attitudes of high school mathematics teachers in Banda Aceh became a necessity for the program to be run by the Government to assist high school mathematics teachers in Banda Aceh appropriate and on target. After the research, the results obtained in the form of mapping the perception and attitude of high school math teachers in Banda Aceh. In general, the perception and attitude of the mathematics teacher in Banda Aceh is that the MEA never existed, the MEA is not something that needs attention, and does not want to know about the applicable MEA competition.

Abstract

The sport of swimming is a sport which is performed in the water. In Aceh province, swimming is still not growing rapidly. Forward and backwards in the sport of swimming a lot of reasons that in the encounter as a minimal and tight clothing as well as a pool that still join between men and women raises controversial opinions and problems in the implementation of the sport of swimming. The pool is still a little difficult in still or can. Skimpy and tight clothing that does not fit the Islamic jurisprudence in Aceh. The purpose of the study is to know the perceptions of students against the implementation of sports swimming in terms of Islamic Sharia in Aceh province. The research methods included in the types of descriptive research. Samples taken were students of SMK, SMA and MAN. Data collection techniques with likert scale question form with the amount of grain as much as 56 grains. The analysis of the data by using a percentage of the research results. Based on research results in getting the perceptions of students need to be made of the pool as achievement, supporting sports achievements. Hope sports swimming can be a favorite sport in the province of Aceh. Swimsuit worn for swimming must comply with Islamic jurisprudence needs to be designed. It needs to be enforced separation of pools for swimmers of both men and women. Need for motivation against swimming sports to become one of the achievements that can bring the Province.  Results of the study the overall research retrieved from variables of students was 73% respond well to the sport of swimming. The results of the calculation of the appropriate pool sports statement against Islamic jurisprudence in aggregate can be 80% obtained very good.

Abstract

Updating teaching, applying appropriate methods, provision of instructional media should primarily be done in Mathematics education, because in Mathematics education in general, there are still many obstacles and problems encountered, such as the value of children for subjects of low Mathematics, Mathematics lessons have no meaning as part in life eans –day, Math lesson is still regarded as a difficult lesson, learning mathematics conducted by teachers still tend to be conventional, lack of application of demonstration methods in learning Mathematics, lack of innovative power, creativity in learning Mathematics make this subject is not liked by children. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes by using media on the material beams in class V SD Kemala Bhayangkari. This research was conducted in class V SD Kemala Bhayangkari, the subject of this research is the students of grade V SD Kemala Bhayangkari with the number of 20 students. This type of research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The results obtained as many as 19 students or 95% complete and 1 student or 5% students are not complete. It means that there is an increasing of the students' learning mastery. This increase is as expected above 75% of the total number of students. This 95% completeness criterion above 75% indicates that the improvement of learning in cycle II has been successful.Keywords : Media, Material Beam

Abstract

The aims of this study was to investigate the relationship between students’ environmental knowledge and their behaviour in maintaining environmental cleanliness at school. This study was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Mesjid Raya Aceh Besar with a total of 220 students from grade 8 and 9. The sample that used in this reseach were 69 students. Students’ knowledge were collected by using questioner, and question about students’ knowledge. The method which used in this research is descriptive design. Data analysis was performed with quantitative techniques, then processed using Product Moment correlation statistic. The result showed that the average value of students’ environmental knowledge at 78 in high category. On the other hand, students’ behaviour in environmental cleanlines at 58 in low category. Based on the result, it concluded that there were no relationship between student’s knowledge toward the management of cleanliness school environmental ( rhitung = 0.094 < rtabel = 0,235).

Abstract

Competency test of professional doctor program students (UKMPPD) is a test that implemented to select the medical student in order to achieve the competent doctor. Graduation of UKMPPD-CBT on Medical Education Program Medicine Fakulty of Abulyatama is still very low. In this case, half of students decide to follow the guidance of learning to help them to pass the next UKMPPD-CBT. This reaserch to determine the relationship between guidance of learning with the result of UKMPPD computer based test ( CBT) for the first taker. The design of this research was an analytical survey by using cross sectional method with the total population are 105 samples in this research. And used total sampling technique quality with Medical Faculty of Abulyatama University inclusion criteria. Data obtained using questionnaires and statistical tests using Chi-Square. The result of this research is respondens who followed the guidance of learning pass 44 respondens (54,3) and respondens without follow the guidance of  learning pass 6 respondens(25,0%), with p-value 0,022. The conclusions of this research there is relation between guidance of learning with the result of UKMPPD-CBT in priode Mei 2017 in the Medical Faculty of Abulyatama University..

Abstract

To improve the performance of teachers, it is necessary to provide continuous and sustainable coaching. Improving teacher performance does not merely improve its competence either through upgrading, training and giving opportunities to develop more but also need to pay attention to the teachers from other aspect such as improvement of discipline, motivation, guidance or supervision, giving incentive, decent salary, thus allowing teachers to be satisfied in working as educators. This study aimed To determine the implementation of Academic Supervision Through Infrastructure Management in Improving Teacher Performance in Elementary School 68 Banda Aceh Lesson Year 2016/2017. Subjects in this study were all teachers in SD Negeri 68 Kota Banda Aceh, which were 10 people. Data collection techniques used in this study is the School Action Research consists of two cycles. Data analysis used in this research use quantitative descriptive statistic with percentage. The calculations in the data analysis shown the percentage of achievement which is further called with teacher performance improvement. The results showed that there was a significant increasing from cycle I to cycle II, where the number of scores achieved in cycle I of 250, increased to 380 in cycle II. The average value obtained by cycle I is 62.50%, increased to 95% in cycle II..

Abstract

This research is titled "Leukon Language Defense in Simeulue District." The formulation of the problem in this research is (1) how is the Leukon language defense level in the Leukon community of Alafan District of Simeulue Regency? The level of defense is focused on several domains, namely family, education, neighborhood, religion, and customs; (2) how does Leukon language speech effort keep Leukon language? This research uses two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative. The research is descriptive. The population in this study was Leukon speech community in two villages, Langi and Lafakha. The sample of research is 60 people divided into three groups, namely adolescents, adults, and parents of each group amounted to 20 people. The data were collected using interview technique and spreading questionnaires or questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the level of Leukon language defense in five domains tend to be positive, that is 60%. The lowest defense occurs in the educational domain of the percentage, which is 5%. In the meantime, the efforts of the Leukon community to maintain their local languages are classified as "Nanga-Nanga," and "Inafi," Overall of all groups (adolescents, adults and parents) the percentage of Leukon language defense is 61.50% 35 samples. That is, Leukon language level of defense is high.

Abstract

The issues raised whether with implemented managerial supervision will be able to improve the teachers’ quality of SMP N 1 Rantau Selamat. This study aimed to determine the quality improvement of teachers SMP N 1 Rantau Selamat through the implementation of supervision. This study is a School Action Research (PTS) using a qualitative approach implemented over 2 cycles. Duration of 3 months study from January to March 2017. The subjects of this study were 4 teachers. The research procedure is a cycle that each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection tools are observation sheets and field notes. Data collection techniques with observation and field notes. Data analysis was performed on teacher performance and field notes. The results of the first cycle of the study of managerial administrative value of teachers ranged from 3.2 to 3.7 with good and sufficient categories. Classically, the average value obtained is 3.0 or 69%. The number of teachers who have met the criteria of administrative managerial success is only 2 people or 50%. With a percentage less than 75 (percentage ≤ 75). In cycle II, the acquisition of managerial administrative value reaches the expectation of research. The four subjects received a value greater than or equal to 3.4 (value ≥ 3.4). The value achieved between 3.5 - 4.6 is good and very good category. Teacher performance effectiveness in cycle II has reached 100%. 100% effectiveness meets the criteria of classical effectiveness (effectiveness ≥ 75% in class). The average value of the overall teacher managerial aspect / component acquired is 3.9.

Abstract

The problems of school-based management in terms of improving the quality of education that has not been solved at this time is one of them related to the empowerment of the school committee. Ideally the school committee should be a parallel partner for the principal and teachers in adopting policies for improving the quality of education. The purpose of this study was to determine the empowerment of school committees in improving the quality of education at Syiah Kuala State Elementary School in Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. Technique research data of this research is interview, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this research are principals, school committees, and teachers of Syiah Kuala State elementary school in Banda Aceh. The conclusion of the research shows that the effort done by the school in empowering the school committee is to make regular meetings every three months, and to make a meeting at the end of each semester. It was at this meeting that the principal and the school committee discussed important matters concerning improving the quality of education quality improvement and other matters deemed necessary. The involvement of school committees in formulating work programs generally can be said to run well. In every work program preparation, the school always involves school committees and teachers so that each work program is really known by the school committee. The authority of the school committee is not the same as the principal, including in managing school finances. School committees have limited authority to provide certain inputs or considerations regarding school programs. Thus, the authority of the school committee is not yet optimal, especially in financial management..
